  1. I have been having the issue this morning of being unable to remain logged into a character of mine. I will log in to the Character Screen, and could set on the Character Screen for 30 minutes if I wanted to without being disconnected. However, when I click PLAY on a character, she is immediately logged out and I am returned all the way back to the Server Select screen, logging in to all abilities being greyed out, the Who where there is supposed to be a number for the amount of people online on the planet I'm on coming up as 'unde' and the »x» icon in my latency spot, telling me 20+ seconds of server lag for a few seconds before the disconnect occurs. I am presently unable to play as a result of this. I have tried ALT+F4 and reloading the entire server, and this has not corrected the issue. It is becoming extraordinarily frustrating in addition to certain other graphical issues (such as getting the screen with Tau Idair on the right side with Malgus in centre-screen and Dantooine in the background whenever I alt-tab, lasting some 15 seconds before I get a screen again, or loading screens essentially pausing for up to 30 seconds when I alt-tab to, say, check discord, or something like that). I hope there's some way to fix this. I can also confirm that this is happening on multiple servers, as I have reserve characters on the Satele Shan server, and can stay connected throughout the character creation process but cannot actually do anything once logged into it, there, either.
  2. Personally, I feel as if this is a 0% Chance scenario unless it is like the Coruscant and Dromund Kaas Apartment options -- it would come as a paired set, like Jedi Stronghold on Tython and Sith Stronghold on Korriban. A Stronghold on Oricon or Nathema would be fantastic, and beautiful, but would absolutely NOT be faction-specific in any context and would likely therefore not have a description title like 'Sith Stronghold.' It might be marked as "Oricon Temple" or "Dread Temple," on Oricon, because that would be more neutral. The same is likely the case for Nathema: it would likely not be called Sith Stronghold, it would have a faction-neutral designation, like the Tatooine Homestead. It's up to you what you decide to DO with it, essentially. I would also like to see more diverse strongholds, like a Luxury Winter Resort on a Hoth mountaintop or small plateau, a Quesh bunker, Taris ruins that are "expanded" by spending money to *renovate* the place and make it look more restored and less in ruins in the first place, a Copero Villa with a cliff that you can see Copero from, a Zakuul Loft that would be tiny comparative to the Coruscant and DK Apartments but which would make great sense as a way to have a secret outpost and later a sort of Zakuulan command centre post-KOTET, and etcetera.
  3. I followed the instructions at the above-linked site; it has not had the intended effect. I have also discovered that I am unable to travel to Tatooine, except in the Tatooine SH. If I attempt to exit to Tatooine from my stronghold, there, once again the game crashes.
  4. The Ignore feature needs to be improved. First, please make clicking Ignore on someone add *every character in their legacy* to the ignore list. It is possible for someone to have dozens of characters on one server, making the ignore extremely reliant on you knowing all of their character ID's to be able to guarantee you won't run into someone you'd rather not play alongside. Second, please make clicking Ignore on someone add them to a universal, legacy-wide ignore list. I currently have 32 characters across the two factions, and remove the 10-second global cooldown on adding/removing people that are presently not online. It takes me long enough to add everyone to each character's ignore list that I have to move in the midway point to avoid being logged out for inactivity while I'm typing in names.
  5. Last week, I was unable to travel to Corellia on any character, and was unable to log into the game on the character I had on Corellia because he was at that part of the class story-arc. Whenever I attempt to log into him, the game just simply crashed on the spot without travel. Now I am having the same issue occur when I attempt to travel to Alderaan. This is a serious hardship because while I don't have any character on Alderaan at the moment, there are Conquest Objectives on Alderaan I wanted to pursue. I'm uncertain whether or not the crash has been corrected with Corellia, but please do something about it on Corellia and Alderaan, both. It feels rather game-breaking to not be able to travel to the final planet in the class story-arc, or to a planet of particular beauty and deep lore value.
