  1. Today I played through MM KOTET Chapter 2 and Empress Acina was nowhere to be found. I tried exiting the chapter and resetting it to chapter 1 story mode (completed this version) and when I started chapter 2 again she still wasn't available as a companion. I had a guild member try it as well and she wasn't available for them either, and they did all the same steps as me. Furthermore, I searched the forums and tried all the “fixes” that people recommended, and none of them worked for me or my guild member. Can this please be investigated because there is no possible way to beat this on master mode without a companion available.
  2. Yesterday I completed Landing Party twice on Star Forge, Republic faction, in a group of 2 level 80 players with companions, and it did not give me or my other group member any credit towards GS weekly objective Quelling The Uprising (0/4). Afterward, we both switched to Imperial faction and did the same uprising again (Landing Party) with 2 level 80 players and companions, and this time it counted towards GS weekly objective Quelling The Uprising (0/4).
  3. Yeah, I meant Secrets of the Enclave. Forgot to update it after the post approval.
  4. With the recent release of 7.3 and it adding another new "daily" area, how about adding a skip if the achievement "Re-Opening Old Wounds" has been completed (this means that at least one character has completed the new story) and make it cost credits (another credit sink; helps remove credits from the economy as well) and/or cartel coins? I have multiple characters that are still at Ossus and I have been dreading completing them because I don't want to do Echos, Spirit, and Secrets again for the umpteen time. The skip would put us at the start of LoTS.
  5. @JackieKo If I use an instant level 80 token, where will it start me in the story?
  6. How would that change how you play the game if it is your choice? They won't force you to use the instant level, so that wouldn't change anything for you. All my characters don't have many level 50 comps especially any new character I create wouldn't have level 50 comps right away, as I said that also takes a lot of time and/or credits to get them to level 50. I think you are misunderstanding what I'm asking for here because I am not asking for them to change how to level crew skills but to give us another option (based on legacy achievements) to level them. What is wrong with having multiple options to do the same thing? We have the ability to get an instant level 70 character, so why can't we do that same thing for crew skills?
  7. No one said I was expecting a response before them. The topic hasn't moved since August, which means it was on at least the fourth page. My post was to bring it back to the first page and get it back in the eyes of the developers. That's it.
  8. Exactly. This is honestly the worse part of it all.
  9. You're correct, it is convenience vs gameplay. This is why it would be a choice of the PLAYER to decide if they want to spend the cartel coins to have instant crew skills or not. It wouldn't have any effect on the long term life of the game. This has nothing to do with how crew skills work. If I have level 50 comps, they are less likely to fail compared to level 1 comps, so that means nothing in what I'm asking. This has nothing to do with gameplay either because I'll still have a companion with me regardless. Yes, Tal stated it took them 2.5hrs just to level biochem. Now it would be another 2.5hrs minimum for each gathering skill that goes along with it. So now you are minimum of 7.5hrs just to level up, so you can gather and craft high level things. How is that any fun? As I said in my initial post, you wouldn't be able to use the item unless you've already achieved a certain level achievement, “Renowned Craftsman”. This achievement requires you to level all gathering and crafting skills to 700 before you get that achievement. That right there is already a lot of time, so why shouldn't we be rewarded for the time we put into this achievement already? Also, once you hit level 700 once, you don't care anymore on another character. I'm from that same timeframe. I've been playing this game for 10yrs, and I have too many credits and cartel coins that I know what to do with. Furthermore, I haven't created another character because I am dreading having to level their crew skills because it is a pain.
  10. You can get three free level 50 comps, that still is a grind. To get the max of eight takes either a lot of grinding or a lot of credits, which some people don't have. So providing a cartel market option to level up crew skills instantly saves a lot of time and/or credits. Even with eight level 50 comps, it still takes a few hours if not longer to get all three skills to max level.
  11. You can disagree all you want, but until you want to contribute something useful to this thread (which you haven't), I'll just ignore you.
  12. Or maybe they forgot about it and my post was a reminder. Also, I know today is a holiday but guess what…tomorrow isn't, and I never expect them to post while they are out of office. I was just bumping this thread since it is a few months old since any movement.
  13. @EricMusco @JackieKo Any update or any more thought on this topic???
  14. I was wondering if it would be possible to have the ability to instantly level crew skills if we have the achievement titled “Renowned Craftsman” completed?
  15. That I understand, but when you put reputation associated with the new areas, and you only have one or two people that can get the rep, it makes for a really long, unnecessary grind for that reputation and for conquest objectives since ones that haven't been through the story will never be able to do those objectives.
  16. So, another update that is unfriendly to players having more than a couple alts. If you allowed players with multiple alts to skip content based on legacy achievements (meaning if I've completed the story at least once on imp and rep side) it would make more people want to go to the new planets and not have them be empty two weeks after they are released.
  17. Do I have to complete the story up to Manaan to start Showdown on Ruhnuk, or will I be able to skip all the onslaught story and the flash points associated with it? I have 30+ characters, and having to complete the story on all of them is very time-consuming for something I've experienced already.
  18. Here is how to use it: Have Phalanx out as a comp, find targetable gambler NPCs and wait for a channel of 'Acting suspicious' Click on them and the granted ability
  19. Hello, I was wondering why there was a change to how many cartel coins are given to subscribers this Galactic Seasons? It changed from getting 4,000 cartel coins down to 2,000.
  20. I agree with this. The damage output of HK isn't tuned correctly, comparable to the health of all the enemies. I remember when this was originally released, it wasn't this difficult, and you could easily one-shot normal enemies with the assassinate ability, and now it doesn't take them down to 50% health.
  21. I agree, there have been good points brought up and honestly multiple people within this thread have pitched ideas for them as well which in my opinion are totally doable. I get what you're saying here. I'm not asking for an option to skip the story as a new player or even a returning player. What I am asking for is something that looks at your achievements (in this case, the achievement titled "Master of the Seas" which you only get if you've completed the story on both republic and imperial) and if you've completed the newest story on both sides than it will give you an option on your ship's terminal to skip to LotS. This would keep new players and returning player from jumping into the new story immediately.
  22. Bioware isn't throwing away the decision, the PLAYER would have to make the choice to either skip the story or not. I don't know how many times I have to say that it is up to the player to make this decision. I also said that all the Saboteur decision are predetermined and Bioware knows what options to pick to keep the Saboteur path going forward or not. So it could be done in a way to not lose progress if you decide to skip the story.
  23. I believe it would be the objectives listed like "Balmorra:Saboteur Spy Games" which is to deploy stealth droids, which I've never done as a saboteur since it worth the time invest for the amount of points it is worth.
