  1. Character limits go up, basically every account class will see it's base limit doubles, so F2P - will go to 4 (from 2) Pref - goes up to 12 (from 6) Sub - raised to 24 (from 12) Source: Message from Eric Musco
  2. From what I gathered, subscribers can activate and play as many characters as they have created before the merge, but not make any new characters beyond the (current single-server) limit. So they could play their 260 characters, but not create any new. Preferred can only activate and play upto their current limit.
  3. Got the answer through reddit, in short, for preferred accounts the active character cap remains the same, so if the total amount of characters from merged servers exceeds the current cap you'll be stuck with some inactive characters.
  4. We wont, they had their chance with KotFE but failed. Even with the same plot, each character's personality could have been preserved in the dialogues for little extra cost, but they didn't even manage to do that.
  5. It is almost zero story, not exactly zero, but almost zero.
  6. I don't like a server named after him either, probably none of the characters appearing in the class game should be used. Malgus is for the empire what Satele is to the republic, the one you frequently interact with for flashpoints and operations. He is a to the point, rational and not a lunatic kind of Sith. There is no other empire then the empire as it's depicted in the game
  7. Yeah, that's in the FAQ, but it doesn't answer the question of how many toons you can have activated once your account becomes preferred.
  8. What will be the (active) character limit for accounts in preferred (previous subscription) status? FAQ only mentions subscriber and free-to-play
  9. Well, problem is that the republic poster guys are, with a few exceptions, not as likable as their empire counterparts. Nobody gives a damn about Sareesh dying, but Malgus and Marr ... We care about these characters so we're more moved by their misfortune. If anything, more empire characters dying then republic is an indication that the empire has 'better' characters ...
  10. Nope, there is no canon Inquisitor outlander. The instant 60's are not canon, they are defaults, they are the result of one particular set of choices, just as any other character you (can) make. There's only 'need' for a canon outlander when the story continues, or is referenced, in other stories. Until then, and until that particular author makes the choice, there is no canon outlander.
  11. Trailer was good because it focused on the two brothers and the dynamic of their love in contrast with their cold father, adding the sister would have diluted and weakened it.
  12. That was your mistake, right there: "reading the forums". Don't. Read. The. Forums. Go away, leave this place and enjoy the game.
  13. If it's dark environment I might not even notice other players when I have nametags disabled.
  14. They'll probably ninja-loot the diner table and be back in the game in no time.
  15. It's the behavior you just claimed people should get used to that is destructive to MMO's.
