  1. Yet another display of incompetence and unprofessionalism. It's not even sad, it's just pathetic at this point. People have stayed with you and your game for a decade despite you constantly overpromising and not delivering even a bit of what you've said. I'm not even gonna talk about the "Anniversary year of content", we all know how that went. But hey, as someone not very wise said: "There is more and more to come", right? You people need to get in touch with your playerbase, regarless of how you feel about hardcore pvpers, NiM raiders or any other type of players, these are all paying customers who deserve to be heard, not banned or timed out becuase of mentioning YOUR unfulfilled promise. Noone expects you to do anything good at this point, you've ruined a game with one of the highest budgets ever. But this just brings it all to a whole new level of awful. Also, it wasn't even a bot autobanning people, this was manually done by someone. Shame on you, you are disgusting and doing a very bad job at "managing your community".
  2. I advise you to do the same, and to check what the current convo is about in detail before engaging in it. (Little help: my point was about the context, buddy) Cheers!
  3. Yo again! Just wanted to get some of my opinions out there, so here I go. What is all this whining about? 4 itemlevels? And this is coming from the same people who have fleet chat discussions about how irrelevant golden augments are? Pick a side please, either you dont care about such minor upgrades, or you want to min-max you toon's power to the best of your abilities. Don't contradict yourselves here please, complainers. Secondly, you will not need max gear for anything that has the words "solo", "story", "heroics", "dailies", "conquest" in it. You just won't. Not ever. It wasn't even once required to have good gear to complete any sort of story, and it never will be. You can join SM operations at lvl 70 now with 230 gear and your group will most likely never even notice it. That speaks for its difficulty. And any quest storyline is waaaay below even the SM requirements in terms of performance. I do not like to compare thing with past examples, but this is one of the very few exceptions. Before 6.0 came out with its Communist-ish lootsystem where everybody gets the same regardless of the effort, people who only played the story content and/or only solo did exist and there were very few complaints about the loot. I understand that 6.0 showed many that the devs are capable of introducing a system that promotes mindless grinding, slow completion of the story, crafting, PVP and high-end PVE to the same level and got too used to it. The days of this system are passing (thank God), but people cant imagine playing without the best possible gear helping them slay a bantha cub that has 50 HP on their backs. I have a solution for you – don't. Try it out when it releases, quit if you can't cope with it. To all those who claim to not have the time to get into raiding because of their timezone/schedule. Thats the dumbest thing I have evet heard. There are people playing the game and raiding from all parts of the world. Any minute some people on some server are raiding, recruiting and looking for people. And if you people have trouble with your pysical or mental health, although as a person I am truly sorry and I wish for you to get better fast, as a player and a consumer of a product I and others shouldn't have to care. The system should never be designed around its "weakest link" and shouldn't ever invalidate the efforts of those who put them into something (hi 6.X loot reward system). If you lack the physical/mental condition, do not have the time, the desire or for whatever reason can't/won't play the stuff that rewards you with higher lvl of gear, just play to the best of your abilities and enjoy what you can. IF YOU SAY THAT YOU PLAY FOR FUN, BUT DEMAND AND CARE FOR THE HIGHEST GEAR THEN YOU ARE LYING TO YOURSELF. Please people, stop being this intellectually dishonest and understand, that it's a flawed human thing – to get the all best possible insert cathegory for the minimal effort. And is the mahor thing that is behind those complaints. Just stop. If you care that much about getting that 330 armor, learn your class, get in a guild, get into raiding and put that armor to good use where it actually is needed or semi-needed. Thanks. P.S.: There is no such thing or genre as a "story-oriented MMO RPG" or "Singleplayer oriented MMO"
  4. Ah sh*t, here we go again. So lets just think for a second what this system does for players and what it solves. First of all, this doesn't do anything in terms of RNG removal, instead you just replace a visible and somewhat engaging system where the person sees the item that a boss dropped and decides wheter to roll on it or not with an invisible roll, which only adds stupidity to the whole process. You can't even pass or greed on an item that you don't need or want, which is absurd. Secondly, this change only encourages toxicity towards people who for whatever reason won't give you the gear that you need so desperately after two years from the start of the expansion. You removed votekick from ranked (which was dumb too), you have a profanity filter in the game and constantly speak of how you don't want toxicity to exist in your game. And then you decide to change the loot distribution to