  1. I've seen this happen on female body type 3 and male body type 1 as well. Please fix all body types
  2. I got the daily PO of defeat seat of the empire enemies. Yes, seat of the empire. Oricon, Taris, Yavin and Dantooine listed. I killed over 80 mobs on Taris (wasn't tracking but i counted them and went over 75 to be sure) before you took the servers down and nothing. Went back into the game after your hotfix, assuming it would work now. Well, it still doesn't track, it still doesn't stay tracked, but I trusted you did *SOMETHING* during that half an hour and killed another 80+ mobs, counting them one by one again. Still nothing. I don't care so much about the objective. It's just 3 points. But i've wasted so much time and mental energy on this for nothing not even knowing if it's working or not until I've massacred the planet. TL;DR: It's NOT fixed.
  3. Awesome! Just make sure you make the new Jedi Knight Revan's armor set fully dyeable before launch - you are still in time to fix it! At the very least, make the belt dyeable (it has very limited usability in other outfits if it's always gonna be brown) and the brown thingy in the lower robe so we can actually make it red! More player choices are always good!
  4. I agree. There were two things going on in my edits: first, I wanted to remain realistic, and realistically they have a history for not letting us dye metallic bits. This is a mistake but a forgivable one imo, I'd just replace the gloves, but I really need to dye the belt and lower robe And secondly, when I'm changing a color on photoshop, I'm too focused following the line of what I'm changing. The color between leather and metal was more different back then, before the tweak, so my mind just got distracted and skipped that bit but yes I definitely agree and would like to dye everything
  5. I have to fully agree with this statement. However, two wrongs don't make a right. And they seem to be learning from their mistake. The latest dyes they are making have much nicer colors but I agree that most of the older browns (or any other color for that matter) were horrid because they were too saturated and didn't feel realistic. But compensating the lack of good dyes with static colors is not the solution. More player choices are always good, they just need to provide good dye options along with making everything dyeable. As for the OP, well I agree with everything. Lately it seems the devs feel people won't buy a lightsaber if it doesn't have weird effects on the blade. Well we miss the normal blades! We want cool hilt designs without giving up a classic lightsaber look. And for something like Revan's saber, something that is already a classic, you're kind of breaking the look people would want to go for. But yes, I definitely agree that special blade effects should ALWAYS be optional, not just on this one. And yes, please, make everything dyeable!
  6. Oh, I knew they had tweaked it! For the worse, actually. I wanted to dye it, sure, but I did think the original brown was a very beautiful tone. This one looks way worse, they had better allow us to dye it! Your white and red looks great! https://images2.imgbox.com/7b/e7/xI9MBgQK_o.png here are my edits ^^
  7. I see you updated the armor set ever since PTS came live. The mask looks better now, so gratz on that! And I believe you changed some textures and colors aswell, for the better I'd say. But sadly, the brown is still a static color, and many people are gonna be angry if it gets to live and they can't dye it. Seriously, not being able to dye expensive armor is not fun. Lately you're making the dye system a bit pointless. Please reconsider before it's too late and make this set dyeable so that kotor/Revan fans can be happy!
  8. Here I very much agree, it seems they can't make normal blades in lightsabers anymore and for those of us who prefer the simple look it's getting annoying. I didn't suggest it myself because, honestly, I doubt it will happen. It's platinum, they will want to charge 5k ccs for it, and it's harder for them to justify that kind of ridiculous price without a special effect, just for a cool hilt. But for me it'd be worth more without effect than with it
  9. Yeah sorry, I admit I didn't check that since it was the same conversation. I see this point, which is why this reddit user chose not to participate in this despite agreeing with my overall view. But I consider that a fault of the dye system itself, which is another matter and something that should be addressed aswell. But imo one mistake doesn't justify another and it's overall better to not have static colors in armor. I myself have taken advantage of non dyeable parts I liked on occasion, but tbh I'd be willing to have those outfits start looking bad if it meant we can dye everything else that is undyeable currently. Since this is all subjective, it's true that they are not wrong for doing whatever they choose to do. Anyways, yes, I like the brown and it's not even about looking like Darth Revan anymore. For instance, I think that's a very beautiful belt and would like to use it with several other outfits, but brown won't work with all characters or outfits so that's a big problem for me and many other people, no matter how beautiful said brown is. True, but I did also mention comments I've seen from people in game. Not being able to dye something that's gold (as used to be the case) or brown (as is the trend lately) tends to cause more trouble than it prevents and I've seen this view shared with me many times so far. This I don't understand. Force Apprentice is for me the perfect example of how a set should be done, and is in fact one of my favorite sets in game. It has very beautiful base colors, it actually has three base colors, but allows you to easily work with 2-color dyes without leaving anything undyeable. It works well with so many different dye combinations, be it primary only, secondary only, and nothing remains unchanged if you give it a full dye. Well, other than the very small metal bits. The complaint comes when the undyeable parts are huge like they are doing lately. Oh, how I hope you're right! Regardless I thank you, it's always good to see other points of view ^^
