I agree that condensing some of the servers would be a good idea.

My main server is Wound in the Force and I am on the Republic side. I'm not 50, but I have a lvl 40, a 37, and a couple teens. I rarely ever run into Imperials. I ran into some a few times on Nar Shaddaa, which was my first experience, then a couple on Tattoine, and I think I ran into one, maaaybe two on Alderaan. I didn't run into a single one on Balmorra. I put it in my head that maybe everyone is 50 and once I get to 50, I will start having open world fights, but then I remembered some of the other games I've come from where a big part of the fun is running into people while out doing missions and leveling and fighting there. I am enjoying the playstayle of the game and the story, but wondering where everyone is? Is it my server, or are other people experiencing this? I created an Imperial on Rakata Mind Prison to see if it's any different, but I'm only in my teens so far.

Good points, especially on the new races with expansion. That's 2 good reasons for 8/0 and so far no reason to do a 4/4 that I can see.

So when I started playing, I made 4 republic and 4 imperial on the same server, which seemed to make sense given there are 4 types of characters for each faction; however, now seeing that each type can be split into two classes, I'm wondering if there's really any advantage to having 4/4, or if I should do an 8/0, then do a 0/8 on another server. The advantage of doing 8/0 would be I can really trade loot around between my characters, but I can't really think of any advantage to 4/4 now. What are you guys doing? Just looking for any advantages/disadvantages I haven't considered. Thanks!
