Out of curiosity what caused the issues that have occurred on the West Coast Servers???

My guild is having the same problem

As you may have noticed the Order of Doom is no longer on Beregen Colony. It was felt that The Order of Doom needed to be spruced up a bit and I hope that many of you will be online more often in the future. For those that do not know me I am Nav'ras Jueventa and the current Guild Master and it is my aim to have as many APAC Refugees as possible in the guild to build multiple teams for Operations, PVP, Flashpoints and Leveling. My vision on how this would work is the we have four teams of 8 lvl 55's and one weekend a month they run the lower lvl toons of their own class through missions to assist in leveling and the finding of Datacrons etc that way it is not all put on one individual to help newbies to SWTOR or lower level toons, it will be a Guild Effort. However the most likely unattainable dream is to have four APAC Teams and Four USA Teams) so that our presence is felt almost 24/7 (baring server maintenance and sleep breaks :lol:) While this is happening the other three teams will be running their Operations, PVP and or Hard Mode Flashpoints etc So what do I need from you my fellow Guildies? Your Support and Commitment: if you have plans to be away LET ME KNOW ASAP!!! so arrangements can be made to replace you for that event. If you have fellow APAC players in other Guilds let them know that we are rebuilding and would love to have them along for the ride, or if you and your friends want to join this Guild our base requirements is that you have a lvl 40 to 55 character that is reasonably geared - doesn't have to be perfect just have something so you can participate fully in FUN. All in all the most IMPORTANT thing I want for my Guild is to have FUN and LOTS of it. Happy Gaming Nav'ras

Bioware as an accountant by trade this is absolutely correct under Australian Commercial Law you will be breaching your contract with us "The Consumer" if this merge goes ahead. Recommend that Australians start talking to their lawyers as soon as possible

To put this bluntly I started playing SWTOR because it had the APAC Servers and so did many others. Tonight our Servers were HEAVY which shows that population is not the reason for this merge. Can any member of EA or Bioware tell us the truth? As a merge to the North American Servers is not going to work as I stated before you will lose Australian Subscriptions and Players simply because we will not be able to handle the Server Lag. You want players from the APAC region to still play and subscribe??? Yes? Then you have two options: Option 1: Find a way to lower the server lag bellow 80ms for the APAC region players on NA Servers or.... Option 2: Let the APAC Servers stay, and if they are to expensive then ASK US to find you a better deal many of us are in the computer industry we can get better pricing on Servers here than a foreign company can. Those are your Options if you want to keep the APAC Region with SWTOR and not move to some other game where Server Lag doesn't really matter. Your Move

There is an opportunity here to maybe create the Kessell Run and maybe we could have some pod racing on Malastare???

Maybe instead of the mains name have the relationship to the main added as a Title eg My main is Navras and have my Alt's Title "Son of Navras" or "Allie of Navras" or "Rival of Navras" etc This would have to be split along the Republic/Imperial lines as I have 2 Mains one on each side But overall I like the idea

It would be interesting to have a swtor version of your own face so that it is actually you who is playing

If I could have a response from our developers it would be a really good thing to do as we Australians are paying MONEY for this game. It would be the polite thing to do

You cannot penalise people on those grounds as there are multiple reasons for dropping out of PVP. 1. Red Cross of Death - Lag 2. Death of Internet - Connection Issues 3. Taking Out The Garbage - Parental/Spousal Interference 4. Hypergate - No further comment required Any Questions?? No? Excellent now you can get off your soap box and get back to playing the game.

I have created a character on the Bergen NA Server to test the game experience given that I and 90% of Australian Players are on ADSL2 and the new broadband network has not been rolled out completely. My results were less than satisfying. SWTOR is set for the highest graphics atm. Bergen Results Standing Still: 188ms Moving: 255ms Combat: 355ms Gav Daragon Standing Still: 31ms Moving: 33ms Combat: 35ms DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM???? Bioware you are going to LOSE Australian Players as we simply do not have the Internet capability to keep up on the NA Servers and as a paying customer I expect better, I signed on with this game because you had APAC Servers. Can you delay the merge until the NBN (National Broadband Network) is 90% rolled out? I am begging you as I do enjoy playing SWTOR but I will leave if I can’t contribute in my PVP, PVE Groups.