  6. For perspective: I have the complete set of Remnant Arkanian gear for the Agent, Bounty Hunter, Inquisitor, Knight, & Warrior classes. I have the complete set of Remnant Dreadguard gear for Agent, Knight, Smuggler, & Trooper classes. I have the complete set of Remnant Yavin gear for Agent, Bounty Hunter, Consular, & Warrior classes. I have the complete set of Remnant Underworld gear for Agent & Warrior classes. I have the complete set of Remnant Resurrected gear for Bounty Hunter & Trooper classes. This represents, currently, 119 slots of my current total of 560 in my Legacy Cargo Hold. I would like to propose the idea of a new Decoration item for Strongholds, and Guild Flagships: Personal Armoire -- Like the Personal Cargo Hold, this would be able to hold any bound "Armour" item, allowing the player to, as with the Collections system, "Reclaim" the complete set of any outfit set they want to keep available on a specific given character. This would NOT be like having an additional "Outfit," because to use it they would still need to reclaim a copy and pay the credit cost for activation of an outfit. Legacy Armoire -- Like the Personal Cargo Hold, except that it would take any item that is Bind-to-Legacy or Unbound and allow the player to put it into this Armoire where they can reclaim it from any character on their legacy that they want to do so with. As an alternative: I would propose that rare armour sets that require you to gather them in a specific manner (not including those with set bonuses, for obvious reasons) should fall under the "Collections" system/tab, allowing you to reclaim an outfit only once you've accumulated all of the constituent elements of that outfit (such as having 7/7 of the Remnant Underworld Warrior armour-slot items). This would NOT include placing set bonuses on these items, it would simply make it possible for you to not need to KEEP a set in your Legacy Cargo Hold or in some Personal Cargo Hold to have access tosomething that can take hundreds of locked crates to accumulate the complete set for.
  7. In the Bounty Hunter class mission FAMILY CLEANSING when you reach the objective for TALK TO VERETA FRAABAAL, there is a graphical bug. The eyes of both VERETA FRAABAAL, and the player-character, will be completely black fields. The eyes of both Vereta Fraabaal and the player-character, both, will have no pupil, no iris, no sclera: all graphical elements are replaced with a simple black screen.
  8. I am experiencing repeated disconnects from the Star Forge server. I log in and I'm almost immediately disconnected from the server after logging my character back into Nar Shaddaa, again. I can't even actually DO ANYTHING, I can't even take a few steps, before it disconnects me, YET AGAIN, from it. I know this is not on my end, because I have discord, which is highly sensitive to internet connectivity concerns, and it has not had one single problem during this entire incident. This is becoming really extremely agitating and I have no clue why it is occurring, because my internet is absolutely stable and hasn't been giving me any trouble whatsoever at this point. When I say repeated, I mean it's done it over 10 times so far.
  9. @SteveTheCynic Yes, but this is an issue where I used the Skill that *Breaks Combat* and it stealthed me, but did not break combat. It continued to have the hostiles pursue and attack me, breaking stealth *again,* a *second time,* and forcing me to use Force Cloak TWICE to do what it says it does in one.
  10. The Foundry has a massive amount of them, as well, though that's also time-intensive and might not be quite as fast as multiple runs of Esseles/Black Talon, respectively, but I seem to recall getting a massive amount of them out of the Foundry.
  11. KOTFE & KOTET need to be examined. Force Cloak does not work properly in these chapters. I have used it and had combat continue until I used it *again.* It is as if these were coded specifically to penalise stealth characters and force stealth characters into open combat which is not the reason people play stealth characters.
  12. I'm sorry, but I'm going to just say one thing: the Onderon and Mek-Sha Datacrons are pathetically unworth the effort. If the developers are going to be sadistic and cruel like they're Romans, the Datacron value should be increased. It should be increased rather dramatically. If you're going to make these things this ridiculously difficult to obtain, and obnoxious besides, up the value to a minimum of +20. I'm an avid player and love the game, but this nonsense? It is not worth the effort to get. Period.
