  1. As soon as I got Darth Marr as my Sniper, I left the KOTFE phase so I can run around and do stuff with a Dark Council member as a comp. It's not much of a comp though since you can't really talk to him or have him on your ship, but it's something.
  2. Dye it brown and you've got a Sith Brown Recluse
  3. This morning I loaded up SWTOR and I couldn't log into the servers because they all disappeared. But the it works now, so no worries.
  4. This morning I was unable to log in for some reason. Was anything about that posted anywhere?
  5. I don't know about you, but to me the Sith Empire seems to be moving away somewhat from the institutionalized speciesm that used to be more prevalent. Houk and Cathar Imperial officers on Makeb, Neimoidian medics (IIRC), some Sith Purebloods like Darth Serevin would agree. Or what you could do is make Kashyyyk a Republic exclusive planet, and compromise by adding Dathomir for the Sith Empire.
  6. If anyone wants Imp officer outfits without needing to pay millions of credits for a eliminator outfit, I can craft some Imp officer gear for your outfit designer. I would offer the Trimantium headgear (Imperial scout helmet without the goggles) but everyone else is already selling those for low prices.
  7. I just started a healer Jedi Sage with a lvl 60 character token. I've played as a Madness Sorcerer, but the only experience I've had as a healer was as a Scoundrel on a different server.
  8. Believe it or not, Id love to get a secondary white dye for my Sniper decked out in Riot Queller gear (to look like a Imp scout). Problem is it's rediculously out of my price range on the Shadowlands Server where I'm on in the GTN. Also I'd like to be able to buy mounts and toys individually instead of spending like someone with a gambling problem in hopes to get the specific items I'm after. Anybody who tells me that I'm misguided on the grounds that "RNG is exciting!" is probably nothing more than a greedy, aspiring sadist.
  9. What's wrong with being clean? And during the summer using no hot water can be therapeutic for those of us who are accustomed to temperate climates and not high temperatures.
  10. I'd love to see Kashyyyk added (along with several others), but maybe as a daily area like The Black Hole or Section X. The Rishii island on Rishi reminded me of Kashyyyk a little, but I want Kashyyyk. On a side note I was kinda upset Bowdaar uses a vibrosword instead of a bowcaster (Sniper Rifle?) that shoots green. He could have just been given a melee attack to go with typical ranged attacks.
  11. Imperial Trooper Armor because I can't have it.
  12. Just to be clear, the chest piece I'm looking for is NOT the CE Imperial Trooper Jacket or Volatile Shock Trooper Chestguard; it's an entirely different piece with control panels on the top plate and one with horizontal lights on the center one below. Here's a picture comparison: Korriban Sentry Armor https://www.dropbox.com/s/uypoa1obgl0l2to/korribansentry.jpg?dl=0 CE Imperial Trooper Armor https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/06/imperial-trooper/ImperialTrooperMaleClose_thumb.png So since they're different, could the Korriban (and Ilum) chestplate be added, or is it already accessable and I just missed out on some big secret?
  13. Make romanceable Dathomiran baby rancors happen! LOL Seriously though, some of the rancors from Dathomir are actually intelligent and thus sentient. Luke Skywalker met one named Tosh in the Legends http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tosh_(rancor)
  14. I'd love it if there was an Imperial Trooper avatar, or at least an Imperial Scout avatar.
  15. Instead of continuing the overarching "story", why not just add some planets and let them be just fluff? I admit, I was giddy to have seen Tatooine, Korriban, Nal Hutta, Ord Mantell, Dromund Kaas, Taris, Corellia, Ilum, the addition of Manaan (though disappointed at the lacking implementation) and Yavin 4. But being a fan of other Star Wars games, I'd love to see Dantooine, Abregado Rae, Jabiim, Thyferra, Kashyyyk, Wayland, Dathomir, Carida, Bonadan, Dac (AKA Mon Calimari), Ryloth, Naboo, Sullust, Bothawui, Byss, or Geonosis. In an RP sense, my Gunslinger is from Abregado Rae, my Vanguard is from Carida, and my Sniper is from Jabiim. After seeing those planets in Empire At War, I'd love to see some of them included more and more. Don't take what I'm saying as a burdening demand, but as an opportunity.
  16. I know, I need to get a full-time job too. I could use the money to get that Artifact Equipment Authorization...
  17. After reading the previous posts, I guess I should not have let myself be goaded by trolls in a veteran flashpoint on The Shadowlands server. Live and learn I guess. About a month ago I was in a pug for a veteran flashpoint with an all DPS group (red flag anyone?) and they were all using their speeders to avoid enemies, jump over obstacles in ways you aren't supposed to, and leaving people to die when they accidently cross a mob's line of sight. When we got to this one boss fight where I got killed, they taunted me, refused to revive me, and threatened to kick me for dying. I left and went through the mudslinging I (naïvely) engaged in the chat and ignored them all so I wouldn't get stuck with them again. I avoided Master flashpoint pugs because I was warned they're nothing but these kinds of people, but from what I've seen in the past 3 years Veteran flashpoint pugs aren't safe either anymore. This incident was just one example of the many times this happened this year until I gave up on pugs completely. I read somewhere that Imp players tend to be more likely to troll than Pubs. My main is an Imp (the one I did most pugs I got hostility with) so IDK if that's true. My pub toons are on a different server because I was F2P when I started playing this game. In the past few years, players like these were little more than outliers, but now I can't ever join a pug with ANY decent people. Not to mention this kind of hostility may be the nature of a rough & tumble internet, but this kind of attitude is what kills games. It happened with Quake 3's CPMA and COD,*and hopefully not the same way with SWTOR. People really should do everything they can to warn new players so they don't just give up on the game completely.
