  1. lets be honest, as much as I like support roles, most content dont even need it now, even if the game was made with the Trinity in mind. Having more dps "hybrid" classes could be fun. Id take a dps class that heal the group the most damage they do , a kind of Leech / Syphon healer like in TSW or nightblade healer in ESO , like an Anni Mara that can heal the group for real XD Of course that would throw a wrench in the balance and make some dedicated role obsolete, but one can dream XD
  2. A new class would be great ! And a pretty popular MMORPG direction that make keep subbing / buying the thing on the Market a good $$ flow for devs. Make it a class that would have access to all 3 roles (wishful thinking haha) . Having a new healer or tank class would help filling those roles more easily for group content. Or add some new advanced class trees for existing classes (also, wishful thinking) ( Or some new class specific story quests. Like side quest -adventures that feel like they are worth playing on different toons, not just Major world-changing storylines where your class just add a flavor to *some* dialogs but it dont really matter ... I want to go on undercover missions with my agents, or do smuggling shenanigans, or searching for artifacts with my force users.. not just be that generic epic big damn hero thing ... and I would care way more about story if it was the case, and play the new content more than once..) The new 6.0 added some new direction in gameplay, sure, but it doesnt remove the fact we are playing the same old classes for years with a lack of skill customization (rip skill trees) . Some new blood would definitely help keeping players interest thats for sure I know it might not be realistic, but why the hell not, its the suggestion thread, who knows XD
  3. What about having to unlock all datacrons on each toon ? No heroics teleport options? Having to go back to the spaceport every time you need to fly to another planet? Those changes were really a matter of QoL, like all the fast movement/ qt options Steve cited. I must admit I cared more about my companions when I had to outfit them so they would perform, and were role-locked XD ... I also cared more about planetary quests when I had to do all the quests on a planet just so I would be high level enough for the next planet my story mission send me to. I wouldnt have leveled so many alts if that was still the case tho lol
  4. Please comment if you agree or not to these suggestions ! What id REALLY like to see : ++++ Gear and abilities Loadout . Saving different gear and utilities configuration to make an easier respec between specs/roles, or for pvp vs pve games, or just, switching gear in general. With all that new 6.0 gear, this is becoming essential ++++ BEING ABLE TO BUY MORE INVENTORY SPACE!! ++++ Add the Cooldown Text option on Charge-like abilities instead of the vague clock animation. ++++ Secondary DPS target dummy module , like the secondary Healing module, so you could test DOT spreads and AOE abilities on 2-8 dummies. Make it easier to test all the new set bonuses and tacticals, especially since a lot of them add AOE damage nice to have : + The option to pull only one piece of armor from a set saved in Collection instead of having to pull the whole set into your inventory + The option to lock items in your inventory so you dont deconstruct / sell them by accident + Put the Toys / Recharge energy in the Abilities panels like the Mounts and the Pets so its not taking precious inventory space for nothing !!! + Toggle Hood like you can toggle Headpiece ON / OFF !! Toggle Cape ! (that one is wishfully thinking haha) + More info on the loading screen about the characters ? Guild, conquest points, crew skills, renown level, what chapter they are on ? .. Everything that could save us the time to have to load to each characters or keep a spreadsheet just to keep track A lot more ideas (and some that are not new on that forum, since years) , but its enough atm
  5. Bump. Please Fix. Its been 4 freaking months since its bugged . Its a pain on heat management, and Im sure its super easy to fix. Just link the damn actual cooldown to his tooltip value. Come on, give mercs and mando a little love here. Tbh this is pissing me off so much, i dont even look at my IO merc . Yes, you can go around it, but more than 30 sec difference is huge for a spec that rely on TSO for energy management as part of their actual rotation.

