  1. The mouse acceleration/responsiveness and ability delay issues ARE stopping me from playing. I've already cancelled my subscription and haven't been on in 2 days, and these 2 issues are the primary reason, with warzone performance being a close third.
  2. I've been trying to use Nadia since I got her. It just seems like I should have my padawan fighting alongside me. I'm Infiltration spec and I'm doing pretty decent with her. It's a little more downtime than with Tharan, but we kill faster too. I can even take on a lot of the elites by just popping the 50% defense boost and going all out dps. The key was upgrading her equipment. I think the light saber she started with had a top end lower than 300. I gave her one of my old moddable ones with some mods, and it's now got a 377 top end. (damage rating 108) I also gave her moddable chest, legs, and boots. When I check her stats, they're almost the same as mine. I still pull out Tharan and switch to Combat Technique for the really tough fights, but for most things Nadia is working out fine.
  3. Jedi Promulgator's Robe http://www.torhead.com/item/d5Q3Qac#screenshots;view:7692 It's a level 20 pvp item, and is fully moddable. I've worn it from 20 to 45, because the rest of the gear looks terrible. I'll probably wear it until I have the level 50 pvp robe.
  4. This works for left, right, and backwards, but not right click or forward. Right click still does nothing if ctrl is held down. Pressing ctrl-w turns on autorun, even with nothing bound to autorun, rofl. EDIT: Ok, I dont know what they've got going on here, but something is retarded with the ctrl key. I unbound everything that had ctrl in it's keybind, then bound ctrl-w, ctrl-a, ctrl-s, ctrl-d to forward, left, backward, and right. I tested it, and pressing ctrl-w turns on autorun and the rest work fine. I alt tabbed to write this reply, and then went back to the game. Now ctrl-w works fine, but ctrl-a is toggling ambience on and off. EDIT2: You have to hold ctrl-w to turn on autorun, not just tap it. Still, I don't have ctrl-w bound to autorun, so it shouldn't turn it on.
  5. This does nothing to fix the problem. I just went through and unbound anything that used ctrl. I still can't move/turn with WASD or the mouse while holding control. Also, for some reason using alt as a modifier give me a windows error sound. It wokrs, but it give me an error sound every time.
  6. My interrupt wouldn't work on him. (Mind Snap I think it's called) The stun and AOE knockback worked to interrupt though. Holiday (Tharan) works too I think.
  7. I know some people really hate having to wear a lower robe, but I sort of prefer the look over the pants I've seen. (and I play a dark side male character) The overall design for most of the gear though is really bad. Especially the hats. If it's not a circlet, it's not worth seeing. Ever.
  8. If I'm thinking of the same look you are, then that's the level 50 PvP gear. It comes in a few different colors. It's moddable, but not fully moddable. It's got some base stats, and then 2 mod slots. The base item has expertise on it though, so it's use in PvE would be limited.
  9. Yup. The only way I've managed to stay decent looking is by using moddable pvp gear. I used a brown hooded robe I got around 12, replaced it with the level 20 pvp robe, and then replaced that with the level 40 pvp robe. Nearly all other consular gear I've seen looks TERRIBLE.
  10. I'm using a registry edit to completely disable mouse acceleration in Windows 7, and still having this issue. I'm no programmer, but the fact that I've got it completely turned off in windows makes me think that Bioware has it's own software acceleration built into the game. I'm not sure what's causing it to feel so unresponsive, which is a separate issue from the acceleration. It seems like there's 3 issues going on here: 1. Sensitivity range is too high. Slower speed options should be available. 2. Mouse Acceleration. Most of us who understand what it is DO NOT WANT IT. 3. Mouse delay. This feels very much like running a game with Vsync on at a bad framerate. It should not be happening here, since I have Vsync off and am running in a Window.
  11. I found a way to lower the mouse sensitivity below what the in game option allows. I'm not sure about the Windows XP location, but for Windows 7, go to: C:\users\*username*\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings\ There should be an .ini file called Username_Account.ini For example, mine is called Fleshfeast_Account.ini Open that in Notepad and look for this line: Controls_CameraRotationSpeed = 0.10000000149 Change the number to something lower. This is the value it showed for me, and I had my in game setting all the way down to the lowest. I changed mine to 0.08000000149 and it feels about right. The acceleration is still a huge annoyance, but at least it's not so sensitive anymore.
  12. I just went through every single recipe in both my crafting window, and on the trainer. I checked ALL of the recipes, all the way up through max skill level. There are aim shields, and strength shields, but no willpower shields. So unless there are recipes to get/discover from somewhere else, then there are no craftable willpower shields in the game.
  13. I'm 100+ Artifice and wanted to make myself a shield generator. I thouroughly scanned my recipe list, and the recipe list on the trainer, and didn't not find a single shield generator with willpower. There are foci with willpower, but not shield generators. So I made a strength shield generator and am using that. Maybe Artifice gets some later, and I know I've seen some outside of Artifice. so far though, I can make none.
