As you guys can see from the past seasons, people have done all kinds of exploits to acquire and maintain top 3. A guy named Krubb on my stream suggested to remove top 3 and add a higher tier. Keep the classic bronze, silver and gold brackets but add something higher. For example, Tier-3 (Bronze): 1300-1499 Tier-2 (Silver): 1500-1749 Tier-1 (Gold): 1750-1999 Platinum: 2000+ or 2400+ (I think 2000+ is reasonable) This should clear up some of the toxicity between ranked players on who does and doesn't deserve top 3 and also relieve the need for people to cheat (backfill/decline pops) to get top 3.

Solo ranked is ruined to be honest, at least until they fixed the decline bug where you don't lose rating. Also remove top 3 and add a higher bracket that requires 2400+ rating.

Also Prum is a legit top 3 operative, so listen to him if he has tips.

Take a look at "Ask Reborn" on the Assassin leaderboards from the previous season. He received his Top 3 without any kind of punishment. I know most of the top 3 players and some are legit, some are not. Bioware won't ban you longer than a week.

You're right, let's just admit it. You can decline ranked pops without losing rating, it is very easy to abuse that and sync with friends. Bioware tried to fix backfilling and introduced another problem that is just as bad.

Is it Zurretsa or Asana? They queue sync all the time on Imp side here on SF. There is just so many at this point that it's kind of demotivating to queue, I can't imagine how bad season 10 will be.

Ever since Legitana moved his bots from SF to DM it seems that the syncing has gotten worse over there. I'm sorry that you guys have to deal with that. Legitana/Furitana is also selling his account on EpicNpc at the end of the season and he is advertising it as having "Two Top 3s". Hope Bioware doesn't give him anything.

Your graph looks like a normal graph, it's similar to mine (https://i.imgur.com/Kud1lPk.png). The one I posted on the first page is the graph of someone who backfills. Only backfilling would create a graph like that.

I agree, the first one actually moved to Star Forge later on to farm more rating since it was easier at the beginning of the season, but he still did a bit of backfilling regardless. Also, Ignikis and Whataburger are the same person and I know for a fact that he's absolute garbage at shadow/assassin. Don't let Whataburger's high amount of wins fool you, he backfilled and then started playing normally to make the rating look believable.

I actually was in a match with this guy last night as he used an alternate Shadow account as tank to throw for him. All of this was done overnight, kind of pathetic honestly. I'll let you guys figure it out. The state of ranked in this game. You can only achieve that kind of smoothness on the graph if you win without losing a single match or after your first ten matches.

What exactly did the nerfs accomplish? People will still run DPS gear on tank because actual tank stats are useless. I just tried out my shadow and it's still performing well.

Given that Alex Modny isn't active on the PvP section anymore could we get any kind of feedback on the end of Season 9 ranked and its rewards? Most of us have been waiting patiently for a few months now. Any sort of news would be nice.

I agree with this as well. I'm 2k+ rated, but I still think tier-1 should be around 1650-1700, not 1750.
