  1. It's not just self-destructors. It's also the "fly in a circle at the spawn point during domination matches" players too. I made a separate thread about that, because I felt it's a separate issue, but it is related. The best rewards are being put into certain content to motivate players to play that content. But there are a lot of people who really don't like GSF. Or, like someone in my guild, gets severe vertigo while playing GSF. Whatever the reason, this is what you get when you "force" people into content they don't want to play. The same thing is happening with the quality of PvP right now. It's the fastest way to charge the Neuro-key, so players who couldn't care less about PvP are joining matches and memeing, which is screwing up the content for those who are actually trying to get weeklies and stuff. And I get that there are "multiple paths" to get gearing, but GSF takes less than half the time to get the same IR gear. I can't imagine trying to grind FP's or Ops right now, especially with how the difficulty of MM and NiM content has scaled in 7.0. If someone gave me the "option" of removing my leg or taking an antibiotic, it's not really much of a choice....
  2. I saw that post, which deals mostly with self-destructors. I see AFK'ers as slightly different issue.
  3. So, I've been playing this game for awhile. First time posting in the forums (minus one post about a PTS bug I noticed once). I really do enjoy the game, in spite of some minor bugs. So, I'm one of what's probably a rare breed: people who really enjoy GSF. And with GSF being the new best way to obtain gear/tech frags, I was pretty excited about the additional players. And I've had a lot of really fun matches as I complete my weeklies on each toon. The issue lately has been the sheer number of people who come into a match, park their ship, and collect their "reward" for losing. While there is a vote kick option for inactive players, almost no one is using it. Today, for example, I was in two domination matches today where at least 3 people on my team had no kills, no assists, a couple of deaths, and no more than 1 medal (usually from those who parked their ship at a control point). At least two of these in each match were identified as "not contributing." I clicked to vote kick, but they stayed through the end of the match. There's got to be a better system for policing people who have no interest in doing GSF and are just there to farm the weekly without contributing to the team. In my opinion, it's too similar to "win trading" in PvP to farm RPM's, which has historically been dealt with pretty harshly.
  4. So, I worked my way through the origin story for my PTS baby toon, and here's my biggest gripe (and that of several friends as well): Leveling is *brutal* in regards to the pace abilities are rolled out. I made it as far as level 35-ish before I went to Onderon to boost myself to 80. I get that the goal was to reduce ability bloat, but what we have instead are unserviceable player characters stretched out over the length of the story. I would rather see players get the bulk of their abilities earlier and have more time with them so that new players can adjust to a rotation, etc. I think it'd make for a much more pleasant leveling experience!
  5. So, the Satele Shan holotrainer is available on the Cartel Market, which is pubside only. But the Malgus holotrainer is no long available, and there are no cross-faction holotrainers available for purchase either. Why are there no impside options for holotrainers available?
  6. Except that we've had groups that, several times, have had items not show up in the chat log, which results in everyone in the group having to search their inventory for the items. I feel like a better solution to this would be asking a group leader what their loot policy is and making a decision to join the group or not based on that instead of changing the whole loot system for everyone. This can't possibly be a widespread issue, as I can only see this being an issue in NiM content or Duxn.
  7. In a different direction.... If only they had created LEAVE PENALTIES and the ability to block underperforming players and have them excluded from future queues. Would it slow down the queues for wz's? Possibly. Would I have many fewer headaches: definitely!
  8. Ours is also an RP guild! Other contacts are: Kyr'am'ur (O) Nuda (O)
  9. Another thing in response to Zu's comment. First off, YES. Incredibly well worded and accurate response, and I totally agree! I think the biggest way we can curb the difference in guild "personalities" is to police it as GM's; make guildies actions the responsibilities of the GM's. Once all the guild leaders come to consensus, which will hopefully be the end result of this summit, we need to agree to police our guildmates to preserve the integrity of what we're trying to do. I'd also make the suggestion that we need to limit this to 55's who are in guilds. "Free agents" are just a little to unpredictable. If they want to be a part, they can join a guild to do so. I imagine this is something we can discuss at the actual summit
  10. Also, <The Betrayed> would be willing to host this on our TS, if needed. However, we might need to limit it to one representative per guild, as our TS can only hold 25 members.
  11. I'm Necronomicon of <The Betrayed> Our guild website is stothebetrayed.enjin.com I was speaking with the guildmaster for <Bane of the Republic> about this same topic! I'll see if I can't get her to post as well. Excited that this is starting up!