Well I dont know if it was his case, but one thing I find dubious (that actually create those kind of problems) is the fact that automatically , if your advanced class can fill 2 roles, you are queued as DPS/HEAL or DPS/TANK , and by default, will slot you into the support role of the 2 . So you have low levels / new players / inattentive people getting slotted in roles they shouldnt or are not specced to do , which is stupid . Like my sister, a new player , queued for her first flashpoint ever as a baby level 15 scoundrel dps , got slotted as an healer automatically, and then got yelled at for not healing. In freaking vet Athiss, with kolto stations -_- I mean, even if she wanted to heal, at level 15 you have only the most basic of heals so yeah, not that efficient anyway lol. Thing is, she never wanted to queue again because she really didnt like her experience, unfortunately :/
  7. YES !!!!! +1 especially with the addition of all these sets / tacticals that you might want to switch too. PVE / PVP layout too, for utilities (and sometimes gear) Lot of ppl dont bother respec-ing just because of that im sure
  8. Well, I know you are ironic, but thats actually helping the point I was making ty lol . I dont see why not wanting to do ranked for these reasons is less valid than others, even if you think they are not. I agree 8x8 and 4x4 should be in different queues, or have the option to be separately selectables. Personally I do like playing objectives more than deathmatches. But well, its an old issue and Im sure its not the first time its brought around.
  9. Jumpy-leapy kind that doesnt give the time to the people behind to catch up / heal up / get energy back (and that now have to run super slow because -in combat-) , bonus points if they are squishy dpses (not using dcds) that almost die because the healer was still way out of range . Lol .
  10. unless you enjoy healing your comp in dps spec, l always found doing story as an healer is a pain ... Especially if you have aggro on the enemies and half the time you cant use your backstab -_- Possible, but longer :3 Positive point, you can stealth pass most of the thrash mobs tho XD
  11. Fixed mastery , endurance and power numbers dont work, like in gear, relics, stims, etc. % mastery works tho. By example, the Tactical Overload abilities gives that +20% mastery, the 5% mastery from the set should work as well. Tactican was proved to have the better output for healers, and the safest option. After that, its your choice if you want to experiment with other sets. share the results if you do Btw the Agressive Treatement set *could* be an option, depending of circonstances. It heals for more than it does dps, in hps numbers its between recup nanotech and kolto waves, and its working on 8 ppl , you can leave it there and move or heal on top of it, compared to the waves where you have to stay still and cast. Its also an energy free aoe heal. I find it fun in fights where i dont have much to heal, fps, etc , because it does some dps, stun weak mobs, and heal. But as much as its fun, in harder content, tactician is still better tho.
  12. operative or scoundrel healer. Because I like healing, I like stealth, and I like rogues....In which other game can you heal, stealth AND backstab / kick your opponent in the balls ? XD Everytime I try to heal in other games, im missing my stealthy healers of swtor
  13. So, tech frags are legacy, the gear is legacy, is there a reason we cant buy items for, lets say an operative, when on a bounty hunter toon ? So Im questing on a toon, Im full on frags, but I need to gear another toon. Now we have to : log off, buy the piece with the toon you want to gear, and log back to your questing toon. That would be convenient to be able to do it from any toon, and I dont see why not. Ty!
  14. what if the ranked queue doesnt pop because ... People dont feel like playing ranked ? A lot of ppl are playing warzones casually to have fun and deathmatch around, its why its always popping, otherwise if they want challenge and be competitive they would queue ranked. Does that make sense?