  13. January 2020. 951 Armor Maintenance. Time: 47 minutes and 57 seconds. Effect: Rank up to 50 for I-08. Rank 14 to Rank 50 for HK-55. The last 165 brought HK-51 from Rank 8 1104 | 1700 to Rank 29 3864 | 5900. Notation: Cartel Market-purchased Companions have no comment. You can mute the computer to be able to bypass that stuff. Cartel Market-purchased Companions grow affection faster. Armor Maintenance for I-08: +532 Influence per item used from 40+ Armor Maintenance for HK-55: +300 Influence per item used from 40+ The difference made it take several hundred to get HK-55 clear to 50. The main issue with bulk gifting is that the amount of Influence gained decreases at certain intervals. Thus, if you bulk-gifted an item that gave +1016 Influence per gift in the early levels but only 300 in the last ten levels of influence, they would need to find a way to program the stage-downs of return value for the gift given. I would STRONGLY support instant-gift-giving like the instant acquisition of decorations, as has been mentioned above. 48m3s to give 961 Gifts is cruel. The argument could also be made 961 Rank 6 Artifact-tier Gifts resulting only in 2 Rank 50 Companions (and one of those Cartel Market-bought with the sweet boost that gets, effectively), is also cruel. Frankly, the current gift-giving feels like it was programmed by the Sith, between how long it takes to give the gifts and how many you need to give. For those interested: +599 Influence per Armor Maintenance for HK-51 up to 15. +524 Influence per Armor Maintenance for HK-51 until Rank 20. +449 Influence per Armor Maintenance for HK-51 until Rank 29. If it follows HK-55's progression, it drops to 374 from 30 and to 300 at 40.
  14. Yea. I killed everything all the way through. I was standing in the green circle with the missile launcher, and it was telling me I needed to be facing the train wreckage. It's a bit annoying because I was at least that far and I feel like that must be almost done since flashpoints are never SUPER long, individually.
  15. Crisis on Umbara is broken. It will not allow me to 'Use Missile Launcher to Bypass Wreckage' - it keeps telling me I must be facing the wreckage of the train to fire the missile launcher, WHILE I am facing it and looking directly at it. I also get an error message every time I try to report bug or report spam.
  16. The title line says it all; also, try having a working help centre because your off-site help centre doesn't load properly for me, but seriously, remove BitRaider from the program because it is the reason that I have repeatedly had trouble logging in. I took the advice to delete it myself, and I am still having trouble getting logged into the game. It is really, really infuriating because SWTOR is one of my favourite ways to spend my free time and is actually the only MMO that I currently play - and this nonsense being a repeated problem is making me strongly have to reconsider that because if you're not even going to make it possible for me to log in easily, maybe I should play something else.
  17. EDIT: Disregard, replied & then it showed last comment about the medallion. Should've known I was forgetting something. lol.
  18. Question for me is where IS the fuse? I can't see it anyway, I know I'm looking for a little green thing but the only little green thing I see is the thing I just took out.
  19. Rishi Given that you "run a gang" on Rishi, you should have the possibility of obtaining a Stronghold on Rishi which would be overlooking or in some moderate proximity to Raider's Cove. A "base of operations" for "your" gang, and have that be where Harlow Ricks is (once you've got the stronghold - leave him in the cantina for people who don't have some home of their own on Rishi, of course). Personally, I love Rishi. Odessen Maybe make this one conditional to having completed the Eternal Throne arc and locked otherwise, but once you've made Odessen into one of the primary seats of military power in your Eternal Alliance / Eternal Empire depending of course on your alignment choices, a stronghold here would make sense and would add a sense of growth/ongoing expansion to Alliance military operations. It could overlook the Odessen military complex that we're familiar with. Personal Warship Guilds have flagships - a flagship is only a flagship if it leads a fleet or an armada. A mobile stronghold could be an awesome thing to have, too. Somewhere you could land your "personal ship," where you could accumulate a host of loyal allies, guild flagship-like unlocks but not on the same scale. You couldn't have, say, a dreadnought, but the Alliance Commander, or a member of the Dark Council or Jedi Council, travelling around in a corvette or something, seems weird to me. The little ship is more manoeuvrable and useful in space combat missions for instance, but you wouldn't take that into galactic starfighter anymore than the big ship would go into a space battle mission for the obvious reasons. That being said, a mobile personal warship stronghold could relocate to different worlds for - for instance - 10,000 credits to fund the cost of starship travel across however many parsecs to where you want it now. The game already includes the graphics for every world in the game that you can visit (since it shows your little ship soaring up to it), so it'd be easy to modify that into a stable view of said planet out the windows of one side of the personal warship stronghold. NOTE: You should have a few options of which warship, faction-specific until the Fallen Empire / Eternal Throne arc, at which time you should if you've waited that long have the option to buy ANY warship from either faction due to the Alliance / Eternal Alliance / Eternal Empire which has pulled in loyalists to your character from both sides. Decorations options. Peripherally related, but it would be nice to see Crew Skill Trade Vendor & Crew Skill Trainer, and for that matter Class Skill Trainer, decoration items under Personnel, similar to how the Medical Droids can be interacted with, the prefab droids can be interacted with, and that basic decoration vendor can be interacted with.
