I had my male smuggler marry her too. But he still has her, as I'm not taking him into the expansion. Funny, I didn't much care for her on the crew of my girl, but I liked her much better than Risha with the guy. Yeah, she does have an amazing voice.

There is hope! I looked at that day before yesterday, and it hadn't changed, so maybe they really are coming back.

Since I haven't gotten that far in the Agent storyline, I don't know much about Vector, but I can tell you this, I hope I get the chance to see the riot, because I want Corso back ASAP! And NOT to kill him!

I want Corso back. My smuggler girl is my main, and she wants him back! I figure he has to be imprisoned some way to not have at least tried to get word to her once she made those galaxy-wide announcements. My favorite theory is that he's been frozen in carbonite for five years. In that way, they each only missed a year without the other. While the rescue mission to get him out of the Zakuul frozen prisoner block isn't what it would have been before the end of KOTET, searching for him could still make a nice story. And there could be some satisfying irony if it turned out his block had been hung somewhere near hers for four years.

So I've been wondering since KOTFE started and there was this whole thing about Zildrog, if they wouldn't used that in an operation or something. Seems like having Zildrog rise would make the perfect final boss in this new operation. Or maybe he could be a World Boss for Zakuul. I expect to see this monster at some point!

I was in a PvP match yesterday, and wondered what was going on. I didn't remember my enemies' circles ever being the same color as mine. It does make it harder to stay clear of enemy damage. Maybe it's a mistake.

I certainly thought I was not going to be able to do it. And it was nervewracking after all the fails, but if you get yourself as bulked up with defensive utilities, you can stand most of her lightening, and don't ever let her get too close except when you get a healing circle near. It was tricky to get on the other side of it so that it activated on her and not me, but it did work. And if you don't fight her, she never gets to that point where she'll do the knockback. And there is always grouping with someone. I would be happy to help if I had more time in game than I do these days.

I found grade 10 mats on Darvannis as well as Zakuul. It wasn't as heavily farmed either. But I'll be glad when they let the Jawas sell them.

Thank you and everyone else on these threads for your advice! I did as you suggested and revamped the utilities for the Vaylin fight. The first time I tried it, I tried hunker down (which I have used at times without really realizing how good it is) and other defensive things, but still took too much damage and died. 2nd time, I only shot her once, spent the rest of the time running from her, trying to stay out of her range because that's when she'd do me the most damage. It did happen, and I managed to get to a healing circle a couple times. Then I did what some suggested and just finagled getting Vaylin in the way of the healing circle, and bam! That worked great. The trick is that the circle can heal you or hurt her, not both. Someone mentioned that on another thread, and that was key. I was shaking, though, the whole time, especially when I had her down to 19%, I was afraid she'd kill me and I have to do it all over again! What a relief when that didn't happen. I think changing the utilities made it possible to withstand the lightning arcs, because they seemed to do me less damage than before. Then not shooting her kept her from ever stacking up to 30 and trying to blow me off the platform. Kite around, look for the next circle, maneuver her into it. That about summed it up. I'm not that great a player, if I can do it, anyone can! Thanks again for everyone's help!

I mostly leveled my main characters before 4.0, so the companions weren't over-powered, and didn't heal me, especially my GS, who played almost exclusively with Corso. (Where is he? She misses his sooooo much.) I've done some PvP, but never got good at it, really could use a coach! And I did respec her for the Vaylin fight, and read all the different things I never did quite understand before. PvP is so different, you need a whole other set of skills.

Oh, this is exactly what I need! I was thinking of looking at the utilities to see if I could find something to help, but really had no idea what to choose. My GS is pretty much all DPS, and with the 5.0 changes, I just set her up the best I could, though there were no guides I could find. I thought this thread you linked would give specifics, but I read all of it anyway for help. I think it's the Veteran mode thing actually. I'd checked that out already. Right-clicking my portrait says I'm in Story mode. Checking the mission log, "STORY" is greyed out, and "VETERAN" is live. I thought this might mean Story was greyed out because it's being used, and you could change the fight to Veteran. I didn't click it because no way did I want to make it harder! Thank you, though for the tips! I will try this and the running her into the circles again, and some other things. Ugh. Not looking forward to it.

I will give that a try, thank you very much! But not tonight. I burned out on that fight for now. (Never seemed to be enough healing circles. Someone suggested going to them when your health was down to half. All well and good if one shows up at that point. Often there wasn't one, and of course she drags you back and slows you down. Ugh.)

