  1. TUX is correct. Really under the guise of "fixing" the old system they made it and every other system worse (slower queue pops etc). And if development time is at a premium why design a new conquest system, just tweak the problems with the old system.

    Problems with the old system:

    1.) Sometimes the rewards didn't work. That sounds like a "you" problem, players always got the rewards albeit delayed. It may have been a waste of engineering time fixing that, but you could have fixed the old system or streamlined the fix.

    CURRENT STATUS: FIXED

    2.) Tiny/Small/Medium guilds could only compete for planets on a crafting week. Now those guilds have no chance any week, great job.

    CURRENT STATUS: MADE MUCH WORSE

    3.) A tiny number of the conquest goals were broken. Some of the current goals are broken now.

     

    CURRENT STATUS: NO CHANGE

     

    It is hard to list all of the OTHER things broken by the new system like the death of queues, people leaving and going inactive in droves and stuff.

     

    My 2000 member "Conquest guild" has nothing to do now, majority has gone inactive, stopped subscribing or right out left. So now we are a patty-cake guild. Join up if you want to sit around and cycle through your favorite emotes to impress the other 2 people logged in.

  2. Conquest is something that I think is fine as it currently stands. But the rebalancing rumors I've heard about nerfing Tank damage by 40% is going to cause an uproar if that is indeed their plan.

    While You Maybe In The Minority In Your Believes? The Majority Think And Express Differently,

    Conquest Is Currently, Borked! And Won't Be (or Can't) Be Fixed!

    Nerfing The Tank (Skanking) Class? ... Me Thinks They'll Break That One Too!

    The Team Don't Seem Very Adept At Adjusting, Or Rebalancing This Game!

  3. The Conquest system is based around Legacy, so it looks like this:

    • Repeatable - Infinitely repeatable on anyone
    • Daily Repeatable - Once per day, per Legacy
    • One-time - Can be completed one time, per Legacy, per Conquest

    The Only Way My Seventeen Man Guild Even Placed On The Leaderboard!

    Was By Using My Alts, Six Of Them, Back To Back, One After An Other

    MayHaps Abit Of Luck? But Now, That Is Not Even Possible

    Nor Will Be Obtaining, Personal Conquest Goals On Multiple Alt!

    Please Do Not Do This To Us!

  4. I've given up on the conquest entirely at this point. So many once per legacy on the pve objectives, there's just no incentive to do anything really.

    It's nice that FPs are in this conquest, but again the FP weeklies are once per legacy so no point doing them on alts and the repeatable FP objective would take around 10 FP runs to be equal to what you used to get for doing 1 with the daily GF reward.

     

    There seems to be a pretty large disparity in both my Rep side and Imp side guilds between pvp'ers and pve'ers. The pve'ers have far less in the way of repeatable content which isn't once per legacy per day/week so it's making it much harder for them to gain any traction.

     

    Overall, I'm just fed up with this new system. You took a conquest system which needed a few upgrades (like the guild targets and a few new objectives to give people more options) but you gave it a lobotomy while you were at it and left it without any joy.

    I Have A Dozen Alts In My Guild, Really Pointless, To Even Try Now!

    This Sucks! I Have A Seventeen Man Guild.

    I Have Twelve Alts, And Used Six(some times More)To Do Conquest With.

    The Nerfing To Crafting Mats And Alts It's Not Worth It To Me!

    So. I Kind Of Feel Like, Not Playing This Game Any More.

    Seems Like All The Dev's Do, Is Just Take The Things That I Enjoy Out Of This Game!

  6. Well I Found This Earlier In The Thread, It Does Seem To Work For Me Anyways.

     

    Navigate to your SWTOR Folder e.g (C:\Program Files\Star Wars - The Old Republic\Star Wars - The Old Republic)

    2. Delete patch folder

    3. Run FixLauncher as administrator

    4. Press Windows + R and type cmd hit enter

    5. Type i.) ipconfig /flushdns

    ii.) ipconfig /release

    iii.) ipconfig /renew

    6. Go to swtor web download the game downloader

    7. Run it and install it to your SWTOR Folder e.g (C:\Program Files\Star Wars - The Old Republic\Star Wars - The Old Republic)

    8. Run launcher as administrator

    I Was Able To Log In, Quit And Logged In Again! ...

  7. There Is This???

    Hey folks!

     

    We are extending our 4.1 maintenance due to issues with external network connectivity. We are working with our external partners to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We have no ETA at this time but as I have more updates I will be sure to pass them on.
