  1. Yup, exactly what I just noticed. Now I wonder... should I recruit Xalek again or kill him for the laugh? (and for make me type a useless thread) Hum....
  2. Starting death before dishonour hoping to find another one of my former crew members.... to find out I must enter the enemy faction camp base?! Seriously? What the hell are they thinking?! Must form a *********** raid on a mission on Ilum which is never that much populated? I'm not amused on this one. Oh well.... I guess I'll just cope with it and move on. Hope at least it was not a mission to get Xalek (I doubt Ashara went crazy mindlessly killing miners). I want my ancient crew back EDIT : I should change my glasses, was so focused on the green arrow I didn't notice the other dot ^^'. Well , nevermind lol. I guess I'll leave the thread as it is so that people can laugh and/or facepalm all their content.
  3. Ashara LS as **** to the end?! She came along me kicking Tython's sorry butt and she didn't say anything about that. Also, if you click on her between conversations chances are she recites both Jedi and Sith code in the same time. Also she says that she found peace but in the same time understood the sith "passion" thing or something like that but basically she tells you she thinks to have understood both doctrins, questions both orders etc. But in the end she's more sith-like than jedi for sure. But not the "let's zap people for the lelz" type of sith and that's why I take her around every mission instead of Xalek. My sith went more grey in the process too in her contact. Started her as a "zappy" stih style and just figured she couldn't ignore everything Ashara was questioning and eventually made her tone it down regarding the mindless zapping so much she's now back to "neutral" in alignment. Regarding Lana well...yeah , she looks pragmatic and all in SoR but in Kotfe I saw her getting mad at my sith and trying to kill that knight (while here, my sith got pragmatic instead telling her to let him live so that they prove the emperor lies about them).... Nah, I'm confident she won't turn into a jedi. On the question about "are Jedi good guys"? It's a religious sect that is less nocive than the Sith for sure. But still I guess the galaxy would have fared much better without Sith and Jedi jumping at each other's throats during milleniums for belief matters and then vengeance too. Are the Sith only to blame for this neverending war? I don't think so. The Jedi are prone to raise their lightsaber as soon as they spot a Sith as well. During SoR they could see how strong they can get working along, same seems to be going on in Kotfe but nooo they have to go back to their neverending feud. So far for "freedom" and "peace".
  4. And a huge swtor playerbase is there because no Kotor 3 too. I am one of them. The mmo part doesn't interest me very much I played 99% of my time solo. Also about class stories, I think people don't realize how much extra work and time it is to make branching stories even if changing just some lines etc. About Kotfe, I just can't understand all the whining on this expansion. I mean, I didn't get bored any minute and they even managed to make me have interest for all of my companions which is a very rare feat. About the former expansions, I personally loved RotHC, SoR a bit less but is fine to my book still. So yeah, no class story but I didn't expect any. Why? I never saw that in any mmo expansion ever with specific full cutscenes etc all over. Of course would be better with but still I can cope with it and I don't feel scared going through Makeb or Rishi again with another character. I don't know for the over classes but Sith Inquisitor was a blast from beginning to end. Damn, I remember my wife got mad because I didn't want to go to bed before having seen . I was like totally hooked by this. Consular as far as I went made me yawn and not that implied though and I barely finished Coruscant. I don't think they did things well enough to feel a real bond with Yuon thingy I don't even remember her whole name so that I really feel dedicated to save her. I wonder how they screwed up this that much when they wrote the relationship you have with Darth Zash or Tanathon as well. It's really almost like they thought "you jedi. you good. you do good. Why? You jedi. You good.... *repeat a lot*"
  5. And not being able to have my favourite companion accompany me because his role pisses me off? No way!
  6. Remember in the beginning of SoR, what the SI tells her about "letting her emotions go" etc when she has the vision of you being torn apart by some plant. You're clearly teaching her some serious sith stuff. I mean, she at the very least is not following jedi teachings anymore. Also her stuff of reciting sith and jedi codes side by side etc , she questions both orders on some matters...and most of all she doesn't leave you when you go destroy Tython's temple and if you want she accompanies you kick some jedi *** without even giving any sign of protestation. So yeah, she fits more a "Ls" sith but I think that's what is great, nicer siths can get along with Ashara while others will go for Xalek without having any of them being a *********** caricature of light sider or dark sider. So I can't complain about the whole thing. Going through the conversations trying to convince her to let a bit more of her jedi thing go was fun and I hope to get her back soon. All in all I found her personality interesting and she kinda had an influence on my Sith who thought a bit about some of her questioning of the sith order and made her soften up a bit (well, at least she stopped zapping people for the lelz of seeing them convulsing and go "OUUUH AAAAAH OOOOH AAAAH").
