  1. Well, basically the reason to play a sage right now is to heal. I think they're still a pretty decent heal spec, but dps-wise, there's no upside whatsoever.
  2. I'd strongly argue to pick the spec you want to run at max all the way up there. Solo content is really easy to handle while leveling and that way you can get to know your abliities as they come and feel your rotation grow "naturally" while going through the spec tree, you'll have a much easier time handling your spec in endgame if you've played it all the way since Lvl 1, and every Sentinel spec is able to handle everything the game throws at you on the way there, easily.
  3. I think you have to ask someplace else around that, this thread has always been about PvE stats.
  4. And if you want to actually use the lightsaber, avoid Sorcerer. They have a lightsaber, but it's just cosmetic.
  5. Um, if you take one look at the first couple pages of this forum, I'm not so sure how "chill" a time they would have if they were playing the game and get recognized as developers.
  6. As much as I'd love KOTOR3, your logic is seriously flawed. Right now, a lot of people are paying them every month to play the game. Turning it into a single player game would require them to invest massive amount of time and money to then get the equivalent of like, less than half a years worth of subscription money, once. How does this translate into "more money" in any way?
  7. I honestly feel like it would've been better to do away with CXP for gold mobs completely rather than nerf it to 1. That 1 point doesn't matter anyway, and it always feels like some developer is laughing at me every time that 1 CXP pops up...
  8. Same for me, I didn't even get deep into my rotation with lightning sorc most of the time because everything just kept dying, and I'm really not that good. My money is still on this being veteran mode one way or another. And yeah, one time early on Voss a bonus mission popped up to kill some enemies/save your allies, before I could even move toward them the bonus mission had already completed because my allies had saved themselves in like 5 seconds.
  9. If you want to play Sorc in endgame, you have to go heal, dps-wise, they're just about the worst right now. Sin seems to be OP right now because they get some double bonus shenanigans but I'd expect that not to last too long.
  10. Okay I didn't get any of that on a character that definitely romanced Lana all the way through (pun intended) from SoR through KotFE. Definitely a bug here.
  11. Was there any acknowledgement of a Lana romance in KOTET? Because my main was in a romance with her in KOTFE (I know I clicked the prompt "Yes" after the cantina scene) and during the whole of KOTET I didn't get a single line of dialogue acknowledging said romance, no Flirt options, no nothing. I just thought they simply hadn't put in any specific dialogue for your love interest, or was that some kind of bug?
  12. Then please point me to the many, many completely bug-free software products you have encountered in those 30 years.
  13. The problem is that it's really tough to say something, anything at this moment. To put it in perspective: We now have Tuesday, the official launch of KOTET was on Friday. So for those higher up in the foodchain, it's quite possibly only the beginning of their second day at work since the launch. Since Friday, we've already had two downtimes for bug/exploit fixes, so identifying and fixing those things probably took up a big amount of time for quite a few people involved in the development of the game. Now, an optimist might have hope that Bioware is very well aware of the problems and know they have to make some big changes, but that just happens in a couple hours. Maybe they're debating making CXP legacy-wide right now, but even then, there's a billion things you need to check and work out to see if that's something you can simply implement short-term. Big changes take more than a couple hours to think up and through. So basically, the only thing they could say right now is "We're aware of the criticism and we know there are problems and we are working on fixing them", which I'm not sure would be a helpful thing right now because knowing this community, it would only lead to an even bigger *****torm because they didn't actually announce anything.
  14. All I'm saying is that "shutting down the game", whether it's meant literally or as in "stop doing anything but fixing bugs until they're fixed" is both not only completely unrealistic to expect from a company that in the end is trying to make profit from this game, but simply don't make any kind of sense from a development perspective. To make this clear, I absolutely do not agree with a lot of the design decisions that have been made with 5.0, I'm not sticking up to defend the current state of the game.
  15. But even then the point is simply wrong from a development perspective. If you refuse to do anything until every bug is fixed, there won't be any update, ever. Because beyond a certain complexity, there is no such thing as a bug-free software.