I hate this fight so much. I freaking gave up after dying about 10 times on my GS. The only reason I managed to do it on my trooper is because she could heal herself. I have all the difficulties people mentioned, I've tried staying under that stairs and such, but I cannot get to the healing circles before she eventually kills me. Only been blown off once. It's her damage when in close quarters. And my gear is pretty good (220). This fight blows. This character is my main toon, and she's stuck until I finish this. No way to group for it, is there? Ugh. Hate it. Should not be this hard. Oh, and my repair bill? over 38,000!

This was an engaging pretty amazing story, and I really liked most of it. I was blown away by a few things and some outcomes. I played my commando and was pleased by some of the companion interactions. Especially between her and Aric. (Now if only they'd let my smuggler get Corso back, all would be right with the galaxy!) When it was all over, I didn't feel uplifted, I felt melancholy. And I think thoughts of the story will be with me for a few days, which is a sure sign that it was impactful. And certainly playing KOTFE put me through the wringer for my smuggler in the first 9 chapters. Not the same kind of thing with KOTET, but I'm dreading playing my GS through it. There are a few things that I really dread: All-in-all, they tied up a lot of the loose ends gave it a decent conclusion. Time for them to write some chapters to start bringing back our love interest companions. They should start with Corso. Just sayin'.

I think for some, maybe they moved on, but for others, they'd come running to their husband/wife if they could. The only thing that'd keep Corso from finding my captain would being frozen in carbonite or otherwise imprisoned. It's the most likely reason for the force users absence too. Gotta wonder what that'd be like for Scourge, who isn't exactly normal. Whatever the reason, I just want Corso back. Wish I'd never done this expansion on my smuggler. Nothing but heartbreak for my girl.

Yeah, no reason to belittle. I've only been playing 2 and a half years, and this is the only one I've ever played. Will never be an ace, but it's Star Wars, and I play for the story.

Oh, I figured out pretty quick that the droids had a pattern. Getting past the third set was the worst because even if I seemed to be out of their red zone, they'd get me. But I was tired be then, and it was seriously late.

Is is just me or did anyone else find this a trial?

I don't usually complain about game changes, and one of these is not really about KOTET. I want Corso back! Come on! Start giving us chapters to bring back our LIs! I'm afraid when I play my smuggler girl through KOTET, she's going to make some DS choices she wouldn't ordinarily make because she's so frustrated and angry that he's still missing. HATE that the gunslinger has lost Dirty Kick! That was one of the most fun stuns in the game, and it was so useful when you got grappled. Though I haven't tried it yet, I know Below the Belt won't be any substitute. HATE the menu bar! What a nuisance not be able to just click on the thing you want without having to read down a list first. Should be customizable. And what's up with the crew skills? I open that window and I see the companions listed, but there's nothing in the area above where you select which thing you want them to do. And it's not out beside their portrait either. I checked this on several characters, both yesterday and today, same problem. But I was able to go train on the new assembly component, which did not show up in the crew skills window. Bug? Or am I missing something?

I have been saying this for months! They were captured trying to rescue you and frozen in carbonite. I didn't work out a cool plan like you have about how to work the fact that so many are frozen and need to be rescued, but I could see my smuggler pulling out all the stops to rescue Corso if she knew he was there. And I sort of figured, in so doing, ended up rescuing the rest. It would depend on your class and romance status how it was played, but just think—you could rescue all the missing ones at once, and the only extended cut scenes would be between you and the one who was your husband/wife. My smuggler couldn't care less about the rest she doesn't know (other classes' companions) only wants her husband, and the remainder of her crew back (at this point, only Akaavi and Risha). As for the classes who've gotten their husband/wife back, the focus could be on the rest of their crew. To borrow another poster's expression: I miss Corso....

Exactly, OP. EVERYTHING you said. My smuggler has been searching high and low for Corso when she's out doing those supply missions, but not finding him. I think this is because he's on Zakuul, frozen in carbonite. Because, if not, were has he buried his head? If word has gotten out and people are flocking to the Alliance, SURELY the commander's name would be out there! So frustrating that the writers just don't get it about the original love interest companions.

He killed my consular twice before I got smart and consulted a guide to find out to use the interrupt. That worked like a charm. And this was before 4.0. I have no idea what it's like now. (And funny thing was, that was the first time in her class story that she ever died, and I mostly played her solo.)

I agree about all the mishandling of the companion reunions. I've only taken two characters through FE (trooper and smugger, who is my main) and I have so regretted taking my smuggler through. I've played KOTOR a little, so I recognized that style of interaction, but am not fond of it at all. I want to hear my character's voice! (I think I what I do enjoy is the graphics of my girl during the cinematics. She looks fantastic. )
