  1. wow, thats really cool, i am looking forward to that. i wonder what a bomber would do, considering everything is in space (unless....) although i don't have a gunship because i was two or three days late, even though i am a subscriber and purchase cartel coins frequently, but i snoozed and i loosed.
  2. i know when the release is for the other levels of account status. i have already read that link before, but it doesn't mention anything the the actual story, it just talks about the features and what you do in it. if it does and i read over it then im sorry for making an honest mistake and made a non-threatening thread pointing it out.

GSF has a lot of pros and a lot of cons, but the biggest complaint would be the story. how did all of the classes, most of which aren't even part of their faction's military, get fancy starships and participate in vital operations. SWTOR is just one massive story, so why isn't there a simple explanation for their second-ever expansion? anyway this isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice considering SWTOR is all about quality.
  4. i still buy packs for the pets, mounts, companion gifts, XP boosters, but especially the credit boosts, those make things alot more interesting. i buy artifact equipment at my current planet and it rocks!
  5. i agree, there is no winning to the game because it is just a big story. there are also very few instances where players actually fight one other outside of PvP matches. however, i don't think that it would be a big deal if you could buy slight advantages for spending money on the game, but not so much that it ruins it for everyone else. even if you were a major PvP kinda guy, once you level up, say, three levels, that piece pretty much becomes worthless, and you just hand it down to your companions or sell it.
  6. i do get lots of planetary commendations, but not enough for a whole armor set. then have to buy brand new mods for that whole set when i move to a new planet.
  7. i don't like how all of the items from the packs and bought off of the equipment page are empty orange quality pieces with no stats of their own. i understand that you can keep it with you forever if you keep the mods up to date, but i would really like it if they came equipped with level-appropriate mods just to make them workable. maybe the packs could give you planetary commendations so that you can buy your own. to think that we are paying real money to buy these things, you would expect something more than a cosmetic husk.
  8. the xp from warzones is around 25% better if your legacy boosters of the two are at the same level. probably because GSF is so much cooler that they wanted to coax people into playing more ground. i personally use different characters for a single ship so i can just log in as that one and kick butt. if xp and req are what you are looking for the dailies and weeklies are your best friends. hope that helped:mon_cool:
  9. i was two days late for my gunship, so i don't know what they are like. i do know that it takes a long time to blow them up unless they are sitting still. i can't get to them normally because when they are on my sensors i do not know if they are facing me, and if they do they destroy me very quickly. that is the thing with my mid-level scout (the imperial strike fighters are hideous) is that it destroyed in the first several shots. i have level-3 reinforced armor, but it doesn't do much. it is true that the strikes have overpowered engines, but the cool-down on the engines levels things out. the gunship's rail gun is also overpowered, same as the level 1 cluster missiles on strike fighters. it takes me a second to lock on and the cool down is tiny. i have to get close and it doesn't do much, but 25 shots is more than enough to last until my death.
  10. my problem with the game is the 'capture and defend' thing, it makes it pretty much like every warzone in existence, in space. i just want to blow up ships or maybe refineries, bases, etc.