  20. I've noticed that SOME of the things, don't have resource nodes. Specifically, the Mission Crew Skills, the ones that aren't Gathering or Crafting. Now, you might say, legitimately, "gathering is meant to be stuff that you can gather in the field," but at the same time, you send your crew-mates on MISSIONS to GATHER stuff, far more frequently, so I have an idea. a. Diplomacy Gather nodes for this could be found in cities - like, actual cities, where everything is green or extraordinarily rarely is yellow. For instance, pairs of people discussing things in Coruscant, Raider's Cove, Dromund Kaas, Anchorhead or Mos Ila, etcetera. You could do it like they do when you have to "question Corellian Run pirates" on Rishi, where your character essentially joins the conversation and gets a reward in the form of some random collection of things from Diplomacy MISSION rewards. b. Investigation Now, let's be real for a minute: Bioanalysis gets to analyse monster corpses of Strong, Elite, or Champion. Scavenger gets to analyse destroyed machinery enemies of Strong, Elite, or Champion. Investigation for the most part, nets you biochemical & medical supplies. You COULD have the ability to scan normal organic sapient being enemies - humans, trandoshans, whatever - of Strong, Elite, or Champion level, on the premise of gathering medical data via a scanner, and, poof, mission-style rewards. It'd be nice to see a gather node for this one. c. Treasure Hunting. There's actually a really easy way to do this imo. There's lots of places where there are ruins, lots of places where there's all kinds of stuff really. For instance, Yavin 4 and all those pottery shards. You could have a few of those be replaced with the Yavin Pottery decoration as a gather-node (note: only a gather node in living world, but not in the strongholds), or have other things where there is a lid on something, be something someone with the Treasure Hunter option can check for "goodies," of a level appropriate to the zone they're in. Obviously you wouldn't want to find tier-1 treasure hunter mission stuff on Yavin 4, but you wouldn't want to find tier 10 on Coruscant, either. If anyone else has any other ideas, please feel free to throw them out there, too, but it just seems like if Gathering Crew Skills are going to have missions (and I love that they do), then Mission Crew Skills should have SOME way or another to gather in the living world.
  21. The lamps you shoot to stop the crier take far too long to revert to usable state. Also, the quest should be realistically simplified to allow you to simply shoot / use the Force to make the Droid stop. Realistically, if I were my Smuggler, I'd just shoot the thing's legs off and MAKE it talk to me. I mean if I'm a cannibalistic pirate, how likely is it I'm going to be at all respectful of a public mouthbox droid?
