Just got a Legacy Light saber which only has a crystal and no other slots for a hilt, mods, etc. I did add an augmentation slot but that doesn't seem do it. Any guidance here appreciated.

I just got one of my toons to level 50 and thought to take advantage of the level 50 basic gear vendors on the fleet supply floor. I had over 20+ basic commendations in hand to spend. Interestingly when I when to make a purchase on gear, I got an "you don't have enough funds" or some such flashing message. Question is - what sort of commendations are required to purchase there and where do I get them. Just to make things clear, this vendor was in the next room to the Corellia planetary vendor Thanks in advance for your responses.

I made a Jedi Sentinel (Combat path discipline-wise) that I have leveled up to 46 and recently signed up for a flashpoint. I was getting my butt wiped all over the map by 42 lvl toons (sith mobs) and catching serious sh*t from the other group members. This was definitely a first for me! I've noticed he's been kind of anemic on various planetary missions on Belsavis but most especially after the skills/discipline switch. As a point of reference, I have tried to keep him geared up as close to max as possible - e.g.: 500 chest armor - 108 rating 290 glove - 100 rating 284 waist - 98 rating 500 trouser - 108 rating 290 boots - 100 rating Dual light sabers: 501/470 - 116/112 rating I've noticed that now the discipline I selected is showing damage rather than tank as I was before. Is this simply a play style issue or a gearing issue? Just venting a bit because this is the first toon I've gotten up this high and that flashpoint was truly humiliating! any suggestions welcomed.

I ran into to the same issues on this one as well. My only solution was to level up higher than just one or two above. I suggest you find other things to do on Alederaan/Do flashpoints, etc. to get yourself pumped up. Doing this at lvl 33 was viable and I was using the same toon as you described

if you change from slicing to another skill, will you be able to open/see any more lock boxes? I was guessing no.

I know you can get "standard" upgrades there but can you get cartel (purple) ones there too?

I just purchased a cartel chest armor piece and wondered if it can be upgraded. If so, where do you find the advanced upgrade components/gear?
