  1. SWG was the worst excuse for a mmo I've ever played. I tried it for a couple weeks, uninstalled it, went back to anarchy online (yes even anarchy online was better) untill WoW released.

Anyway, theres like 25-30 people in these forums who need a friend because this game isn't working out for them.

For me SWTOR was and is the worst excuse for an MMO I've ever played. I tried it for a couple of weeks, made the mistake to pay for one month after the first free month, already uninstalled it and will probably go back to Rift.

Anyway, there's like 25-30 fanboys in these forums who keep defending the game, failing to realise how much is lacking in this game, which will inevitably lead to its demise (no paying customers is no game)

  2. I went full Deception with Khem Val.

As soon as I got Ashara I went full Darkness.

Around lvl 45 I used Talos instead of Ashara for durability and less downtime.

At level 50 I went back to full Deception for PVP.

    Madness is for sorcerers.

  3. From my own experience with SWTOR at it's current state, it will take more than 7 years of future development to reach WoW's current stage.

I would like to thank Bioware for making a very nice Kotor 3 though.

  4. #1 energy shield lasts 12 seconds every 2 mins, i wouldnt call that a gamebreaker by any means. #2 to get the power shield skill you cant get HSM which is arguably our hardest hitting skill which makes this hybrid weaker than a full arsenal spec

considering most of our rotation relies on TM buff/debuff stacking, proccing, and heat dump casting something outside of our rotation or even something in our rotation (pro tip: prematurely casting skills lowers their damage) doesnt solve this problem. nice try though

This post is almost 3d, made my head spin reading it.

  5. You wanna know whos the weakest melee in this game??

Il tell ya, DPS speced shadows/asssasins are by far the most squishy **** i've ever played

They are melee... with light armor....1 defensive skill with 2 mins CD and one "cloak of shadows" crap that last for a whole 3 secs.

Im not mentioning vanish cuz it simply wont work without the above ^....

With all the aoe and dots that fly around in WZ's its kinda impossible to survive

I have both a lvl 50 Assassin and a lvl 50 Operative and the Operative is much squishier than an Assassin, simply because it lacks defensive skills, lacks a shield and has no sprint.

However an Operative gets the ability to heal, but sadly can only really use it out of combat situations cause it's easily interrupted.

  6. Dont forget ... You cant balance players Stupidy and Random vs Premade. If they heal Gunslinger and Guard, shield im sure it is doable for almost any class.

That's exactly what a Powertech should do for instance.

  7. To some of the non believers saying that it's not a bug:

Most of us understand that bosses have a mechanic that allows them to see through stealth easier than regular mobs. We understand that and really don't care about that either.

Problem and fact however in this game is that bosses in this game, have an increased agro range on stealthed characters. For instance your mates are standing 20 meters away from the boss, you're in strealth and you walk in to a distance of 25 meters and all of a sudden you get a big yellow targeting icon and the boss agroes you. WHILE YOU ARE FURTHER AWAY.

  8. Operative healing is powerful, mercenary healing is very powerful, sorcerer healing is overpowered. If you were playing an Operative (Scoundrel) I could have agreed with your post, but a sage healer saying that healing is underpowered and Agents are too powerful?

    Good God seriously.

  9. Obviously you didn't play "that" game. Yeah you know wich one I mean. The problems SW:TOR has at the moment is nothing compared to "that" game.

At launch it was horrible and it had more downtime then uptime the first 2 months. No PvP, no end game content and bugs all over the place.

Compared to "that" this has alot more going for it considering how much the other one improved over the years.

Consider buying windows 7 with the same functionality of windows XP, before service pack 1, would you buy it? No you would not.

If a new piece of software is released it should be better than, or equal to and have the potential to be better than the current software out there.

SWTOR simply isn't better, but actually a lot worse and doesn't have the potential to become any better in the distant future. Let alone actually become better than WoW, it's just not gonna happen.

  10. Scoundrel/operative .

This thread is about 1 v 1, not about killing a sorc with no cooldowns available in group PVP.

In a straight up 1 v 1, aka duel, the Operative is one of the weakest classes. In group PVP however it works quite well to help turn a fight into your team's favor.

  11. Since every change benefits sorcerers so far, will the next patch increase healing done by healing classes? Or maybe increase the damage absorbtion from shields?

    Rant off

Anyway thing is, my Operative is a scissors class. That means I have trouble fighting rocks, such as powertechs, marauders, tank assassins or mercenaries, but I should have little trouble fighting paper classes, such as sorcerers.

Point is, for some reason sorcerers are perhaps the hardest class, their knockback has a root effect, they have two heals and a powerful regenerative ability. A shield that absorbs 4k damage, ranged stun, a snare and worst of all an incap ability when you strike them from stealth if they are out of combat.

After experiencing the ret paladin from WoW I never thought any class would be ever so overpowered as they were, but I think BW succeeded.

    I propose the following changes:

Their overall damage and healing is reduced by 50%, and instead they get a dmg and healing stance, that either doubles their dmg or healing.

When a sorc's shield is active, their dmg and healing is reduced by 50%

The cooldown on the knockback gets increased to 2 minutes so they actually have to consider when to use it.
