  1. Logged in, I have early entry, what do I see? everything changed & gone! Where is my 800 mil + many billions worth of gear for my eight chars (which were top-leveled all!). Seems I LOST everything. I was logged in for 10 minutes & only thing I could do = walk a bit with my Sith Warrior (turn left, turn right..yes, that was working, at least). All options, stats, ALL is gone!????? OMG what have they done. I allways was sub as from moment I started playing this game & still am. But now the took away all?? I am still subscriber but I do not recognize the game anymore! Everything changed or taken away?!? Luckily I have two other MMO's which I also play as a sub, so, I will await reviews of KOTET. After having seen the reviews I will decide to stay or to leave. ATM there is simply nothing to do for me with KOTET since all is changed & all options changed/gone. Where are stats & where are my 800 mil credits & billions of credits worth of gear?????? As I said, I will eagerly await the reviews of Gamespot etc. tro learn what actually has happed here all...realy, realy unbelievable this is all. Till then, bye
  2. yeah, seems totalloy broken down & i am a crafter loosing 8-10 mils per day caus this bug. But then again: my experience with bw over the years is that they are very trustworthy, so no doubt in my mind that they will fix it in time (...otherwise i as a crafter will have to file for bankruptcy soon?!
  3. Question: do you even realize how very agressive & unbalanced your comment is??? Do you use pills and/or are you drinking yr 45 cup of coffee (in 3 hours time) to boost yr "SKILLS"? Read yr own comment again, preferrably on a date and time when you 'think " you are the most "mental-balanced"! That is my advise. ..and after having done that, then ask yourself the following question: "do my comments facilitate in a positive way any future participation of any new players in PvP? (...obviously not, since you sound far toooo agressive & unbalanced...I for one would not even consider to play PvP with people like you since I play this game for my entertainment) FYG: I myself am a many years sub. Before i played EVE & two other MMO's but after a while I got bored (often I wondered: "why do I logg in actually") & then I went playing swtor & I never stopped, I like it, each day. But SWTOR is a total different story: I never got a boring moment & allways there are immense many different entertaining things one can decide to do at some day (depends on what one likes at some day and time). As a 85% solo-player I liked this game from the start & each day I discover new things. I must say: my skills (real life skills) in time became of a level far above average & I am very fast & experienced in the fights, using key-binds fcaus; but still I prefer the solo-way-of experiencing the immense possibilities of this game. As I see it: SWTOR is "A World" one steps into with immense many possiblities (& combinations) for anyone to choose from. PvP = just a "part of the game". The game itself is immense bigger than PvP alone with very , very many things players can coose to do (solo or groups, what one likes). The PvP provided by SWTOR imo = OK. But do not make the mistake to state that PvP is the most important aspect of the game(???). Such statements are so immense ridiculous for the ones that actually realy play & know this game! lol So, my advise: stick yr head out of your window an THEN come to realize that the World in fact is a far bigger place than the little room you preferred to stay in all the time lollollol (...I see myself as "one of the silent majority gamer base" who almost never comment on forums, because we prefer to playing & enjoying this great game i.s.o. waisting time with commenting on forums):)
  4. The Red Eclypse. I still can't logg in. I guess I take some other tries to logg-in tomorrow same time. must say I respect the team of BW tackling all kinds of problems in professional ways. I know those people are doing their utmost best to let all work well and smooth again asap. As a gamer i have learned to live with temporary problems like those we encountered this week (those occur with every mmorpg from time to time, we all know that). Only thing i want is being able again to logg-in the game tomorrow and being able to play the game during the coming weekend.
  5. after yr putting so much time & efforts in that lengthy 'analysis' i wonder, now what? what's next for you to do on any random picked internet forum on the internet? Bit brainstorming I could imagine next you go fiercely criticizing the existence of Oxygen on panet Earth? Or maybe even more of yr liking: seems they still have an empty seat in the cargo bay for that mission they plan to undertake: 'Mars One'?? Think of it: you could even open yr own forum there!! But, but..do you think the Martians would welcome you as, say, "some enrichment of their civilization? ..not sure there...i mean, we Earthlings on seven continents obviously unable to understand you, so why should we assume that the Martians would?
