  1. I understand why they did it, but I'm not happy about it. They didn't make HK-51 & HK-55 share one decoration. So why should Khem & Ak'ghal share one? I want my two bodyguards. I worked hard to have them both on rank 50 and now I can't have both there? It's not my mistake people chose Zash, I shouldn't be punished for helping Khem. I have both Khem & Ak'ghal, that should mean 2 companion decorations. And saying that they're both Dashade so that means it would be pointless to make two seperate decorations is just as lame as saying that Kira and Elara should share 1 decoration sice they're both human. And it would be cool to see Zash involved in things. But they weren't able to bring back Darth Malora even after there was an option to offer her place on Odessen. So I don't think we'll see Zash any time soon.
  2. I proposed that all (beside CM) companion customizations should be Bound to Legacy. That way all players who have access to Security Key vendor could get companion customizations they want. And not only that, but also the customizations that are sold by Collector Edition Vendor. Making all non-cartel market customizations for companions Bound to Legacy would easily fix many minor inconvenience. And it would also allow us to buy customizations even for companions we already lost. (meaning: If you got rid of Kaliyo during KOTFE and later when replaying story you realize you would like to give her customization you can't as atm you can't buy any customization for companion that is not available to summon atm of browsing the vendor. Making all customizations Bound to Legacy would allow players also buy the customization for companion they are about to get, If you, just as me, are used to see certain companions look certain way, it can be frustrating to get Mako on Hutta and not be able to give her the customization kit you're used to, only because it's available on vendor above Illum where you can't get before you get your own ship at the end of Coruscant/Dromund Kass. It would also help with HK-51 customization skins received during Shadow of Revan prelude (Selkath, Republic / Imperial droid). When players skips the prelude, they no longer can get these skins. But they might have them on character that don't want to use them. If these were Bound to Legacy, players could transfer it among their characters and have greater experience.
  3. 1st learn to write less blocky texts. It makes it hard to read and the only purpose it has is to appear as if it had way more information than it has. 2nd appeal to authority fallacy - Just because Chris was on the team doesn't mean he knows what's best for the game - which we already saw. If any dev would be known for pushing something they want into the game despite majority of players not wanting it only to it then turning into disaster that drove so many players away then yes, I would not trust that guy. No matter the name. I'm sure Chris meant it in a good way - he wanted to make the game better. But with no care for what playerbase wants and how we'll react to it. Which lead to where we're now. He knew he was going againts majority of player. He took that risk and it didn't work out. Now he's saying that something is great opportunity. While he might be right, and it might be new greater era. Who will guarantee us that it's gonna be great era for players and not just for the game to turn into what he imagined the game to be. Because we already saw that what he wants this game to be is not working with what most current players want. New owners might help improve some MMO elements in this game which will please some players. However, it also might make the game less appealing to even more players. Which would result in "better" game, but will less players therefore less finance flowing back into the system to keep it alive. Resulting into slow decline and then the End. I'm also not for jumping off clifs. I simply dislike the idea of taking something said as granted only because former member of swtor dev team said it - especially if he already did hurt the community. I want this game to live, and I would love to see more content be added; even if in this smaller pace. But I'm not gonna blindly believe somebody because he said I should.
  4. Yeah.... About him... Wasn't he the one who pushed for the changes nobody asked for? Well, he and his small Discord group did ask for it. He and his small hive knew people dislike what they desired, yet he pushed his agenda into the game which lead to some of the worst decisions we saw in 7.0. So no thanks, I'm not gonna think everything is gonna get better just because somebody who helped get rid of so many players says so.
  5. Is it too late to ask Elon Musk to buy the game to save it? 😅😬 I'm not his fan, but he could hold it for a while before he would find it a better home. Any greedy corporation would be better than the one that maintains its games in vegetative state. I just don't want to see this game die... I know it's inevitable, but I imagined it would die naturally, not like this.
  6. Yes! Moraine Outpost on Balmorra (republic) is one of the places that deserves to have QT terminal. There are quest givers.
  7. Don't companions use it already? They were able to code them in a way that they simply hide the lightsaber that would stab them - Ranos hides one of her lightsaber when it would stab her head. And companions like Kira, Nadia, Xalek seem to do OK with double-bladed. No, they weren't. They were part of the Consular/Inquisitor base class. (I've been around SWTOR since 2013...) Some, but not all. Yes, but at what angle is it holding the weapon? (In some cases, nearly vertical, which would end up with the second blade's tip in the ground.) Sage doesn't have that many unique animations. The one that is really unique is probably the Salvation (healing circle on the floor). During which the lightsaber would be held funny, but wouldn't stick groud nor the character. And the rest of the spells mainly share the animation with Mind Crush which as we know used to be Jedi Consular base skill and worked with double-bladed lightsaber. There is no spell that would make the lightsaber go inside the player or ground. Well, the Saber Strike would, but it already has double-bladed animation in game which already plays the correct animation based on lightsaber you hold (if you play Shadow and don't use double-bladed lightsaber - the game automaticly decides which animation to play). And the one when the lightsaber would seriously cut player is idle animation which also would probably be effected by the what lightsaber the character holds (as it does for Shadow, where idle animation automaticly changes based on what weapon you hold) So I guess if devs would want to let Sage have double-bladed lightsaber (or even two lightsabers) they could as there would be a way to make it. The question is if they'd be willing to implement it and if there would be enought people who desire this. It's acquired at, I believe, level 72 as an option you can choose. I don't remember its name. I'm afraid it's no longer in game since 7.0. I know what spell you mean, I remember it. But I was just searching for it in game (because of the names of the spells) and I just can't find it. It might be no longer possible to learn it since 7.0. But it might be still there and I just couldn't find it.