one that WILL make players angry at one another because someone doesn't want to give away an item that they don't need anyways. Genious. So let's think where this system is from, why it was introduced and how well recieved in the past. This obviously comes from WoW, where the same change was probably recieved the worst out of all their stupid gatekeeping and unneccessary systems/changes in the past. But since WoW has the classic gearing process where loot drops from bosses/pvp/worldquests etc. it actually somewhat makes sense in their case. In SWTOR however, the gearing process has been trivialized to the maximum, you basically don't even have to do anything to get geared. And what about the NiM ops where you practically don't get rewarded at all these days? Will the drop of unique items and mounts also be randomized? What if the person this wonderful system decided to give the item to already has it? Will it just dissapear and the group gets rewaded with frustration? At least WoW devs clarified how the system will work with mounts and unique loot beforehand, but people were still very unhappy with this change. And you just forgot to talk about how this change will affect NiM-specific drops, which is the most important part of the game for many players including myself??? I sincerely hope that this Personal Loot won't affect NiM mounts, decos and unique items, otherwise this whole system will be the peak of absurdity and nonsense. BTW, great job at copying a system off of a gamecompany that has a lawsuit in process against them! Doesn't have anything to do with the loot of course, but great job at creating the best possible image for yourselves! Nevertheless yes, I have to agree, there have been problems with Master Looter in the past - masterlooting frameworks and other important drops (That aren't gear btw and that were not even adressed in the original post). But the simplest and easiest fix to that is just disabling the option to change loot rules while in combat. None of what you change is neccesary or wanted, none of it is logical or good from a players perspective, as usual. Thanks for another thing nobody asked for!!!
  5. Hey! I had this Axe for a very long time just laying in my legacy bay and just recently decided to use it on my marauder. It has literally almost NO animations it should have. When using certain abilities the Axe shows a lightsaber-like blade coming out of it's own. I have written down a list of abilities with bugged animations for all three specs. These abilities are: General: Mad Dash, Battering Assault, some versions of the Assault ability, Force Charge, Ravage, Dual Saber Throw, Vicious Throw. Fury: Raging Burst, Obliterate, Vicious Slash. Annihilation: Annihilate (although the lightsaber blade is not colored the same as the crystal, you can still see the blade), Rupture, Vicious Slash. Carnage: Massacre, Gore. Although I realize that you guys at BW probably don't give a damn about this particular item, since it's no longer available in the Cartel Market, and those bugs are very old, I just thought I'd try writing here. It is still a shame to see those bugged animations on one of the very few old and actually rare items. I'm not even gonna start ranting about how incredibly annoying it is to see those deformed ridiculous blades coming out of an AXE you have in your toon's hands EVERY DAY you play it. I think you get the idea. Please, fix it, for once I would be grateful for a "quality of life" change. I don't think it's that hard, considering we have many vibroswords in the game that aren't so disgustingly broken. If anyone actually read it, thank you.
  6. I completely agree that the new character sheet is a total mess. It takes up way too much space, gives you nothing than your zoomed in toon and doesn't even show the currently applied outfit. The amplifier list is an even bigger mess. What is it's purpose? Those, that are building their set of amplifiers will not be harmed if they have to do one extra click how it was before (if someone even used the list and didn't just mouseover the pieces they wanted to reroll amps on), and as for the people that already have all or most of their amplifier sets completed, I highly doubt they need constant big useless window that you can't even hide. Another thing is the redesign. Who actually asked for it? Why is it even a thing? People are unhappy about all sorts of things - the desync, toxicity, throwers and wintraders in ranked, endless bugs in Dxun and operations that are older than some of the players. And yet you guys at BW decide to change the one thing nobody had any complaints about. Genius! I'm not even gonna talk about how poor the redesign actually is, but why did you change the locations of the armor slots? It is just irritating and has no use. I know that it might not be true, but it seems like another one of those changes that are done only to create the illusion that "we are actually doing something besides pumping stuff into the CM". Here is my suggestion: Please at least give us the option to hide that obnoxious amplifier list. It would be even better if you gave the option to use the "old" character sheet like you did with the toggleable option to use or not to use the pack explorer.
  7. Guys, you might wanna check the Materials tab of yours. I found mine there. Not sure why plans are considered to be them, but that was my case.
