  1. The first character to reach 25 gets 5 packs, the first character to reach 50 gets 10 more. After that the rest reaching those levels means nothing. So make sure you new favorite is first because they will be stuck with all the good stuff for the rest of eternity. But hey, my Sniper looks cool in a Reaven maks and belt...
  2. Ironically this event may be why I end up leaving SWTOR for good. I knew all along I would not get the final level, heck I have been playing casually for years and have not done all the FPs in that time, what are the chances I get them done during this event. Then good luck finding a FP group that won't vote to kick you as soon as they find out you are new to a FP.
  3. I had never thought of that, but still have to use real money to unlock.
  4. Is there a companion outside of the Personal WarDroid that uses the cannon?
  5. If you get the full set, and not an Upper of one and a lower of a different one and the supplement of 3 different ones. not to mention to unlock them requires I give BW even more of my hard earned money to use something I earned in their stupid event. In total I have different parts of 5 different armor sets, but not a single whole set. How does an agent unlock an assault cannon?
  6. I thought it was a great idea till I found the "rewards" are bound to a single character and after opening 15 boxes found nothing that character can actually use so now I have a whole lot of useless stuff in my ship's hold and nothing new worth a darn. They ruined the event by making the items bound to a character vice a legacy.
  7. I was actually excited about this event when news came out, but after opening 15 boxes and receiving nothing useable by the character they are bound to for all eternity i am so pissed off I don't even want to play the game anymore.
  8. For the level 50 "reward" I got nothing useful at all. I am an Agent and there was a assault cannon, a blaster pistol 3 sets of assorted "supplemental" armor and some sith lord looking upper armor. All of it is bound and 100% useless on the current character. Cant even wear it and unlock it since I didn't get any full sets. I agree with the poster above, this is not random, this is done by design, odds are that after 15 crates I would get at least one thing my current character could use. I still cannot believe they did nto make them bound to legacy. This is beyond incompetent.
  9. At least make it bound to legcy so I can give it to a character of my own that will use it. I am ok with not being able to sell it on the GTN
  10. Will the rewards for hitting level 25 ever get "unbound"? What good does it do to have Reaven's Helmet and Belt on a sniper?
  11. Is there a bug that causes items you put up for sale to disappear? I had 3 pages of itmes, including the new mount from the Revenge Cartel pack (can't remember what it is called) and they have all just vanished with no money and no items being mailed back to me.
  12. I think they are wondering who it is you freed and if there will be more to it in future chapters. It is an odd bonus mission and they do give the name of who you are freeing, which leads one to think they might be important.
  13. There is no PVE outside of Operations (do those count as PVE?) that cannot be beaten by any class using any build. There was a time when fights were a challenge, now they are just there to progress the story
  14. you know what you call a LS sith? A Jedi
  15. Same basic numbers on two servers, The Bastion and The Harbringer. The numbers above were from the Bastion, this morning I tried the Harbringer and found the same basic numbers. less than 10 people on Ord Mantel and less than 50 on the Fleet. These are the servers I have played on for years and never saw numbers this low, ever. I am sure the faithful will just tell me those servers suck, but since every server in the country has the same population of "light" I find it hard to believe any are radically better.
  16. After chapter 10 was such a disappointment I let by subscription lapse and took some time off. Played some other games and thought I would come see how SWTOR was doing and see what the next chapter was like. I hate the restrictions on free to play so I put in for a month subscription. WOW, this game is dead. 14 people on Hutta, 43 people on the Fleet. I have not yet done the next chapter, but will. I was just blown away by the complete lack of people.
  17. For the first time I am going to have to agree with this, and I never thought I would say it. Chapter 10 was too short and too boring and the only thing thing that happened was Koth left. I was a founder, left for a year and have been back and playing regularly ever since. Well until chapter 10 came out, after I played it once I was like "that was not worth waiting 4 plus months for." The HK helmet is an insult. This game is popular because it has Star Wars in the name, the game itself has become terrible
  18. I like it the way it is. I have 7 characters right now, 5 at 65 and two I started to do more FPs with, a tank and a healer. So I can get 7 contracts a day for a week plus multiple "Boss" level contracts.
  19. I have been playing SWTOR for a long time and just recently started doing FPs and more WZs. Not a huge fan of high level PVP, but I am really enjoying FPs. I created two new characters just for doing FP, a JK tank and a Sorc healer. I am new to both in FPs, and I am sure I have made my share of mistakes, but I understand the basic purpose/role of both. While playing the tank i have found most people playing healer understand their role, but as healer it is amazing how many "tanks" think they are there only for DPS. Just did Ilum with two tanks, my healer and a DPS. Neither of the tanks ever "tanked" and as such my healer was the favorite target of the baddies. Then they get upset when I am spending all my time healing myself instead of them. Learn the role or don't qui for the role, seems a good rule to live by.
  20. The bigger question is why come on here and make a goodbye post? Is this just some desperate attempt at attention? Is the OP hoping that we will all beg them to stay?
  21. I wish BW would also, but this is no longer a priority for them as it does show. The game is not perfect but I am still having fun. The day I am no longer having fun I will move on...and I wont even make a post about it on the forums.
  22. Any suggestions for MMO style games to try? I have tried a bunch and yet still end up back here.
  23. Love how people who "unsub" and hate the game so much still want to come and be a part of the forum. Here is a tip that might save you some time in the future, nobody cares about your opinion of the game. Those of us who still sub and play the game do so because we enjoy it still. Your opinion of the game has zero impact on that enjoyment, or maybe it makes it even more enjoyable knowing that you will be gone, once you quit hanging on for dear life to the forum.
  24. Didnt say that WOW was not "easy" but that SWTOR is so much more so. Leveling and combat in SWTOR is much simpler than WOW. A new character can leave their starting world at level 15 after less than an hour or so of game time.
