  1. Hi everyone! I've been playing this game for a few years now (just got back from a long hiatus) and despite my best efforts I still find myself unable to settle on a main RP character. This is not because I dislike any particular play style, since I can genuinely enjoy anything. The problem lies in the class/specialization system. Every time I play an RPG, whether alone or as an MMO, I try to create a character that matches up to my own personality as much as possible. I do RP but it's usually with friends and not on dedicated RP servers. Anyway, I know this is probably really weird and I may be posting on the wrong forum-please tell me if this is so-but I'd like some help choosing a class just based off of aspects of my personality. - I hate anything social, especially when strangers are involved. I have a close-knit circle of friends that I sometimes talk to for hours and sometimes don't speak to for days. -I dislike confrontation and fighting and prefer to avoid it. -I'm a huge introvert. I spend most of my time playing PC games(mostly fantasy and sci-fi RPGs, some turn-based strategy, watching cartoons, or reading. I don't leave my room unless it's to go to class or visit a friend. -I'm an atheist, but I have a fascination with aspects of the divine, the infinite, mysticism, and theology. I participate in philosophy and history debates often and sometimes facilitate my own-even if it means arguing with myself. -I like the idea of helping (some) people, but I like to devote time to solving the problem at its root, rather than spending time and energy on temporary solutions. -I love nature but it does not love me:) -I love to work alone or in small groups of people I trust(and I don't trust easy) -I love power but hate leadership, mostly because I lack people skills/charisma -I'm fairly lazy unless something really interests me. -I get all A's and B’s but it takes a lot of time for me to learn some material(I'm a physics major) -I generally like to push the limits of what is considered possible and hate when people tell me that it can't be done-this is usually is related to tech Wow that's a lot. Hope it wasn't too much. But yeah, that’s it. If you have any input, please share:) Oh yeah, and faction doesn't matter. Both have their flaws and virtues.
  2. I can't even play the Consular story line anymore because of the armor. Every time you get a cloak that covers your belt, the game fails to take this into account and thus your lightsaber is left hanging through a piece of cloth. I can't go into a cutscene without smacking my head and exiting because it looks so ridiculous. It would be a lot better if lightsabers were held elsewhere, or you could select where it is positioned.
  3. I have to say, I'm looking forward to Rebels. I know a lot of guys would rather have their balls gnawed on by a drunken rakghoul than watch it, but I prefer not to judge before seeing the show itself. Clone Wars didn't really get going until the final two or three seasons. That being said, perhaps Disney will do what Lucas did with Jar-Jar in the prequels and adapt to fan criticism of the god-awful "Skyguy" and "Hutts with antebellum Southern accents" days of the early Clone Wars. Maybe then Rebels will start of like the ending seasons instead of restarting the hate-to-love cycle that the Clone Wars embraced. That's the hope at least. However, just to clarify, here are some things I don't want in Rebels- 1. Misunderstood teenagers saving the galaxy 2. Hutts speaking Basic 3. Twisting-around of Star Wars lore (I'm looking at you Morriband) 4. Preteens with tough-guy attitudes 5. Girl character who's femaleness is pointed out by sexist male who she then beats up 6. VIP's, rulers, and senators going on commando raids (Vader exempted) 7. Males being almost completely incompetent (I liked this when I was younger, but now it's just idiotic to have female characters being the only rational members of the group) 8. Making battles between Force-wielders and non-Force wielders completely one-sided And that's about it. Some of these weren't in Clone Wars, I just don't like them in any form of media (especially Star Wars-related material). Was this a giant list of complaints? Yes. But that's what forums are for- asking, insulting, and complaining
  4. I've always wanted to have a male character with long (around shoulder-length) hair, but the only long hairstyle for males in the game works horribly with almost every outfit, since it overlaps anything with detail around the neck (it also gives the impression that the character is going bald, since the buzzcut/five'o'clock hairstyle shows that the hairline is not where it should be.) Something like the default Dragonborn haircut on the Cartel market would be perfect.
  5. What does it matter what Jango brought to the table? Tools such as whip chords and flamethrowers, when put into context against a Jedi or Sith, are just physical equivalents of the Force powers Jedi can wield. Jango wasn't even trying to kill Obi-Wan. His primary goal at that point was escaping with Boba. He had no time to deal with a Jedi he clearly felt wasn't worth his time.
  6. I think it may be(at least remotely) sexism. If you think about males and females in combat roles, and consider that the companions in the game are pretty much always in phenomenal shape, males are usually stronger. The Force acts almost like a great equalizer, since it is based on the number of midichlorians rather than physical strength. Since midichlorians do not discriminate based upon gender, a female could easily be stronger in the Force than a male counterpart. For example, say I placed Mako and Andronikos up against each other. No weapons, nothing in the immediate area to improvise, just raw strength. Who wins? Now let's say I put Jaesa up against Xalek. It's a bit more difficult to call, isn't it? (If you want to argue about that fight do it with other people somewhere else)
