The problem here is that you're comparing your goals and experiences with the game to these people's. If they want to do that, have at it. It doesn't really affect your game experience, does it? Personally, I prefer to level through the content and enjoy the story and the challenges along the way. I like having goals to work toward and problems to think through that I can't just overpower. Some people have the opposite goals in mind when they boot up the game, and that's fine. Let them eat cake. It's not a big deal.

Hello folks. I love this toon, and PVE is fun, but I can't seem to make this build work in PVP. I've asked in general chat if it's even viable, and they assure me it is, but naturally - being mid-game as I ask - not many people have had any time to give me an idea how to work it effectively. The problem being that while I enjoy the tanking, this toon just doesn't seem to dish out the pvp damage necessary to make it competitive. I am looking at gearing up further, but surely it's more than just that. Is there anything I should know? Any experienced Consular/Shadow/Tank PVPers who could share their tips with me? I'd much appreciate it. ^_^
