  1. Also having the same issue for the first time, English version. I tried the Bitraider delete solution several times to no avail. Glad I am not the only one and hope it's solved soon; I miss playing! EDIT: Can confirm compatibility mode worked correctly!
  2. Most frustrating chapter in the game
  3. It's true. Some players are just rude and feel better if they can deflect all the blame for a loss. For others, PVP is their bread-and-butter skill and it's frustrating when they queue up with somebody who is still learning, or has more to do in life than PVP. It's like going to the grocery store and having to buy a sirloin because the New York strips are sold out. Or going into the office and finding out you're training somebody in while you have work being delayed. All are terrible situations, so you need to blow some hot air about it at/to anybody with open communication channels.
  4. I had the same experience, but really had a blast with it. My team probably hated me for a little bit (lowbies, big deal), but I stealthed and observed the mob probably longer than I should have. At the right moment, BOOM: force speed in, overload/root their whole squad while their stuns are on CD, help the mara burst down, aggro pull, cloak out, repeat! I love the class for that "maniac cavalry" potential, and I'm a jugg at heart
  5. Also in the minority here. SW's Ravage took a bit of an animation hit, but I really like the new one for JK. It makes the Guardian look a little more agile and versatile instead of a wide-sweeping centrifuge of lightsabering
  6. I was keeping PVP at the front of my mind... Doy... My jugg has been doing solo flashpoints in Immortal just fine and I think the other specs are still very PVE reliable. I'm still working kinks out as far as PVP goes, but a Mara sounds like it might be what you are looking for in a PVP setting
  7. To blaze through as fast as possible, Immortal will not be a viable option. I've been rolling this for survivability as DPS Jugg defenses are wanting with this patch. You'll stick around but you won't hit a home run either. My jugg has evolved into more of a utility player and situational. I pull numbers across categories. From your description, I'd probably look at rolling Rage, but juggs are not all that bursty anymore. I will say this update does a nice job at making players really learn the in's-and-out's of the classes for them to be played right.
  8. I'm willing to give the new gearing system a shot, but I'm not all that impressed so far. It feels like a privatization of gearing capabilities. Sure, the field is evened out at face value, but there are those who have a distinct advantage and those who do not. Some players have the flexibility to load in 12 hours of play a day, and as a result have a better opportunity to complete gear sets. Others, such as myself, also work 40+ hours a week and scramble when we do log on to hoard CXP and wait patiently. That next earpiece or implant is a reason for us to celebrate a little. The old gearing system worked for everyone, and even those with other real life obligations were still able to gear up to max with an appropriate allocation of time. It's still fresh and we'll get used to it, but I'm essentially going to be rolling 1 or 2 toons in a PVP environment instead of really getting a feel for each class and how they function competitively. That's a little bit of a shame IMO
  9. Easily the crystal/commendation issue for me. It was very easy for me to keep track of endgame gear, so this will be a bit of an adjustment. Really need to log some more time to let it sink in, but really wish I had geared up faster a month ago so I have time to wrap my mind around things. There were plenty of "Whaaaat the?" moments last night.
  10. Been one heck of a smoke break! I look like Jack Torrance at the end of The Shining
  11. It's widespread. In the same boat here. BLEGH
  12. Technically you can use Force Lightning as a Juggernaut. I've even used it as a Jedi Knight. When you complete multiple storylines, using your Heroic Moment cooldown activates two legacy abilities above your main quickbar. My first two toons completed were a Jugg and a Lightning Sorc, and as such my legacy abilities were Force Choke and Force Lightning (I am not sure if these abilities are dictated by the order of storyline completion). These carry over across characters in your legacy. I was a bit giddy when my LS Guardian was blasting guys away with lightning So in essence, yes, you can conjure lightning as a Sith Warrior. It just takes completing the Inquisitor storyline first. Neat trick but useless in PVP scenario.
  13. Ok I'm not the only one. I untracked it because I'm sick of having it in my missions queue
