  1. This just happened to me. I can't find any info regarding how to fix this. Submitted an in game bug report. I really don't want to do this flashpoint over.
  2. It's not a matter of DS vs LS. If you let Darth wosname go from the holocron he's gone. If you keep him, he becomes your healer companion in this fight. K
  3. Crew skills are not extinct. I was having a problem using the icon to bring up the crafters/gathers, but using B works. Looks like tomorrow's patch might fix this issue. K
  4. Ok, thanks. I thought that's what you meant but wanted to be sure. And they say communication is a dying art. K
  5. I have a sharpshooter too but I don't seem to have "shield probe" or "entrench". Could you be referring to something else? Thanks.
  6. I used B and the crew showed up, then I used the icon and the still showed up. So maybe it's just a graphic glitch or something. Anyway, thanks HelinCarnate for the tip. K
  7. Thanks. I hadn't thought to try that.
  8. And yet the blog about the new update has a section on crew skills being increased to 600 and new harvesting nodes for grade 10 materials on Zakuul, as well as grade 10 mats. So I'm thinking this might be just a glitch requiring a patch in the next day or so. But I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one seeing this as I have ticket in on some of my Absorb Augments not reverse engineering to the Advanced mats when they should. K
  9. So I downloaded the new update for KotET. Have run one character up to chapter V, and no crew skills have shown up. I logged in another character who is not all the way through KotFE, and not only are there no skills, none of my companions show up in the list. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks, K
  10. For the past several days I have been crafting base mats in all my crafters and reverse engineering them to get the advanced level mats. Tonight I logged into my Armortech and started crafting basic augments. I have done that with some and so have some advanced augment mats so I know I should be able to do this. But when I craft a basice augment that I don't have the advanced mat for I get the message that no reverse engineering is available. This has happened across several basic mats at different levels, and only with the Armortech, and it appears that only Absorb augments. My Synthweaver and Armstech worked just fine across all levels, and I have all the advanced mats for augments they can craft. For the record these augments are Absorb 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, and 28. I have searched Google and have found some threads on Reddit regarding this problem, but no solutions. Some folks have even put in tickets in game and were told erroneously that we can no longer reverse engineer out own crafted items. This is obviously wrong as I've been doing it all week across all my crafters, up until now with the Armortech. I have searched the forums here but have found no threads on this and no bug reports. Is anyone else having this problem? Is tech support aware of the problem and are they working on fixing it? Korrwyn
  11. Disclaimer: I don't know if this forum is the appropriate forum for this question, but frankly I didn't see any of the others being more appropriate. If the moderators would let me know one way or the other I'd appreciate it, just to clear up any confusion I may have and to point me to the appropriate forae. Thanks. Korrwyn
  12. My guess is that the story has been leading to a combining of the Jedi and Sith ideals of the Force. No matter which side you play the opposite side is doing something wrong. The Alliance has combined the physical aspects of the two factions, and now I think the story is leading to the Force being combined. Add to that the fact that both Odessan and Zakuul are the only two planets where the Force is in balance, or so Satele and Marr say. Just a thought. I like your description above of the three options. Thanks for that. Since my characters are mostly DPS I chose Transcendence. Also based on my susppostion stated above I have always chosen Marr and Shan together rather than Jedi or Sith alone. We'll see what happens later on. Next up, creating a level 60 character that I can give wholly to Valkorian just to see how that plays out. K
  13. Yesterday I ran the Frontal Assault Solo mode flashpoint in Shadow of Revan. I have run this one before in the same mode with no problems. However when I finished and used the Exit Flashpoint beacon that shows up when you've done talking to the two fleets, it put me back at the Rishi village and the flashpoint was queued up again as if I hadn't run it at all. Now I haven't started it again, I am reluctant to do so, so I am asking if anyone else has been having problems with this flashpoint since the new update. Thanks in advance. K
  14. So it's a guild thing? I've only managed to get a couple of my toons in the guilds my friends have. No one online often enough and I can't log into my own account twice to bring my own toons in.
  15. Craftquest? Am I missing something here?
  16. CaptainRogue (in blue) responded: 1. What I want to know is how are these people doing this? They have numerous alts doing the same skills. Or they store up a bunch then sell. As they sell they restock so it just is a never ending process. This makes the most amount of sense. 2. Do they have two dozen toons all doing gathering? Could be. Or could just be a few toons with the same skills. That's not taking into consideration the Jawa Junk that people have stored that's amassed a ton. That alone can give a lot of mats. I have never seen where to get the Jawa Junk in any quantity to be useful. But then I may not be playing the right areas. 4. Are they spending all their time in Yavin 4 slicing? How would spending all the time in Yavin, slicing help them? What item is it you're seeing tons of? Sending toons out on missions all the time costs credits. There has to be a steady supply of those so slicing credit boxes on Yavin would help since it has the highest yield boxes. Thanks for your responses. Most helpful o_a
  17. I have on occasion had to buy crafting materials on GTN. A few times recently I have seen someone selling multiple lots of a given material (call it lots of 10 each though I recall one person having larger numbers in each lot) in such quantities that his sale of that one material covers almost two pages of the GTN. What I want to know is how are these people doing this? Do thay have two dozen toons all doing gathering? Could he or she be retraining all two dozen to the same gathering skills and just running them while a few crafters are making money selling crafted items? Are they spending all their time in Yavin 4 slicing? I'd love to fill up my inventory with crafting material as I am constantly crafting tools and armor for my new toons. So, what's the deal? How is it done? Thanks. o_a
  18. Within the last week or so all Critical Augments except Crit Aug 40 and Adv Crit Aug 40 are showing Endurance and Power instead of Endurance and Critical stats. This is across the board for all Critical Augments except 40 even as seen on GTN and not just in the inventory of my Synthweaver and other characters. These stats (End and Pwr) match exactly the stats shown by Overkill Augments. I need to gear up my characters with Crit Augs but am reluctant to use them now as I suspect they will affect the wrong character stat and are just not a graphic glitch. Please look into this. Thanks. Korrwyn
  19. Anything below Augment 40. All other augments are showing Power.
  20. Has anyone else reported seeing Critical augments suddenly showing stats for Power instead of Critical? K
  21. Interesting. When I occasionally look at how something looks on my character with Ctl-left click, it shows him wielding two sabers. This is, however not always the case and sometimes he's shown with only one. Also one of the passive skills he's learned is single saber proficiency. So I am now wondering based on what you guys are saying if the show option is merely having a glitch when it shows two sabers. Curious. Thanks.
  22. Apparently not anymore since the latest release. Lots of changes occurred with Knights of the Fallen Empire. This is apparently one of them. K
  23. Hi all. So I've created a new character and as the subject says he's a Jedi Knight Guardian. I noticed right off the off hand was open to general. I am running this one as a DPS Focus, but I'm wondering if it is more beneficial to have two sabers vs. the focus. I have six crafters and have been keeping his gear up as he levels (he's at 32 right now). I've got a saber in inventory for his off hand from my artificer, but he would loose some accuracy if I swap it out with the focus. Not much and the loss can easily be compensated for with augments in the saber and one piece of armor. Would appreciate your thoughts on the subject. Thanks. Korrwyn
  24. I have been focusing on crafting with six characters running the gamut of all crafting and gathering skills. I am putting all items gathered into the legacy hold but am running out of room with only five bays. Is there a plan for expanding the legacy hold?