  15. Certain abilities with charges dont have the correct cooldown. Thermal Sensor Override is getting more than a dozen seconds longer than its intended cooldown. Its noticeable and a pain in the *** for all specs needing that ability . The worse thing is, the only way you can actually get 2 charges of TSO is if you take the related bonus set for it, which nobody does, because not only its lacklusting, its also bugged and not working correctly -_- I'm sure there are other instances of abilities with charges having longer cooldown than intended. I know its a different problem than the OP's one, but its related to the fact these abilities with charges seems a lot buggy
  16. That makes me think, its the same for all classes actually. Thing is, vet fps are so easy than all the tanks that dont taunt, dpses that charge ahead with little consequence, healers that don't know about their cleanses and get "carried" by koltos , they can still get by and faceroll the fps and it can still be ok, and even have fun doing it. Though it doesn't make players conscious of their roles, and it shows in harder content, mm fps and ops. Gearing these days encourage people to do master mode flashpoints, which is great in a way, but in another, everybody and their uncle now want to do masters for gear. As much as we defend the healers, I have to admit ive seen more than one healer fail to cleanse the tank in the droid boss of mm hs these days, which resulted in the tank's death. And if by addition the tank is also a fank well ... you are screwed lol
  17. well the point is, when people as, dps, stop dpsing to run to kolto for nothing, they dont kill the boss, and the healer is left ... dpsing. Which doesnt make sense lol. And yeah, the reason healers can get pissy, as an healer you do ok-ish dps but your whole kit is oriented around healing, so if you cant heal you are kindof useless lol. Kolto spamming isnt really fun for healers, its made to *remplace* them in case of a group without one. Its almost insulting at times, like the group dont have confidence you can actually heal them. But yeah, again, I understand the compulsion to click it , and I think its mostly an habit most people have and they dont even think about it much. About practicing ... Lets be honest, leveling as an healer sucks. Unless you feel like healing your comp in dps spec (its as boring as it sounds), the interesting part comes when you can actually heal in group content. Vet fps is for most of the healers their first experience in group healing in swtor, and if not, the way they can learn how to better play their classes, abilities, see the efficiency of their set bonuses, stats, etc. As a dps would like to test their gear and rotations, or the tank want to know how much aggro he can hold, how much damage he can take. Letting the healers "practice" like you said, to a reasonable point, will make better healers in the end than not .. ok //rant finished
  18. I would really like to see a secondary target DPS dummy module, like the healer's one, but to have up to 8 dps targets with the dummy in the Rishi stronghold or players's ships. This expansion brought a lot of AOE choices, dots spreads, etc , but they are hard to test in a controlled environment. Im sure it wouldnt be a hard thing to implement, please make this an option !!!
  19. this, and being able to buy pieces for any discipline / classes at the vendors. Because , worse than having to stop what Im doing to buy a bonus set piece with my tech frags, is having to log out and relog on the toon I want to gear just to buy a piece ...
  20. I havent seen that addressed a lot on these forums, but its confirmed by a lot of people Ive been playing with. Since Thermal Sensor Override ( or pubside Reserve Powercell ) abilities got the charge-like style animation, their cooldown got bugged . At level 75, its supposed to be 1min30 at 0 alacrity, the exact same as Vent Heat / Recharge Cells. Its also what is written on the tooltip. In reality, its lasting 2 minutes ( which was its value at level 70 with no alacrity ...) Level 75, with 15% alacrity and no utilities selected .   21. I find myself using Continuous fire a lot in mobs/aoe situations (holy sweet yellow damage numbers ) but I find it risky to use it in a long fight ... Ill have to try your Sweeping Blaster "clipping" method, would take a while to get used to tho :3
  22. Just want to share a personal pet peeve : Kolto station spams in vet fps. I get it , most people are used to run vet fps with no healers as squishie dpses, hence are used to spam the station frenetically at every occasion. But when you have an healer, and even better, a tank, can you let them do their jobs ? AND DO YOURS, which is DPSing. We are there to test our gear , our roles, practice in group content, and hopefully get better. Tanks dont need squishies that jump in front of them, as healers don't need MELEE dps to STOP DPSING to go run and hit the kolto station because they lost 5% health. I know a lot of healers that are very frustrated by that and either stop queueing for vets, or just tag along looking pretty, because, meh. What is the point lol.
  23. Im leaving that here ... https://pasteboard.co/IGhRFRM.png In Scyva sm, with the health buff, people were getting up to 240% health bars, in that picture , "only" 213% ... The extended health bars are absolutely ridiculous and took like, half my screen, overlapping themselves XD I agree this 100%+ shouldnt be a thing. I dont care if people have veteran's edge stacks or not, give us at least a max health value to work towards. It took me a while at first to realize I had to heal ppl to 130% instead of 100%. The contrary is also possible : I got an underleveled person in an operation being locked at 90% health, so on my frame he was ever-lacking 10% health XD (which is equally annoying lol) I have a tactical that gives crits heal when ppl have less than 50% health lol. But its not 50% on the health bar, its 50% of their max health, which is all over the place, so its another thing to keep track about. I wish they would fix it, yeah we can go around it , but its a stupid change imo >_<