  8. It would also help if already existing gear we can craft no longer had class restrictions. That way any class and even companions could wear it. Which would make people craft/sell/buy it.
  9. This is my problem with it. I don't mind the KOTOR style dialogue when it's needed: Like recruiting companions during KOTFE or giving Reputation to seasons companion. Having just 3 options where each is different weight to it (whether Dark / Light, Flirt, Refuse, Kill, etc). Having 8 options to get to the same result feels pointless. I'd much rather had shorter dialogues but voiced by our character, then long converations with so many options that you have to scroll down and eventually start skipping what the NPC says as it's just boring. If I want to know their whole backstory I'll read a codex about it or something. I have no nostalgia for KOTOR games, I was little child when that game was new. And I played it only recently. And I like its style, it makes KOTOR be KOTOR. But SWTOR is not KOTOR. I know SWTOR mainly exists due to KOTOR, but KOTOR should stay KOTOR and SWTOR should stay SWTOR. We already did get stuff to honor KOTOR games; various mentions, NPCs, mount, and clothing. (btw, did you notice that swtor gets less and less stuff fully voiced, while WoW keeps getting more and more content voiced?) Having shorter dialogues with less options feels better than 10 options with detailed backstory of somebody I first met and I'll never see again. And yes, I'm for using AI for droids and maybe aliens. I wouldn't even mind if we talked more often with aliens (just not the same aliens over and over - where are Evocii, Ongree, Neimoidan, Klatoonian, Arcona, Abissin, Ishi Tib, Gran, etc.) if they'd record new voice lines for them. Using same 3 or 4 voice lines for most of the aliens for the last 11 years feels like crime. Btw, this might be just something I think is cool, but How cool would it be if swtor brought fans to record new voice lines for aliens and droids. I know people complain when the voice acting isn't great, but would it really matter that much with aliens or random background characters? I mean... don't we live in a world where some people do sound weird? Would it be too weird to meet an alien who sounds sick or its voice is just all over the place. I wouldn't mind meeting an alien whose voice intonation changes - I believe it would give them more depth and uniqueness. And I know that aliens usually speak Huttese, but do we really need all the aliens to use the same 4 voice lines?
  10. I'd still love to see it happen. Consider how cool the planet is. It's shame to have so little to do there. The planet is basicly dead nowadays. The only repeatable content there is Gree event which didn't get anything new so veteran players don't really care about it anymore. It would be great to see it as an option again. It would make this planet feel more alive again. And who knows, maybe if people were there for dailies they would also consider once again participating in Gree event.
  11. Sometimes the Light/Dark points don't make sense. At least from the point of view we see it. But it can be correct based on point of view we didn't thought of. Best example you get very early on in the game is aboard Brentaal Star (Black Talon flahspoint); as an imperial character you get to spare or kill the general you're after. It gives you Light points if you don't kill him and Dark if you do kill him. Sparing him means he'll meet fate worse than death - torture. Killing him would be merciful. But killing somebody is not a good deed. Sparing lives and giving them second chance is. It's just better to not pay too much attention to it, as we can't tell for sure what point of view the author had on mind.