  22. Force Charge / Leap - Control We're all familiar with Star Wars enough to know, Force-users can make massive, long-distance leaps, and while the classes of Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior are the only ones who can do this aggressively, I think it would be good to give all Force-using classes the option of a 30-metre movement opportunity. Force Leap / Force Charge could, for example, be made something that gives a pinpoint target icon when you haven't got an enemy selected. When you have an enemy selected, it would naturally operate as always - when you don't, you'd be able to choose a specific point 10-30 metres from your current location and jump to it, up, down, whatever. This would also help prevent you from having people need to use /stuck since we all also know that you can use Force Leap / Force Charge while in midair, so there'd be nothing to stop you from Leaping out of being /stuck. Now I know there might be some objections to Force-user classes only being the only ones to net this sweet bonus, or what would be a sweet bonus if it were implemented, but I have a solution: grappling hook. You know how enemy units have the "grapple" option sometimes? Well, give a "Grappling Hook" movement ability to Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Trooper, and Imperial Agent, allowing them to up/down by 10 to 30 m. or the ability to target something in the landscape and yank themselves 10 to 30 m. If that doesn't work, I'm sure there's some other decent options. You could even have it be a little varied - give Bounty Hunter a "jet launch," for instance, inasmuch as that they do have a jet-pack based on some of the abilities of the class. Throw abilities. A number of classes have the ability to throw things away from them - except, as far as I can tell, Smuggler, Jedi Knight, and Sith Warrior. I'd like to see that change somewhat - for instance, give Sith Warrior the choice of Force Choke, Force Push, or Force Pull, depending on the player's preferences, and give Jedi Knight the choice of Force Push, Force Pull, or Force Stasis, again depending on the player's preferences. Now, I know they're a melee class, but they've also got a jump-to-it-and-stab-it ability, so throwing an enemy's not exactly end-of-the-world in terms of how it'd impact your combat experience. Plus the fact that Jedi Shadow has the ability to teleport to an enemy and has the ability to fling stuff away from them in all directions. Make Force-push or Force-pull be single target, but it would be nice to have the ability to throw enemies or, alternatively, yank an enemy to you the way that those bloody enemy units with Grapple are able to. Admittedly, I also say this as someone who likes to throw things off a cliff when it's a possibility, but more than that, it seems weird that my Jedi or Sith character can join forces with two other Force-users to lift a giant ship out of quicksand but then doesn't have the ability to fling an enemy away from them if they would so please to do so.
  23. Voss Availability: Everyone Now, this might be one of those "must have X reputation" things, but there's a maximum weekly limit of reputation growth on the location and it might make people come back to Voss. Plus, Voss is pretty gorgeous and they have excellent architecture, so might be nice, and hey, there's a whole bloody planet available, not like there's not a lot of land or anything. Alderaan Availability: Everyone A male Bounty Hunter can gain the "Baron" title by choosing (and being intimate with / flirting to fruition with) the female Girard candidate, and female Bounty Hunter can get the "Baroness" title by choosing (and being intimate with / flirting to fruition with) Raffid Girard. This could be an unlock or just the justification for unlocking it - there's also that on Republic-side, you can gain that Paladin title, so Alderaan would be an awesome place to have your own stronghold or at least a stronghold of some kind. Again, big planet, beautiful planet, and hey, it hasn't been turned into an asteroid field JUST yet. Unvisited Worlds Planets where you either never go or where you don't go for very long. Manaan, for instance, or Risha's home-world of Dubrillion, or the home planets of other companions - this would obviously involve a lot of coding just for the full value of visual, and you wouldn't have an "exit to _____" option because the planet's one you don't actually visit for anything, but it'd still be kind of awesome to have stronghold options for these, just for the attractive aesthetics of it. I'd love to see Manaan, Dubrillion, and others, personally. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd love that myself.
  24. Following an auto-update of Windows 10 that I told my computer not to do because Windows 10 is terrible, my computer is giving me Error 208 when I try to log into the SWTOR launcher and when it does actually log in I'll instead then get "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again." and still cannot launch it and play the game. What is Error 208? I need assistance with correcting this.