  10. I didn't say it was the same set, my only point there was that I didn't see it as heresy because of that. I agree and hope they would do it, but I still suspect they won't so I have to focus on what seems easier to happen. I still did ask/suggest in my post that they do a separate dark side version too because I agree. It still doesn't change the fact that armor should be dyeable imo. That's a matter of taste, but I agree too and did say in my post that the brown they chose is beautiful. But choices are always better. With the CM certificates that many people got tons of from the nightlife event you can get a cheap black primary only dye for the non photoshopped version easily, while people who prefer the others (and many do and have praised them) can also get their way. Well, honestly, if those players with "no sense of aesthetics" like that outfit that you dislike, I'm happy for them enjoying their outfit the way they want to, and black dyes are expensive so BW wins too. Obviously it's up to them but so far lots of people have agreed that it's always better to have fully dyeable armor. I see a lot of people complaining every time one of these new armor sets comes out and follows this non dyeable trend. I even talked with a player on reddit who refused to support this request because they wanted to use a specific dye without the secondary color showing, but even they admitted that's the dye system's fault and that overall everything should be dyeable. Bioware can certainly ignore the player base but it's not advisable as a general rule. If most people want to be able to dye it, it would make sense that they at least consider it, which is all I'm asking, to be fair
  11. I'll say again, even Light Side Revan wore the black robes so it doesn't go against the point at all. I would definitely be on board for a "dark side" version with the cape, the metal and the right colors but as you said, there are already 2 (not accurate at all) dark side armor sets so it's very unlikely they will make yet another one so this one would be the closest we could get even without the cape. And nobody is asking them to "alter" the set that we can see on PTS, it looks great and the colors look good too, just make them dyeable. More choices for the player are always a good thing, if people like the base colors they can leave them but if others want to dye it black and red (or even white and white, come on, look at my edit, it looks awesome) that should be doable too. The biggest point is not even about whether Revan should use the white or the black robes, but that we should always be allowed to dye all or most parts of every armor set and they are making the dye system pointless lately.
  12. Honestly, for me it feels like heresy not to dye it. The starforge white robes were just loot so they were always semi canon. He never wore them in any other canon appearance and as far as we know he used the black robes even when redeemed. So ok, I can accept the white robes and they are cool looking and welcome but if we're gonna stay true to Revan we should go black and red. Regardless the main point is we should always be able to dye everything to our personal taste 😢
  13. TL;DR: Please make the new Revan's set brown parts be dyeable aswell. On the PTS they remain brown no matter what and that is a big problem! Let me say this first: the set looks AWESOME! It has so many details and it's so close to being a perfect render of his KOTOR look. Shape wise I would complain that the mask may look a bit too big but it's a minor detail. The problem comes when you try to dye it. Apparently you chose to make the brown bits undyeable, and I ask WHY? I understand this is supposed to be the light side version of his robe, which is why I didn't complain about lack of cape or metallic armor (though I would encourage making a version with cape), but you must be aware that the two Darth Revan sets we got so far are not even close to being accurate to his KOTOR looks. So for those of us that really want to look like Darth Revan, this set would have been almost perfect... Except we can't make it black and red! There has been this trend lately of making awesome sets with lots of undyeable details. I don't understand it and it's breaking more and more sets for me that I can't use because I can't dye them. It kind of defeat the whole purpose of the dye system. I wish you stopped doing that altogether. But specially on this set??? You must have known the first thing people would try would be a Black and Red dye on the lower robe. Why take that away from us? Why not let us enjoy the set however we want to? Please, please, consider making all the brown parts dye as a secondary color instead of (or together with) the mask. Both for Revan fans (of which there are many) and people who simply would like to use a Black and Black or a White and White and look awesome. Because this armor would look absolutely insane in Black and Black. The brown tone you gave it is beautiful, there's no denying that, but undyeable parts are not fun. At the very least include a version with a black belt and the thing hanging on the skirt red. Unless you're planning on making a Darth Revan version too, of which I wouldn't complain Add cape, give metallic texture in bronze for chest and gloves, use the right colors and get twice the profit while making me happy but even then it's just always a bad idea to make things not dyeable so please change it before going live! 😭 Here are few photoshopped samples of how awesome it could look if you allowed us to dye everything: https://images2.imgbox.com/7b/e7/xI9MBgQK_o.png Look at all the insanely looking options you're denying the players!
