  1. I should have emptied my legacy banks. Hopefully the magic overflow tab button will be patched in soon so I can get my legacy weapons back.
  2. Where is the red button for legacy overflow supposed to be? I know I had more stuff than would fit into one legacy on the english EU servers but am not seeing it when I open legacy storage and my inventory.
  3. First I want to give you all acknowledgement for making a new operation. I honestly never thought I'd see another in the game. So thanks for that. As for Iokath, will you be able to play it without finishing the Eternal Throne story? How about recruiting either Quinn or Elara? Will that be doable for a character that just leveled to 70 and never touched KOTFE or KOTET?
  4. Also missing the extra referral coins here. Had a friend that subscribed with a new account use my referral link on the 2nd and I got the initial 600 coins for that. The 500 bonus ones for re-subscribing myself came through, but not the bonus ones for their referral.
  5. Having an event that has people level at least two new characters for the new companion, and as many as eight total, then having character slots at 50% off a couple weeks later after they were only 25% for the first week is an insult. After people bought slots to be able to complete everything, this comes off as either extremely poor planning or greed on Bioware's part. Of which I'm not sure which is worse.
  6. Thank you for this. I was wanting to start playing on the EU side, but the daunting task of having to re-do everything outside of collections unlocks kept me from trying it. If the requirement to get EA to approve this and go through whatever legal means was pricing it at 1500 coins, I'm fine with that. It beats not having the option at all.
  7. I didn't argue against displeasure of the game's content release cycle/choices because I agree that it is a problem. However I think Bioware realizes that, which is why they put out the open producer letter this past week. I'm not going to praise them for the direction the game has took overall, but I also realize they only have so many resources to work with and have to do the best they can with how they are told to do so. My issue is with the trend that a few people are trying to start saying it isn't "fair" for prices on the GTN to be as high as they are. Nothing on there is required to play the game. People wanting price fixing, limits, credit caps, or whatever aren't going to get the desired result of items before more attainable. If the profit goes, the source for the items (aka people that buy coins for crates to begin with), people aren't going to be spending their money anymore. Then when the supply dries up, the same or even fewer people will have the nice looking toys than do today.
  8. There isn't a single thing needed to succeed in actually playing the game that is priced out of the reach of any player. Warzones, Operations, and Flashpoints will scale your gear for you enough to be able to play them. In single player content, the majority of it you are downscaled to a point where your stats are still well above what is needed to clear it, or you are given an invincible droid to lead you through the solo flashpoint to experience it. If need be you can just feed gifts from a vendor to get your companion to 20+ and mow through quests even easier. The entire GTN could be emptied with nothing for sale, or have everything priced at a billion credits. It isn't needed to see this game's content. Vanity items you see going for high prices are just that, vanity items. If someone has been playing the game for a long time to earn credits wants to ride around on a rancor, look like Satele Shan, or play space barbie with their Yavin 4 stronghold, they aren't doing any harm to you. If you want to earn credits, you have plenty of ways open to you. You have a partner that plays, so run heroics. You don't even have to group with other people, and will still get more for doing bonus objectives in a group. Raise your crafting and sell items. You don't even have to craft, just level a gathering skill and resell the items or run slicing missions. Play the GTN by flipping or selling items. One way I made credits in game is to simply buy items before I take a break, then when I return to play half a year later I have a nice stash of profit waiting to be resold. Information for all this stuff isn't some deep hidden secrets, spend some time searching for them. Then we have the dirty little word called "money". Yes there will be people that buy coins to buy items to resell to get in game currency. That is a fact of any game out there where it is an option. Thing is though, without that and the f2p model, you wouldn't be here today as the game would have been shut down. So even if you see this as an evil, it is a necessary one for us to have servers to keep logging into. So yes, I admit it can be frustrating to see some nice item come out and think "I'll never afford that!" Fact is though everyone feels that way about something in game at one point or another. The difference is people that wanted those items either spent money on them, or learned how to play the game well enough to afford them. They didn't go begging for someone in power to cap the price it can be sold for. If something like that was implemented, you can say good bye to the vast majority of those items. People won't stick around to buy the packs to begin with, leading to extreme supply shortages. Then we will be back here again with the same complaints, only directed at a different reason.
  9. Look at the bright side. The person who's item you bought probably got auto flagged and banned for taking that much out the mailbox at once.
  10. Yeah, we need to put a cap on these insane credit amounts people have. It doesn't matter if they have been playing the game for years and earned it all through crafting, or playing the GTN. It is causing undo distress on the rest of the player base. Down with capitalism!
  11. I made a clone of my main on the EU side since you can't server transfer across regions.
  12. Not a collections items, so dual wield characters will have to pay twice as much for their weapons. At least make the drop rate plentiful.
  13. On the new server select screen there isn't any indication anymore if a server is listed as an RP/non-RP one. Is this just an oversight or is the designation being done away with?
  14. I understand having one, but 350k is just way too low now a days. It should have been increased with each expansion and be at least 1 million by now.
  15. EA has the license for Star Wars for another 7 years and 2 months. This game will stay open the majority of that time as most of the sunk cost is already put into it. The bigger concern is if it will be consolidated down to just a few "megaservers" (East coast, west coast in the US, English, French, German in the EU.) and put into maintenance mode. All we would see then is maintenance patches to keep the regular events going and maybe a small trickle of new cartel stuff.