  12. Hi, Paxton Rall, former Subscriber reward, now obtainable via Galactic Seasons vendor. He has two major bugs that are just silly. And I know one of them was kinda worked on, but ended up being worse. (for shorter text, but with all the info just click any of the links and read the whole twitter chain) 1st (hopefully easier to fix) Paxton Rall as decoration Paxton Rall as decoration in players stronghold can be right-clicked, but unlike other companions he doesn't say his voice lines, instead he starts a bugged cutscene with camera fixed to weird angle and Paxton sitting in air. This happens no matter what character you're on or in which stronghold you are. It always starts the cutscene that should not be there. video of this: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1662074975677829122 solution I propose: Disable this cutscene for Paxton Rall in player strongholds. Instead when right-clicked make him say his voice lines. 2nd (not important) Paxton Rall as active companion says no lines when right-clicked Paxton Rall as an active companion says no voice lines when right-clicked. When you hower over him with your cursor the icon of the cursor changes into the speech bubble as it does with rest of companions (not CM creatures & droids). However, when you do right-click him he remains silent instead of playing/saying his various short voice lines. I see this as bug, because the companions who do not offer any voice lines can't be right-clicked / cursor icon does not change into speech bubble - with Paxton it does. video of it: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1663064180646084608 solution I propose: Make Paxton Rall when summoned as active companion say random voice lines when player right-clicks him. 3rd (the main reason I'm here) Paxton Rall's introduction cutscenes no longer makes sense + buggy Paxton Rall when introduce into game as a companion (not just NPC) had his recruitment cutscene take place on Odessen inside cantina where he can be seen standing till this day. Video of Paxton's recruitment cutscene inside Odessen cantina: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1662075015334965248 After a while there was added second NPC of Paxton Rall on Odessen; this time in Hylo Visz's quater inside player's base - this NPC represented already recruited companion Paxton Rall. He could be seen sitting next to Nico Okarr. This new NPC was bugged. It offered friendly cutscene for players who already recruited him (it had differnt introduction than the recruitment cutscene) - in this cutscene player character sat inside Nico Okarr. Video of player sitting inside Nico while interacting with Paxton inside base: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1662075022347845632 This bug of player sitting inside Nico was later fixed, but it also brought more trouble. Paxton Rall's recruitment cutscene was moved from Odessen cantina to Hylo Visz's quater where Paxton Rall is now seen even before you accept the recruitment mission The decision to make the introduction of Paxton Rall in Hylo Visz's quater inside player's base was not smart as his voice lines no longer makes sense: During the introduction he also introduces us to his crew which is not present down inside player's instace. Making him look a bit silly. Video of recruitment with Paxton introducing people that aren't there: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1662074984188071936 NPC Paxton Rall which used to be part of his recruitment to this day is still present in Odessen cantina standing among his crew where the recruitment cutscene should take place, but it no longer does. Paxton Rall NPC in Hylo Visz's quater inside player's base is now no longer present for players who recruited him. Leaving the Paxton Rall NPC inside Odessen cantina be the only NPC we can find. Even tho the NPC of Paxton inside the player's base was to represent already recruited Paxton as many other NPCs of our companions do. It is also not possible to get rid of Paxton Rall (both as companion and NPC). If you happen to tell Paxton that you don't want him, instead of leaving he still hangs in Hylo Visz's quater inside player's base where he'll keep offering you his recruitment mission. Video of Paxton hanging in Hylo Visz's quater inside player's base after telling him No: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1662074988441092099 Paxton Rall offered friendly repeatable cutscene for players who recruited him. Before second NPC of Paxton was added, this second cutscene took place in Odessen cantina as well. Video of Paxton's second cutscene in Odessen cantina: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1662075019139088386 When the sit inside Nico Okarr bug was fixed, and Paxton's recruitment cutscene was relocated inside player's instance, players who recruited Paxton Rall now only saw 1 NPC of Paxton Rall on Odessen. Paxton Rall still offered (and to this day offers) second cutscene. This cutscene was also relocated inside player's base in Hylo Visz's quater. But the NPC is not there, it stands in cantina. Which introduced the biggest bug that Paxton Rall suffers. Video of player's teleportation during cutscene: https://twitter.com/AshiaSature/status/1662075031298494466 solution I propose: 1) Make Paxton Rall's recruitment cutscene once again take place inside cantina on Odessen where his crewmates are present so when he introduces them it makes sense. 2) Make NPC of Paxton Rall in Hylo Visz's quater inside player's base be only present/visible for players who already recruited him. 3) Make the second cutscene after you recruit Paxton Rall be a thing only for the NPC inside player's base (for this you need the NPC be present there once more)
  13. This is the most frustrating thing about PVP atm for me. The matchmaking is not good, and all it does is it makes the same groups with the same people. But one team is pre-made group of 8 who know what they're doing and you're stuck on team with 5 random people (5, because 1 always leaves to not see the slaughter) who are there just to complete their weekly. It just kills the whole concept random PVP match. You get one group that gets points and stuff for not much work, while the other group of random players leaves with little to nothing and no desire to do PVP ever again. Reducing pre-made group to 4 players max will not fix matchmaking, but it would give a chance to players who are newer to PVP or are simply not interested in making group with Elite players.
  14. It would be interesting to see the UI adjusted into something more friendly towards players with most of their companions rank 50. But making it wider doesn't do it for me. You eventually achieved nothing. What the UI needs is todgable selection for 'All' 'On mission' 'Waiting'. That way you could see just the companions that are doing something without scrolling down. It also could try use similar system GTN has and offer the option to list them acording to 'Rank - Lowest to Highest' 'Rank - Highest to Lowest'; 'Alphabetical - A to Z' 'Alphabetical - Z to A'.
