  1. It's a good thing you started this thread, because this is a brand new opinion that hasn't been expressed at all in any of the other hundreds of pages on this topic.
  2. Man, that was a quick bump of your own thread. Let me help you out: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=641542
  3. You're right about that. The amount of witch huntery and self-righteousness in these posts is an equally scary insight into people's minds. I particularly like the ones who refer to it as "criminal activity". Let the exploiters take their lumps and move on. Those of you crowing your egocentric blather about how good and pure you are because you would NEVER do such a thing are simply seeking that cookie being talked about in this thread in a different way.
  4. Honestly, what the hell kind of groups are you all running with? Not the high and mighty, OP, because I doubt anyone like that will ever be satisfied with their group regardless of the circumstance. But seriously, even when I'm tanking for a PUG hardmode FP the group either falls into the "Facerolling Content Like It Is 20 Levels Below Us" category or the "The Pointy End Of My Gun Keeps Shooting Me In The Face Hur Hur Hur" category. In the first case, feel free to stun and CC away the day, but in the end it's not really doing anything. In the second case, no amount of CC in the universe is going to help. Outside of Ops, PvP, and Soloing, CC is incredibly situational and only rarely makes or breaks a run.
  5. Hay gais, when I logged in last night there were 137 people in fleet. I had a buddy of mine log into a different server and there was only 128 on his so mine is the most populated server. Fact.
  6. Sorry, you can't legitimize bad statistical data by adding anecdotal data on top of it. His chart is literally a one time sampling with numbers completely unknown past 100 and not including anything other than level 60 characters. For gods sake, he even states the fallacy right there.
  7. I'm sorry, are you all seriously accepting this as a legitimate estimate of server populations?
  8. Also, I'm not sure what server you're on, but I would strongly suggest that you get into a good Guild that runs Operations on the regular. PuGging Operations can, at times, be full of fail. And it's better to learn with a tolerant group than to throw yourself into the fire with a bunch of people you don't know. This is especially true if you are a tank or healer.
  9. Not saying that there aren't bugs in this fight, but instant red crosses are easily avoidable if the tank knows what they are doing and so is boss not returning to the tank.
  10. Dude. I'm just pointing out that twice in this thread you said that the 3.0 patch notes said leveling would be easier. They never said that anywhere. There was one mention of the fact that Troopers/Bounty Hunters would have it a bit easier under the discipline system. Just like you said everyone was having a horrible leveling experience which is also clearly not true from this thread. Make your point with facts and not made up stuff that you think must be true because you sort of remember it that way or it's been your experience.
  11. The word "easier" appears just once in the 3.0 patch notes. (my emphasis) Seriously, stop just making stuff up.