  7. I don't spacebar after the first as I don't spacebar when I replay through kotor. Next. Omg ONE mmo not focusing on pvp! It's unacceptable! Now on to the fun part. The game got worse in YOUR opinion. Personally I've never been that happy. And Omg demanding a public apology who do you think you are lol this is priceless. In the bottom of my heart, I feel I'm having fun like never before in an mmo. I'm not a gaming soldier, I play to have fun, not to feel proud of some achievement. I prefer to achieve stuff irl. I play hard games like DodonPachi in my spare time too, so no didn't get used to that. The gameplay is good as it is. They listened to the majority which happen being NOT hardcore MMO'ers. I said it and I repeat it : this game will NEVER be a full-fledged mmo because of the strong fanbase who come from kotor and not from the mmo players. In fact, the mistake of BW has been to turn Kotor 3 in an mmo because of EA's fixation on "hurrr people want multiplayer gââââh". I didn't ask for multiplayer and I usually don't enjoy it because of the usually toxic communities(hence why you won't see me on Battlefront for exemple). Now you have multiplayer content, stuff on hard mode AND solo content. Don't take away my solo content because you want yet another mmo focus on pvp. There are enough of these.
  8. That's the BEST IDEA I've read in all these threads about "bwaaah OP partners" "BWAAAH Heroics don't force to group with me anymore" blablabla
  9. May I kindly remind you that many people came here because of the kotor side of this game and not the mmo one? If you want a pure mmo, swtor is certainly not the place to go. No no NO. The opposing team is there. Mobs. They're still there. They still hit. What we propose you (and what I do when I feel spicing up things a bit) is giving yourself a handicap. It's not that terrible.
  10. There obviously are many weirdos out there because BW obviously focus on solo stuff now. Just saying...
  11. This couldn't be stressed enough. Swtor is the one and only mmo where the main focus is story and where you don't have difficulty to find decent enough rpers to have some rp session when you feel like to do so because they don't have to hide in fear of being annoyed by a horde of jerks going "*** r u krazy lol rofl hahaha". The only one mmo where I can chose my missions based on what I imagine to be my character's motivations etc. The only one mmo where I can play a short time everyday and still uncover a bit of what happens next and consider reaching end game before the next 10 years. THE ONLY ONE! So could rpers and people looking for multiplayer story-driven rpg have their haven for once? You have tons of games to chose from. We have only one (at least as far as I know). And this is why I can get a bit aggressive towards people trying to turn this game into another Wow. There are tons of that around. Thanks.
  12. *runs around with a cardboard painted with "THE GAME IS DYYIIIING" and ringing a bell* Hear ye hear ye, the servers are dyiiiii......wait , why do I do that instead of playing? I queue for entering the server.
  13. You must be one of those guys who post mods at 25k on GTN while others sell it all at 60K minimum to be still that poor. Also, people who are actually on the level to take ressources on Corellia must be happy not having max levels selfishly genociding the whole area. Just saying... Seriously with the new crafting system I multiplied my income by 5 at least. And this without annoying lower levels stealing their mobs etc or doing heroics. In fact I must have done 5 heroics all in all since 4.0 launch Also , you hate story? What the hell are you doing on a game which main selling point is story and doesn't have any groundbreaking gameplay whatsoever!? Oo
  14. Something you don't get : - SWTOR is based on KOTOR universe , which were VERY successful single player games. - Bioware decides for some reason that the next stuff linked to Kotor should be an mmo instead of a single player game. - TONS of players who wanted a Kotor 3 and NOT an mmo pop up in SWTOR. - Endless war between "True MMO'ers" and soloers ensue. If you think Swtor is your regular mmo you must be on shrooms. It became more like an rpg with mmo elements than the inverse because of that kotor fanbase which is there since the beginning and will ALWAYS be there. There is ONE game like that on the market, you have TONS of MMOs which will cater to you in terms of raids, pvp etc. Stop whining. Seriously, try to launch a conversation about kotor on general. You'll see how many people are here for this game and not for the mmo part.
  15. Because even if the grind doesn't reach korean level, it's still grind.