  14. The new Jedi Knight Revan armor set on the PTS doesn't allow you to dye the brown parts. I assume, I HOPE, this is because the set isn't finished, because otherwise it feels like the devs are trolling players on purpose. I understand the set is supposed to be his light side version but what harm does it do to allow players to dye it black and red to look like Darth Revan if they want to? If this isn't a mistake, please change that before going live. People need to be allowed to dye it however they want. If we want it blue and pink let us have it pink and blue, it's a very much expected and likely expensive set we want to dye it! Also consider adding a version with a cape but I understand if you don't, just let it be dyeable...
  15. Ohhh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of those rules, should I edit the post then? Yes, you are right that the Reborn set looks pretty much like what he wears on Shadow of Revan. The complaint is that there is no set that looks remotely like what he wears on KOTOR while most KOTOR characters do have accurate sets.
  16. [Edited because I was told I was breaking a forum rule without realizing, for which I apologize.] To go around it, I'm just asking for a KOTOR accurate Darth Revan set like I did in my previous post some months ago: https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=978034 , but with a special focus on the armored bits being copper/bronze and having a full, long, non broken cape. All I'm saying is that gold is NOT Revan's color and that extra options that don't really take effort would be very appreciated. I know Revan already has more sets than most characters but neither of them come close to what he wears on KOTOR, and it's very unfair because he's the most important character in KOTOR and the only one without an accurate set. You can dress like Mission Vao or Zayne Carrick and really look like them, but not like the KOTOR Revan many of us fell in love with, so please consider giving us that option!
  17. The hood of the Saber Marshal's upper robe clips into the head of female body type 3 characters when they unsheath their weapons, look left, fight, and in certain cutscenes where their head goes backwards. It doesn't happen on male body type 3 characters. I didn't test on other body types, but I can if it helps, I just need it fixed because I can't play my main character like this. Screenshot showing the issue while running with the weapon unsheathed: https://images2.imgbox.com/63/18/rfLYgwqs_o.png
  18. The cape of the Righteous Harbinger's Chestguard from the light side vendor clips into the back of female body type 3 characters every time they walk, run, unsheath their weapon or fight, and it looks hideous. I tested it on male body type 3 and it looks fine, didn't test on other body types. This screenshot shows the issue while running but it also happens when fighting: https://images2.imgbox.com/5b/97/k2yCemzl_o.png
  19. Hmmm that's really weird since we have all other KotOR sets and most of them are very accurate to the original game.
  20. ^ This. I own Ranos aswell but I don’t care that others don’t have to work for her as much as I did. I still rather they brought back the event because I’ve been wanting it back for years but not because I’m against people getting her another way.
  21. What? No, noooo! It may seem like a small thing but this is a game of alts and many of us log in and out dozens of times per day. This is an added annoyance to the process. Imo you shouldn’t bother with this at all, there are many other useful things you could be working on, but if you do it, it HAS to be voluntary. As someone pointed out, there are some players that won’t want this, ever. I’m one of those players. Don’t do it, please!
  22. As a Master Ranos owner, I have no issue with her being brought back. In fact, I don’t mind if they give her away as sub reward or for ccs, though in that case, Nico and Shae WOULD need to be made available aswell. That said though, I’d really like them to bring DvL event back. So it’s not so much a case that I think other players should grind as much as I did for her but rather that I think she’s the perfect excuse to do it. The DvL event brought so much activity to the game, it was a crazy huge grind that somehow managed to be fun at the same time with great rewards appropriate for the time spent. It should reward something new for people who did it, like maybe an exp armor with a different skin or something but I really want it back ^^ and I don’t care about exclusivity, let everyone have Ranos, she looks cool ^^
  23. Exactly! Not that I’m asking them to charge 10k cc... but if that is what it takes...... take my money (and other people’s xD) just make it happen T-T
  24. Honestly I don't think that really matters. I'm not asking to get HK-47 as a companion, just to be able to customize our HK-51/HK-55 to look similar to him. That's like saying you can't have Revan's armor set because Revan is dead... Well you're just dressing like him It can't be that hard, from a story point of view, to just paint your HK droid in orange.
  25. Yes, I know... Sadly, for me at least, none of them are valid. None of them are true to his original look, so despite having two sets, I can't really look like Revan. I use a mix of both sets plus some revanite gear (Reborn breastplate, classic lower robe, basic looking belt, Revanite Pursuer gloves and bracers) but it's not the same and it gets very frustrating that you can make a toon look like idk Carth or Jarael but not really Revan. But yes, I know that having 2 sets already makes this hard to happen, even though I know they could make an awesome set for him now seeing the quality of the latest ones. How about the HK customization though??? I know of lots and lots of players that have been waiting for a 47 customization for years!