  6. Any critics of patch 4.0.2 i do not understand. I played heroics etc. & all works pleasant & fine. Before, with the immense strong comps at first it was fun, but after a while one gets to think: is there still some fighting for me to do since my comp defeats them all & so very fast:) So, I do not understand the vocal minority critics on the forum: sometimes I even wondered: "are we talking about the same game here? I guess same critics if possible would even ask George Lucas to rewrite "Episode IV: A New Hope" and this time let Luke Skywalker SOLOING & defeating Darth Vader with just some training sabre after some 30 minutes practice, so those critics could "enjoy' it all in say a 30 mins lunch-break?? The great majority of the player-base (99,9999%) hardly comment in forums. Why is that? Because they prefer investing their time in playing & enjoying they game. And I am one of them. No doubt BW has done a good job with patch 4.0.2. It enriches the game even more with sheer endless possibilities & combinations to make. And about those so-called 'expert-critics' on the forums: hell, I image they would even critisize the forthcoming Star Wars movie "The Force Awakens", even before having seen the movie with their own eyes?
  7. Hi! Maybe this can help you (it did work for others, including me): there is another thread "Game crashes after patch, can't log into the game". Read comment #3 by Raniq. It seems to work very smooth & fast.
  8. Hi, ths for yr comment: i just tried it & it worked all fast & smooth for me. It took only a few minutes & i could access the updated game. again, ths.
  9. Can anyone maybe inform me of the GB-seize of the patch? I been trying to downloadi it (European server) for over 5 hours(??!) now but it's still continuing (seems never ending). I noticed that the servers (east + west coast us) soon went to 'standard'while in europe the servers stayed mentioning 'light'. Maybe only the europe servers have problems downloading the patch? I do not know for sure, so I hope someone can tell? It was mentioned downloading would be slow, yes, but i wonder if almost 6 hours is 'a bit very long' I have high internet speed and this problem normally never occurs. Maybe someone can tell me? ths for yr reply
  10. Cannot logg in also, as from yesterday evening. I am from The Netherlands. I looked into the matter and found others on the internet stating (last 24 hours) that it possibly has to do with ZIGGO-ISP: ZIGGO simply fails to connect to British servers. One even stated that ZIGGO was trying 'bridging" the problem through US-servers? Anyway, that is what I read about it. Moreover, it seems that same problems (connecting problems) exist for The Netherlands for some other big games also: ZIGGO cannot connect. Anyway, that is what I could find on the internet about it. I wonder: weekend coming and many thousands of gamers not be able to connect to their server-games, possibly? In the past I had UPC as my provider (worked excellent, never had any such problems) but some time ago UPC went together with ZIGGO and now I see I encounter connecting problems I never had before?! Lets hope the problem will be taken care of soon:( .."in any which way possible"
  11. I just read a summary of the crafting changes. I myself do quite a lot of craftings with several chars. Yeah, I see that I in the beginning have to adjust to the new mechanisms, yes, indeed. I 'will loose some grounds(!) so to speak However, after reading the reasons why they made the changes (the improvement objectives that will result from it) I think that the changes soon will benefit the crafting in the game and it will no doubt benefit very many new crafters. And that seems to me a very good goal: making the crafting more attractive for so very many more people. So, generally speaking, I am convinced that the crafting changes will benefit in time many more players and that is ok for the evolving game. So, its ok with me:)
  12. I also cannot logg in for say some 2 hours now. I better then go watch some movie or so:) Most of the time all is working excellently with swtor, so i think they must be working on the current problem. Anyway imo, showing a bit patience from time to time, well, that comes with all gamings.
