  1. knowing this company it will be cartel coins only and 5,000 at the least.
  2. If growing up means living a life of not doing the things you love, then I will gladly never grow up.
  3. Seems like a lot of this game's problems come from trying to keep classes viable in both PvP and PvE. Why does Bioware always change the classes when they find PvP imbalances? Why not just make it so the powers act different in PvP then they do in PvE? Example: Weaker heals with slower cool downs while in PvP but they stay the same in PvE.
  4. August sounds right, I don't think they want to start season 9 until the class changes are in place.
  5. David Mack - I really like his Star Trek books especially the Destiny Trilogy. Glen Cook - The Black Company series is a great medieval fantasy(swords and sorcery) story about a company of mercenaries that do whatever needs doing for the right price but they get involved with some people even they think are too evil. I could see him writing a great Sith story.
  6. I have to agree. I think Maras themselves are pretty well off but the other classes are so over powered as to make Maras look weak by comparison. I would however love a push or pull so I can be a little more helpful to my team in Huttball. A pull would also help us deal with the range classes better.
  7. Are we really surprised? EA doesn't care they buy studios and/or IPs, milk them dry then move on to the next thing. I say let Disney take the licence back and either do it themselves or give it to a company that actually gives a ****. Here Lies SSX 2000- 2012 Here Lies Mass Effect 2007 - 2017 Here Lies Dragon Age 2009 - 2014 Here Lies SWTOR 2011 - Maxis (SimCity) - Purchased by EA in 1997; shut down in 2015 Mythic (Dark Age of Camelot) - Purchased by EA in 2006; shut down in 2014. Bullfrog (Syndicate, Dungeon Keeper) - Purchased by EA in 1995; shut down in 2001. Origin (Ultima, Wing Commander) - Purchased by EA in 1992; shut down in 2004. Westwood (Command & Conquer) - Purchased by EA in 1998; shut down in 2003. DreamWorks Interactive/Danger Close/EA Los Angeles (Medal of Honor) - Purchased by EA in 2000; shut down in 2013. Phenomic (SpellForce, BattleForge) - Purchased by EA in 2006; shut down in 2013. Black Box Games (Need for Speed, Skate) - Purchased by EA in 2002; shut down in 2013. Pandemic (The Saboteur) - Purchased by EA in 2008; shut down in 2009. PlayFish (The Sims Social) - Purchased by EA in 2009; shut down in 2013. NuFX (NBA Street) - Purchased by EA in 2004; shut down in 2007.

    Your game sucks

I get that PvP is a very lox priority. If it's anything like most MMOs only something between 2 to 10% of the players do any PvP and 1 to 2% do it often. However what PVP can teach DEVs is about class imbalances that carry over into the PvE game. While I do enjoy my Mara in PvE having used it allot in PVP has shown that I simply can't keep up even in PvE content. Can I do well? sure. but I can't do as well as other classes can. It really is disappointing that they seem to have given up on the Holy Trinity of MMOs, TANK, DAMAGE, HEAL. Some classes can do all three well while others barely can do one. Also Bioware has a very bad record with games lately and people can see the writing on the wall. Dragon Age is all but dead, Mass Effect is on a "Break" SWTOR may not be around by this time next year if they don't change whatever is happening in that company. My guess is that they are doing what allot of corporations due when they don't make as much money as they used to. They look for quick cash grabs instead of long term revenue. They cut funds and look for ways to save money instead of coming up with new things to get people interested in the product. They like most corps don't understand that people spend money because they like the product. Don't focus on trying to make money. Focus on making a fun product that people WANT to spend money on.

    Your game sucks

I agree the game is in bad shape but this is not the best way to tell them your displeasure. What improvements do you want to see? What fixes do you think would improve things?
  10. This is an issue I have with the game. They want new players but as someone who did not play from the start I can see why new people would be turned off by this game. It has a lot of stuff that you can never get if you weren't here when it was originally offered. If you were new would you really want to invest in a game that you know will never allow you to get a bunch of stuff just because your new?
  11. A New Hope was released on May 25, 1977
  12. 90 day plus cartel coins is the best deal for what you get with it but if you don't think you will be able to play after a month then it may not be the best deal for you.
  13. I hope things turn out well but I don't think it will. It really does not matter if Keith himself is new, the game has been messed up for months and nothing was done to fix it during the last guy's run. Why should the new guy be any different? He might be but I have no reason to think it. Let also not forget that this is just the roadmap that will only tell us what they want to do. We have no idea when or if those things will actually happen. I think the big issue is that Bioware and EA are worried about making money and that's all they focus on. It's a business of course it has to make money but that's not what you focus on. If the company is just in it to make a buck and don't care how, we players pick up on that and we lose interest in the game. Focus on making a fun game that people WANT to spend money on. At this point I'm leaning toward asking Disney to take the license back and restart fresh on a new SW MMO that Disney has more control over content and story wise. Might even lead to the game being made canon. I truly hope SWTOR can pull out of the hole it dug itself but given EA's track record of ruining games.(Mass Effect, The Sims, SSX, Dragon Age, Command and Conquer) I don't think it's very likely.

  15. There is only one requirement to be able to access the new story content in 5.2, the character must be level 70. You do not need to have an active subscription to play the story content, but in order to have a level 70 you must have subscribed since KOTET launched. Also, normal restrictions still apply, so you must be a subscriber to access the Gods from the Machine Operation. The character does not need to have completed KOTFE or KOTET to play the new story. However, it is highly recommended that you have. There will be spoilers to those storylines if you have not played them. Also, if you have not completed KOTFE and KOTET, default choices will be assumed in the new storyline which may not match your preference. Playing Iokath will not affect your KOTFE or KOTET gameplay in any way (such as advancing the story, etc). To launch the new storyline, head to your ship’s Mission terminal where you can accept the Mission “The Forgotten World.” http://dulfy.net/2017/03/27/swtor-accessing-iokath-5-2/