  25. NOTE: One or more of these ideas may have already been mentioned on this forum. Apologies in advance to anyone who is bothered by the potential for redundancy. That said... Here's a list of planets I would love to see us have the ability to buy a stronghold on (or a homestead, even better yet)... ALDERAAN: Maybe this is for Alderaan reasons, but I'd love to have a homestead here. Or a stronghold. You could even go with the possibility of offering both: a homestead could be on level ground in a grassy valley somewhere, while placing strongholds on a mountain summit. Alderaan is richly populated when it comes to both valley meadows and high mountains, so I could totally see it as plausible for a player to have one, the other, or both, if they really wanted to spend the credits or cartel coins on getting these. HOTH: Ain't nobody like Hoth but me, I guess, but it has some nice scenic mountains and like Alderaan thought above, it might be kind of nice to have a mountaintop fortress as an option for a stronghold. High ground makes for a nice, strong stronghold, with a great view besides. TATOOINE: The homestead here is actually smaller than it could be. I counted 6 additional balconies with buildings and just based on the lights, 22 rooms that could be coded along with those balconies, accessible by tunnels or elevator (or both). Also, the Jawa Balloon that's lumbering around would be kind of a neat place to have a room or seven. Obviously, these would all be expensive expansions, but I'd certainly be personally interested in them myself -- of course, it'd also require massively increasing the maximum number of decoration hooks from the current 500 for that, but I wouldn't mind, having more than enough decorations at the moment. This is just coming from someone that really loves her Tatooine homestead, though, and wants there to be even more of it to lavish that love on. It is such a beautiful homestead, pay no mind to the people who don't like deserts, I think it's gorgeous. MAKEB: This could be sort of an unlock-required stronghold option. You know, like, unlock it once you've completed all the story quests on Makeb and maybe X amount of the local planetary quests besides, maybe including the Heroics. From the in-character perspective, you obviously wouldn't want someone getting a stronghold on Makeb while the planet's still likely to go ker-BLAMMO! at any moment, but once you've completed the story-line there, maybe you'd be able to do enough to get a stronghold on top of one of those lovely mesas. Not like Makeb doesn't have plenty of them. DAC: This planet is... well, it isn't in the game yet insofar as I know, but it's the planet where dwell the Quarren and the Mon Calamari, and it could easily house two different stronghold options, as well -- one underwater homestead, inside of some manner of biosphere, with environmental animations of whales and fish swimming by and such, and one surface-level stronghold in one of their surface cities. Pretty sure those have been around long enough that they could've existed during this point in time. Even if Dac might never be coded at all, it could be kind of nice to sit and watch the fish from inside your inverted fishbowl while hanging out with a friend, role-playing, whatever it is you decide to do with your stronghold. TUTORIAL WORLDS: Going to just go ahead and lump Tython, Korriban, Nal Hutta, and Ord Mantell, together, on this one, and say that I think it'd be kind of nice to have strongholds available on each of these planets, maybe even have homesteads in Tython and Korriban since they aren't actually in the middle of a war-zone (as Ord Mantell is) or so toxic that you'd probably not want to put a homestead there (as is the case on Nal Hutta), but Tython and Korriban are secure for their respective factions sufficiently to allow for homesteads to be a reasonable possibility from an in-character perspective. You could have a tower-top stronghold on Nal Hutta or a bunker-style stronghold on Ord Mantell, by contrast, which I think both of those would be kind of nice. CORELLIA: This is another planet where since it is sort of an ongoing warzone, you'd probably want a stronghold rather than a homestead, but I think it would be nice. Perhaps a bunker-style stronghold with a ground level and then one below that (sort of like how the strongholds on Dromund Kaas and Coruscant are, except that you arrive on the top but go down instead of arriving on the bottom and climbing stairs up). RISHI: It's a beautiful planet, I'd love to have a homestead here, possibly making each homestead one of the planet's apparently numerous islands. VOSS: Homestead all the way, here, again, it's a gorgeous planet, and I doubt I'm alone in loving the architectural style of the Voss. They're fascinating to look at, and so is their architecture. These guys have good taste. I bet you could do some awesome stuff with this. I think that's all I can think of for the moment out of already-coded worlds + Dac as a bonus, but anyone else who wants to toss in the name of another planet is welcome to do so!