  13. Sorry, but this does not work at all! (at least for me). Tried everything, but cannot get passed this bug. In the end I could only conclude that i wasted yet another hour of my time (same as yesterday). This is frustrating: normally i play for hours, but experiencing bugs like this make me log out of the game instantly out of pure frustration. Anyway, I made up my mind: at least at Oricon, Makeb and previous planets things are working (and entertaining fun!) and one knows what to expect. So, I keep my play restricted to Oricon (& some Rishi / Yavin4) and I totally avoid ZIOST for say the next two months:D
  14. ================================================================================= Hey?! I know that guy, that legendary writing style! He copied/pasted exactly the same nonsense message on other game forums, only changing the words 'SWTOR' to 'EVE" and 'WoW' . But seriously, how could one state to know the minds/likings of hundreds of thousands of gamers (who never read your forum postings because they are actually playing and enjoying the game in full, as i do)? Anyway, the posting is so ridiculous that it made me laugh. First thing that came to my mind (as an association) reading above comment was that char on Tatooine (Cantina, Bounty week) stating: "I don't know nothing about nothing" (good humor). (ps: in case you also produce Youtube clips acting as a clown or so then let me know, since I like good humor)
  15. Good thread OP: think many have questions before they even dare to enter pvp. I myself never and still do not understand how to obtain the basic pvp-gear-sets because you need so many coms to obtain the pieces at fleet. Than i thought I had figured it out: I should just play my weeklies with ranked warzones to get far more coms, but the very first time i entered ranked warzones others were blaming me for not having decent pvp-gear and they then left the warzone-phase right away, even before the fights begun:eek:. So, I stopped trying any of my weeklies. In fact stopped trying entering pvp alltogether since i dont have pvp-gear and i do not know how to get the warzone coms without people getting angry with me for not having any pvp-gear-sets Some pvp could be some fun, I suppose (especially because i do not mind loosing or so). But seems to me the realy big problem for new pvp-players entering is them obtaining decent pvp-gear; otherwise others go treating in bit unpleasant ways right from the start because one does not have pvp-gear. Looks like that ancient problem: "What was first: the chicken or the egg? " Anyway, nowadays I do not care anymore for not being able to enter pvp, because I like the realy excellent pve with its excellent graphics, quests, etc. etc. very much. IMO swtor is the best MMORPG (PVE) I ever experienced, even without having done any serious pvp. So, I do not bother:)
  16. lol, your posting brought a smile on my face, fcaus when recognizing yr failed try for 'higher level trolling' ahh well, though containing a little bit of entertainment let me give you some advise about trolling, in higher-level-ways I mean: 1st Be more accurate (the content re yr friend contains some beginners errors, giving you away relative easily) 2nd You emphasized a bit too heavily that you are a sub-scriber, as to 'gain objectivity status' in order to pose your false statement more easily. My advise: never 'overdo' it: better let people figure some things out by themselves (by using subtile ways!) because THAT would bring you in more natural ways the 'gain of trust' yr aiming for:rolleyes: Anyway, again, yr comment brought a smile to my face (!) and I must say that should realy be considered to be quite an encouraging remark, to a beginning troller, adventuring his first little steps:)
  17. Fcaus very accurate and good posting by Kalfear. Fully agree (...and I am pretty sure that all non-subscribers secretly fully agree with Kalfear's posting:D). Seems to me the F2P-concept differs a 180 degrees from the proven ancient existing natural laws for sound economics, i mean, what would be next: brainstorming uhhh: F2W(ear..all clothes for free) or F2E(eat..all reataurants serving their meals for free) or F2R(ide...all cars handed over to the customers for free) or F2D(rink ...all drinks for free!!!) etc. etc. Problem is in that case BW would loose all people working in restaurants, bar, pubs, car sales businesses, clothing shops/industries as subscribers since they obviously would no longer be able to afford the very low monthly subscribing fee usd 15,= only:D IMO people advocating any F2P are trolling, some better than others, knowing that they are advocating non-sense, just for fun:rolleyes: reading such trolling postings about for instance F2P dwells my mind to Johnny Depp stating: "Up=Down & Down = Up" (Pirates of the Caribbean - at worlds end)...all very entertaining:)
  18. Been playing SWTOR for quite a long time now, but I never ever succeeded to obtain the rewards (elite) of the Weekly on CZ-198. Today I tried again: I joint groupfinder for Czerka Corporate Labs (both FP's), but after waiting 30 mins NO GROUP. So I tried gain, waited 30 mins but NO GROUP. So i concluded this groupfinder does not work the way it should, so I left it. The character I was playing was very well equiped level 60 (full rated 186 gear, same for the companion), well, I thought it to be possible to finish the both FP's alone (since FP's are only level 50?!). So, i started the FP solo, all going smooth, ander after getting to understand the mechanics of the big drone I defeated it. So last opponent to defeat CHIEF ZOKAR. But there is something realy terrible wrong with those 'game mechanics' applicable for CHIEF ZOKAR: I tried twice, each time bringing him down from 650 health to below a 100K and the winning was obvious only a matter of time. Trick is to keep moving fast (and stay away of the area your comp is positioned, so it gets almost no dps hits) and only tfrom time to time DPS-ing heavily, takes time (some 20 minutes) but one will win it for sure. Now it comes: first time I tried my health (and health comp) far above 40 k. At that moment Zokar hits with only one blow 10K and the sytem 'tells me I am defeated'???? But, but, my heath was far above 40K and I had all under control well?? So, explain that one!! lol Second time I tried same story: chars health far above 40K (also healing comp far above 40K) all went well as planned, Zokar getting again below 100K health and at that time dealing one stroke of 18K damage. At the same time the system informs me i am defeated:eek:????????? Where did my reamining 30K health disappear to???lol Having experienced this all I can only conclude that obviously they programmed in the FP-programm that "IN NO CASE ONE IS ALLOWED TO COMPLETE THE FP SOLO". so after some 20 mins winning the system (programming) 'decides' as if: now is is enough, you are defeated hahaha People, I just experienced the above: not only is it a waste of my free time, moreover it is very frustrating when one gets the feeling that one is being "FOOLED WITH" by some rigged programming. I mean: If it is not allowed (and thus technically prevented by programmings) for players to succeed in solo-playing some FP, then just tell us (that would be the decent and proper way). That way we would be informed in a proper and decent way. I would have no problem with that! The fooling-around with people that search some entertainment in their sparetimes in gaming, that is what I would not appreciate, as many others obviously:confused: Your opinions?