  18. I just got the Makeb Assault Armor, dyed it Deep Red & Black, and now it looks almost identical to the Korriban sentry armor. The only exception is the chestplate, which appears to be a red version of the CE Imperial Trooper Jacket. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uypoa1obgl0l2to/korribansentry.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/l2uohxuk7oopgbm/ilumguardsman.jpg?dl=0 Problem is the CE Imperial Trooper Armor (from what I've heard) cannot be dyed, and the Volatile Shock Trooper chestguard (even if I were to somehow obtain the money to get cartel packs to raise my Bounty Supply Company reputation) has obnoxious yellow lights. Especially on the crotch flap. I want this for my Sniper, so I can't use Lieutenant Pierce's chestguard (which lacks the crotch flap), so I ask: Is the Korriban sentry's armor obtainable somehow, somewhere with a misleading name or preview avatar, or am I not missing out on some big secret and the NPC's exclusively get it?
  19. Sooo, no raiding tomorrow at all... Welp, back to Quake 3 Arena!
  20. Especially if it's a really long cutscene that's full of misleading convo choices. I don't know which clown at BW or EA decided it was a good idea to make the convo choice different from what's actually spoken. The thing that really grated on my nerves was how my "fearsome" Sith lords were supposedly so powerful and independent, yet my SW and SI aren't allowed to kill off (or at LEAST replace) annoying disrespectful comps like Vette or Ashara Zavros, but I have to take them with me on my story missions. May as well be a cannon-fodder Imp soldier if I can't even do that, because I sure would have killed off Kaliyo as my Agent if the game allowed it. I'd keep them on the ship for crafting missions so I don't have to constantly put up with them, but getting their influence up to make them effective at crafting and gathering is a drag. Based on my experience, people do that either when they are farming LS/DS points for LS/DS exclusive gear (like relics), and there are people who are too stupid to figure out that their characters don't need to sell out to a false dilemma of pure lightsidedness/darksidedness (like how xLetalis does with his characters on YouTube).
  21. So far I seem to despise the vast majority of female comps that already are romance options. I Dislike: Vette, Ashara Zavros, Kaliyo Djannis (sometimes she's ok), Raina Temple, Akaavi Spar, Nadia Grell (based on stuff I've read & watched), and Jaesa Willsaam I can tolerate: Risha Drayen, Mako (usually), and possibly Kira Carson if I ever play a Jedi Knight. I know this comment is bound to get angry responses from Vette and Jaesa fans, but I don't care.
  22. IDK about you, but when I first started playing this game I chose a Sith Inquisitor instead of a Jedi like most people do. Most Star Wars games don't allow you to play as Sith (or any "villain" for that matter), so I wanted a change of pace. I also always felt that the Jedi were uptight puritans that didn't allow for any emotion or desire, and because I'm chaotic neutral in general I thought the Sith would be a better fit for me. What I found out was wheras being lightsided is lauded in the Jedi Order, being Dark sided is expected of you in the Empire. So some dark sided decisions were understandable on both factions, but most darkside decisions are either pointless or stupid. I can't tell you how many times I flipped out when I would get light sided points for literally doing NOTHING. The alternative was murdering whoever I happen to be working with (i.e. Lord Silthar, Thana Vesh, Captain of Black Talon). Even my lightsided Imperials on planets like Balmorra, Taris, and Correlia were forced into cognitive dissonance. I found it ironic when my Dark Council Sorc got threats from other Sith and even non-force users for questioning why we were trying to actively piss the Republic off. My Imps were able to push for some positive changes to the evil that the rest of the Empire was doing, and it got reprimands and even some murder attempts, yet approval from like-minded Sith. When I created my Imp toons, I wasn't in it for the cartoonish evil or even the denialism towards saying how "good" the Empire is. For my Sith it was "seeing the other side" and force lightning, and my Imperial Agent I wanted to use Interrogation Probe, Plasma Probe, and Orbital Strike so badly after mobs used those attacks on my Sorc countless times.
  23. My routine has been (with Elite bosses and up) 1-Leg Shot 2-Interrogation Probe 3-Plasma Probe 4-EMP Discharge 5-Explosive Probe 6-Series of Shots Because of the limited number of hotkeys, I tend to forget to use abilities like Dodge, Ballistic Shield, Laze Target, or Evasion. So I try to prioritize abilities.
  24. Yeah, that actually sounds better. I think this really should be implemented, and I'm happy to see I'm not alone in this!
  25. I'm sure a lot of people care about their stories being "enticing". However, you will be humbled at some point by a tough boss enemy or some other player matching or overshadowing you, making you realize that you're not the super-special prodigy the story makes you seem to be. That was one thing I liked about WoW was you were just some warrior/mage/archer/etc. just like any other unless you proved you were indeed special. Personally I don't think the self-esteem boost attempt works and I'd rather be some average grunt with cool abilities.
