You did purchase the expansion. Tell me where they said they're taking it away. If they took it away you'd get compensation, you bought it a while ago so you don't get your price protection. Go in game and tell me your /played time and tell me if it was worth $10 for you. If not then quit, if however many hours is there was worth more than $10 then why are you complaining? You will not get compensation because you complain. Your compensation is getting to play the game for the last 6 months. THAT IS WHAT YOU PAID FOR. That's it, nothing else. TBH the only people I feel bad for are those that missed the cutoff date for the coins within a week. They must really feel bad, but if they extended it a week the people the week before that would feel bad too. So I suppose it has to be cut off somewhere. Imagine if you purchased it 3:59pm GMT on august 11th, missed out on 1050 coins by 1 minute!

Is it doing more harm? I wasn't aware you were the speaker representative for the whole player base. When was this meeting, I'd have voted for someone else personally. Last I checked I don't have a bad opinion on this, neither do a few other people in the thread(Coincidentally the most logical people I've seen, and least entitled/emotional). Someone disagrees with me! They must be bioware/ea employees or trolls, the whole world is out to get me. That's why I'm being punished and not getting what someone else is getting. That's you. Their loyalty is having their devs make you content, fix bugs, hire customer service reps, keep the servers and forums up(Also remember they don't HAVE to give subscribers CC every month, there's more of a perk to you). The ONLY thing you are entitled to is access to what you paid for. You are owed nothing else.

I already said people will cry about anything. Its a good PR move, the top reasons I can think of them making it free are: 1. New expansion coming soon and they need people to be level 55 so they'll buy that, so this current content will be obsolete and no one will care if thats the case in 4 months or whenever it comes out. 2. They need more subscribers to keep the game profitable(Same reason it went f2p). People that bought it 6 months ago are not being reimbursed because Bioware/EA can get in trouble for charging for a product one day and giving it away for free the next. They're avoiding a class action lawsuit by doing so. People that paid for it 6 months ago still have access to their content.

You got what you paid for, you paid for access to the content and you're not losing that. You aren't being punished. Please, find me 10 people that have been playing for 6 months, didn't buy the expansion, and have paid for a subscription. I'd like proof too. Chances are you're just using conjecture to get what you want, which is free stuff.

You got what you paid for, deal with it. You do think you're entitled whether you're accepting that fact or not. Don't be a child. EA is avoiding a lawsuit by giving recent purchasers the coins. They can't just sell things to people one day and give it out for free the next. You don't apply to this because you've been a happy customer for the past 6 months apparently.

This is because the average MMO player feels they are entitled to everything in the world, they are the same ones that would cry as a child because they saw a kid walking down the street with an ice cream and they didn't have one.

A few questions to people that bought it day that are complaining: Were you okay with your purchase 2 hours ago before knowing this? Were you satisfied with the content for the last 6 months? If you answered no to the above 2: Why are you still playing? Would you have honestly been okay with playing the vanilla version of this game for 6 months? And paying for it? If no, then why are you complaining now?
