  1. It's not an abbreviation of "you are." It's a contraction of "you are." Grammar police either need to-- 1. Have a few beers 2. Read some Noam Chomsky 3. Learn grammar
  2. This may be the 12 pack of Busch pounders talking, but why give out rewards for world pvp (beyond wzs)? More, why no give bonuses for players facing imbalances in terms of numbers? Maybe a reward (Comms) called, "Never tell me the odds" for players with balls enough to just pvp without all of the crying. Not huge rewards mind you, but enough to get people to mix it up.
  3. Not a scholar of rhetoric eh? No one wins an argument--they just provide more proof, or evidence.
  4. The OP's post is generally whining. My goodness, is it really that big of a deal? If you want an edge, then earn it. The buffs are a way to encourage players to try other classes. Datacron are merely way to explore each world with friends. Ugggghhhh, if this opinion is a representation of the community ... so help me ...
  5. How about they just take away recruit gear and have you grind up to BM? Would that make you happy?
  6. You are correct, but how is that the fault of the existing system?
  7. Astute observation, kudos. You get punched enough, you learn how not to get punched. Crying about it doesn't change anything.
  8. Really? That is kind of a bogus argument. Recruit gear is fine for what it is. How hard is it to get BM or WH? Not too difficult. Just play the game.
  9. I don't I have ever seen someone NOT get a badge. But that is moot. My point is that there is nothing wrong with dying as long as you learn. Too many people complain, blame or whatever .... That said, for leet jokers out there, I wish there was a way for you to get your rocks off while leaving everyone else alone. Because quite frankly you come-off d***s. Maybe an ELITE WZ? Even better an elite warzone that causes perma-death ... yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh ... 2 man enter, 1 man leave.
  10. Wow you just proved my point. Thanks for whippin' it out there, Chief. Ever try yoga? I mean it might help you to relax.
  11. Whoa Sherlock Holmes solved the mystery of PVP success, kudos. The point is there is nothing wrong with dying in pvp as you learn the game. I am more suspicious of the jagoffs who claim they don't or the ones who like to whip it out on forums to prove their self-worth (sad, because this is a game). Maybe it is a generational thing, I dunno. You learn from failure and there is nothing superficial about that.
  12. Judging by your class selection ... Well ... maybe wily is not your thing.
  13. Oh I have been loved a lot ... over, and over. That is my point. This game is about LOVE. Lot's of LOVE.
  14. I see a lot of post from people complaining about the recruit gear system or OP classes. News flash! PVP is about dying, over and over. The net effects of dying is learning to play your class (and earning some sweet BM or WH gear). Trust me, after 1000 deaths in WZs, you'll learn to become a better player. For instance, I have a full WH Sith Sorcerer. The class is a friggin glass cannon; however, if you are wily (like me) you'll learn to pick your battles and survive. Bottom-line: Stop crying and start playing.
  15. First, people were complaining about too much demand, so they added a TON of servers. A few months pass and demand drops, so people QQ about low server populations. (I am not forgetting about the impact of 1.2) Then Bioware answers the collective lament of the community and conducts char transfers. Now people are qq'ing about too much demand. That's it Bob, tell Midge that I love her ... Game over.
  16. Berry White or some Al Green will solve this problem. Just give him some sugar, baby.
  17. You should have played Star Wars Galaxies. Talk about a cluster-f of skills. I am all for choice but over-hybridization of classes can lead to massive balance issues (e.g. 1 or 2 uberspecs). TKM, Fencer anyone? CM and Pike?
  18. I loved SWG (played for 7 + years). That said, this game needs to die. Or return as a kickass sequel or have element implemented into future games.
  19. Ever try to bend light into a finite beam? How do lightsabers do this without gravity? Gaw. This game sooo dumb.
  20. Yeah he is more in the realm of avocation, not "hobby." Imagine if he could harness his energy into say something like cancer research. Cancer would be cured in like 3 weeks once he finishes leveling to 50 on advance oncology research.
  21. That's the spirit. Give em an ultimatum! Tell them you are not going to take it anymore! Give em hell! Meanwhile, I'll be playing the game.
  22. SWG had a bugged quested called "Hero of Tattooine." Picture searching 100 square mile desert for an NPC that randomly walks in circles. This was OK when the game had the Ranger class (you could use the search feature), but after NGE no dice. Took days and sometimes weeks to find him (sadly, the quest broke and there were a few people who searched and searched. They are all in a mental hospital now).
  23. No you are not in the minority. This fourm is a classic example of the "Spiral of Effects" theory. A minority voice takes over the majority voice (by being more vocal). The result is an effect that changes the perception of the majority to believe that the minority voice is actually the majority voice. This principle was used by the National Socialists to conquer Germany through nationalist propaganda. So in a very loose way ... WOWers are like fascists ... self-satisfied, spoiled little fascists, who hate freedom and more importantly, America, mom, delicious apple pie, and TOR.
  24. It was my idea. Can you believe that I have seen a dime from it?