  19. ths for the clue, yes I found it: there is a "stronghold terminal on Lower Promenade Nar Shadda" where you can easily activate (glad you did the searching for us, me myself, would have taken me hours!, so ths). The stronghold itself: it look real impressive, I like it. Graphics are excellent & artistics are real good! Looks realy like a Starwars residence, real good!
  20. Received mail I received title + stronghold as subscriber. Maybe dumb question: HOW DO I ACCESS IT??? Would be nice to know. Mail said: "unlock in stronghold management" but seems to me no options there? Can someone tell me how I can get to take a look at my stronghold???
  21. I see the query was not commented. That does not realy surprise me, since there is no solution. That in fact proves what I read & suspected: there is no real endgame & reaching level 55 with a character means for by far the most players that they can "drop" that character, since there is no further entertaining/challenging use for it any longer. In fact I also see considerable dropping in numbers (number of players active) the higher the level, the lesser players remain. And the little groups of 'select' players which remain playing with level 55 chars seem to be considerable more fanatic and agressive towards other players, generally speaking. So, as I experience it: when one reaches level 55 just drop the character & start all over again with some kind of other char (providing new quests, missions & fresh experiences), building it to level 55 and then drop that one also & then start with the next one etc. Could be fun for most i think. Must say swtor is realy a quite excellent game (graphics, game mechanics, sounds, voice overs etc. etc. I even consider SWTOR by far the best MMO I ever played. Therefore I regret it somehow that after level 55 it suddenly ends for you carefully build chararter (for by far the most players). Maybe I go trying some other character, or maybe not, haven't decided yet. Anyway, SWTOR was realy a pleasant experience for me & I wish present active players lots of fun (as I had) before reaching level 55. I also liked the many moments of humor in the game, for instance Nadia Grell during a fight stating "I do not wanna die this way" & then within 3 seconds hear her stating "let me also take the next one out". lol:D
  22. I am subscribing player with Jedi Sentinel (lv 46) + Sage (Telekinetics + healing) lv 55. The sage + companion both equiped gear rating 162, advanced resolve hilt 34 + Dread Forged Relics rating 180. So, my question. playing with almost 100% keybinds Razer Epic Mouse (for easy 'blind playing' movements + rotations. So, my question: I have been doing weeklies + daylies all providing for the 162 gear. I never did any Flashpoints or Operations. What is there next for me to do in the game?? First time i joined a Flashpoint we were with 4 players and when I arrived the other 3 players vanished so fast to some point on the map?? I did not even know where they were? Those players must have been playing that flashpoints already many times(!!)..but for me it was the very first time? And I was the healer!!! lol. So...this went wrong & it presented a first "very nasty experience" for me with flashpoints: most people are kind/nice people (as I am, according to others)..however lots of them are realy nasty arrogant players: they do the same flashpoint say 30 times already and when some new participant arrives joining them they go "feeling great experts" & leaving the new player (me) hanging to dry. I bet also those players had some first experience with flashpoints & they were threated kind at the time while they were anticipating the game mechanics; but seems, after a while some nasty people seem to forget that! So, I do not feel (or say: dare) to anticipate any flashpoint any more because I fear to encounter nast people again. And about operation (I never did them sofar), I trust that all same: having some groups of arrogant players (not realy wanting to give new players a enjoyable chance to learn to play the operations &get the experience). So, me, with my Sage lv 55 (which I sometimes respecin the field from telekinetics to healing skill tree) am in the endgame. So Question: what else is there to do for me? Second question: in order to avoid nasty people in the game: how can i get in touch with people like myself, like-minded cheerfull gamers liking fun & lots of humor! I myself from time to time help others (levels 25 & higher) in their heroics (only by keeping them alive...the fighting they have to do themselves = much more enjoyable for them)..but at the same time I myself too often am facing some real nasty people (most of them having gearings 180 + set bonus) standing in my way to join operations & flash points??! So, how can cheerful players like I am, nice people, find each other & enjoy flashpoints & operation together & have fun? So, tell me how (that is: if there is a solution). If I do not see a possible way for me to join flashpoints/operation, well, then the game ends for me at level 55 (& gearings rating 162)??
