  1. With 600 expertise fighting a fresh lvl50 sage I can do about 50% of their total health in damage after 4 hits.

When I meet a character with equal gear, I cannot beat them, regardless of their class. Worst of all, against tank classes and marauders I cannot even take away 50% of their health at all.

As of now the only thing we can do is taking out characters on half health who run away from the pack. We can't even go healing cause both mercs and sorcs are better at that too.

I don't really understand that we do subpar damage, but have a massively low amount of defense, armor and otherwise survivability all because of stealth, which doesn't give us any real benefit to begin with?

  2. The problem is not cooldowns itself, but the fact the cooldown notifier is a bright white screen that slowly goes up like a rolling curtain. And that totally blocks my ability to see whether or not I can use certain conditional abilities like the before mentioned lacerate and stim boost.
  3. I have experienced this same thing in endgame HM at 50. The boss's stealth detection is bugged and will target you at a larger range than non-stealth will aggro the boss it's so broken. If you get targeted you have time to back away but still, this shouldn't be farther aggro than non-stealth. I feel like someone just needs to flip a + to a - somewhere

Unlike most people that wrote in this thread, Reifier is right. it's a bug. Being in stealth increases your agro range by about 20 meters compared to non stealth.

  4. My computer gave up the ghost Monday, and I am looking at replacements. I am considering an SSD (120 GB OCZ Agility 3 SATA-III) as the primary drive and, in addition to the OS, installing SWTOR there as well. I am curious as to how significant the impact on load times will be.

For reference, the rest of the system will be:

    Core-i7-2600k

    16 GB DDR3/1600MHz Kingston HyperX

2x EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

    1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Data drive)

Slightly off topic but important nonetheless:

I'd suggest to get 8 GB RAM, 4 is enough, 8 is fit for the future but 16 is a massive overkill.

Secondly get the i5-2500k, the CPU is just as fast as the 2600k, only thing is it doesn't have hyperthreading, which is fairly useless on multicore CPU's. Especially since most applications don't support or use it.

Thirdly, as a gamer, go for the GTX580. Running two 560 Ti's in SLI will not even get close to the performance of a single GTX580.

The GTX580 will be more expensive, but that's why you get 8GB of RAM and an i5-2500k instead.

  5. Aion, really? You have never played that game if you make such a bold statement.

    Abyss and Clerics, nuff said.

Anyway on topic: Resolve works fine, most abilities fill it for 50 to 75 percent, a next ability will make it fully white, so you or your target is immune. Thing is most people mistake being rooted from being stunned: learn to use ranged abilities.

Secondly some players insist on using aoe CC abilities all the time, Operatives and Marauders especially, learn to save them for when it really matters.

Thirdly, resolve fills up just as fast for any other class

  6. Really dont see much of a difference from operatives... got hit for 6k/3k/3k before i could stand on my champion geared sorc...

No you didn't. Hudden strike hits light armor for max 4k now and during our second attack you will get up and be able to fight back right as we can execute our third attack.

    L2P is what they say

  7. Bioware double u tee eff?

The very first warzone I win doesn't give credit towards my daily quest!

Rather than fixing this severe issue you broke it even harder, I'm actually seeing lots of reports regarding this gamebreaking issue in general chat as well, whereas before I hardly noticed it.

Please issue an emergency patch tomrorrow, I don't even care if it's during primetime cause I rather have my wins actually count for something.

  8. Oh and here is some quick little math based on the lol video in wich he fights lowbies. Let us assume the opponents have 15k life. At 2500 a shot *critical* he would take 9 seconds of pure cast time to kill someone. At a more realistic non critical attacks 1300 or so per shot he would take more than 20 seconds of uninterrupted straight casting to kill someone. You really going to ignore someone for that long you deserve to lose :p

*And fyi those calculations are assuming the opponent stands still, does not use any abilities or los.*

If tracer missile would crit for 2500 max, nobody would have a problem with it.

Fact is however, even against my Operative with 520 expertise it easily crits for 3k to 3.5k

Additionally they have 2 knockbacks, a snare, a powerful shield that also prevents them from being interrupted

    /GG
