I'm playing through the Warrior story for the second time and I've just completed the class quest. I was about to begin the story arc for the planet when I began to wonder if it was worth the effort. Taris, for all intents and purposes, is a monster-infested swamp. Why not just stand back and smirk while the Republic funnels lives and resources into a project that probably wouldn't reach fruition for decades? Every pair of boots on Taris is one less in another, more strategically significant warzone. Or maybe I just can't be bothered with Thana again. I dunno.

Precisely. I imagined my character using the force for such things as enhancing her reflexes, balance and other physical attributes, to expedite victory in melee combat. As a warrior, I imagine she'd consider that feats of telekinesis and agility would be possessed of greater utility than more subtle disciplines such as persuasion. Persuading others through the force is simply a trait that never manifested in her, and she does not regret its absence.

I simply assumed my Wrath couldn't do it and that no one masters the Force entirely. As an avid and veteran 40k player, I held a similar view of the force as I did towards psykana abilities. To quote a chap from one of the novels; "You get what you get"

If you have a problem with fetch quests then you may want to give RPGs a break.

Thank you for the compliment. My character wears the sith recluse breastplate with a secondary medium grey dye, along with the recluse greaves and bracers. She also sports a mantellian privateer headband, eradicator's belt, satele shan's gloves and the battlefield commander boots. The hairstyle is shaggy, I understand it's usually available on the GTN. Just need to get to level 50 so I can bust my white colour crystal out. Hopefully Bioware will see the light and release a dark side eyes appearance option.