  23. Hi, Spudik, Halinalle, Mega-ster, You were right as from the start: my main was not equiped the right way. I even noticed that tough i placed MK-9 I failed to put in the resolve augments also(?) Changed the gear as you told to adept enh. (= power + surge) & initiative enh. (=accuracy + power), the hilt to resolve hilt, crystal to power, & changed the relics to 2x hawkeye mind-bending (= increasing power by 145 each for 30 secs.) & changed implants + D-focus. This new equip based focussed on Willpower > power > Surge >Critical as you advised to do. Stats of the Sage Kinetic at present: str 95 / Pres. 214 / aim 47 / Cunning 97 / Endurance 1238 / Willpower 1121/ damage pri 400-528 / bonus damage 143 / accuracy 96,95% critical 7,94% / crit. mult. 70,41 / health 14625 / armor 2084 / damage red. 16,97% / defense chance 11,57 In short: obviously as from beginning with the Sage I was playing it on approx. 60% of its dpsmax possibilies, each level. Bit stupid of me that I failed to notice that earlier:rolleyes:. On the other hand: made the fights before Belsavis quite challenging in tactical ways as playing on 60% dps-power only, i mean. Beated Stark today,in fact far too easily with the aboce specs...since level 47 and above stats is kind of overkill. Thank you both for the helping advise provided. Players like you (&others alike) form the basis of pleasant & nice MMO communities(!) Maybe, this thread can be referred to in future if another player might have some problems beating Stark. Thread closed, CHEERS!
  24. Hi, No, the target castbar I have on, I see him starting. But I must admit when Stark is going chasing me around the crates & my force power say 20% , haha, at those moments in final stage I loose track of reviewing his activities being so busy to stay alive. About the hits/blows receiving from Stark while I am out of sight, partly could be parts of debris which was already underway. I quess at present objectively my RL skills Sage = 6.5 out of 10; trust that will improve coming months. At present I am in no way some kind of experienced Jedi Sage. Takes time to get the more experience later on.
  25. ..starting to like me? like this sounclip yt? "Golden Earring - Radar Love" "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwqMKf7r7Xg" ..i sure hope not! I sense that soon your gonna unveil to us that in fact you are the 'the evil brain' having learned Stark all his deadly moves to use against us!hahaha, just kidding around a bit, I know you do appreciate bits of well-placed humor. In fact, I stumbled on that sound when I placed the other Golden Earring song in my earlier posting (the dead-row-one with a wink); quite a good sound that song. We are a bit cheerful in Holland now we have won of Spain this evening soccer match WC we won 5-1 (= we experience that as a little bit payback to Spain for our lost final WC in year 2010 against Spain). As to yr comment: guiding sites for game mechanics/gear etc etc. for MMO's on internet: imo real ok since excellent MMO's such as SWTOR provide seemingly endless possibilities & varations to choose from & that makes it all very interesting. So such sites (the good ones, i mean) make it possible for players to learn easy & fast in comfortble ways. And no, I never felt the urge to try Dark Souls; strikes me as a bit gloomy/dark game having to fight the demons all the time in the darkness. But seems a lot like it. Did my entrance with MMO with EVE some 3 years ago, have still two active accounts there but I only log in there for placing new training skills to accumulate xp when I am away; bit quiet there, also nice people & community there, I respect them also. But not much happening there, bit quiet, so I almost never logged in last 3 months. And WoW; my girlfriend plays it, seems she has a lot of friends there, maybe that why she likes it, i do not know for sure. And me, well I keep track of only the most popular MMO's. Must say I opine SWTOR overall is the best there is; allways vibrant/living & never a single dull moment & offers the possibilities for subtile tactics & strategics & much more. I like it much. Besides that I have many games on Steam: Assassins Creed series + Black Flag + Total War series; Shogun II I opine as the best of the series sofar...but the Steam games are not MMO's but kind of standlones with dlc's; cannot be compared with big MMO's experience. Now I see lots of people yelling on TV that Holland will be World Champion Soccer this year(!?)...I sure hope so, but all based on one single first won game....hahahaha...fun:)
