How can I set up to display my coordinates without having to use the map ?

I appreciate you telling me what is going on. Bear in mind I am a 70 year old man so I do not pretend to be an expert. However, surely this could be avoided by testing it first on a test server first?

I have looked in the "Guild Tab" in the Guild Stronghold and I have visited the three of the places where I should be able to purchase one. The just keep telling me a have to Deactivate.....
