  1. For this reason, I always hope there's a chance that Malgus comes back. But seeing as they changed it from pushing him down a vent into just outright killing him - I'm not holding my breath !
  2. I remember when I chose a Chiss Warrior and intimidating an npc for spouting racial hatred - was really funny.
  3. Signed Would love there to be even one new unique class story on either side.
  4. So I've returned to the superior MMO and I've stumbled across this crazyness... Could someone give me a quick tutorial on all things Galactic Strongholds and what I've missed? Thanks!
  5. Did a wee run of Lost Island last night with a random group of fellas. got to Project Sav- Rak and wiped (As you do). Our healer left so we waited around for ages until I decided to mess around and see if I can just jump around the map for a bit. Little did I know that this was soon going to remarkably lead me to jump on top of the rocky cliff face above me and thus being able if I wanted to to skip Sav-Rak himself entirely. I only discovered this last night and forgot to take screenshots (Silly me) but I'm going to solo it with my inquisitor tonight and see if I can discover what more I can do with the out of bounds stuff. I'm sure there has to be more to it than just being able to skip Sav-Rak although that is really cool. I'll post screenshots tonight with my inquisitor. Has anyone ever known about this? Surely I can't be the first person to discover it.
  6. Perfect time to go for a jog and do some push ups I think. Hopefully it gets resolved before I return.
  7. Best advice I was ever given was don't spend credits on things you don't need. Only spend them on these key things whilst leveling. 1) New skills from your trainer (This is obvious, better abilities mean stronger attacks, things die quicker etc) 2) Speeders - makes things that much quicker completing new planets. 3) If you're seriously running low on creds; complete all the missions on each planet + the optional bonus series alongside it (they have a lot of credits attached). Combine that with the odd flashpoint and perhaps daily space missions and you shouldn't be running low with cash at all. 4) Try not to die as often. I know, I know this seems obvious but seriously you will save a heck of a lot of credits when u don't have to keep repairing your gear. Hope that helps!
  8. I actually love the mob density of the planet, means more credits and more massacre! Combined with a well placed strong aoe you just burn through most of them. I also found the makeb storyline to be the toughest storyline of all the storylines but the most rewarding and satisfying. It really does require a lot of skill in my opinion to beat. Remember guys, it's past end-game content.. they had to jack up the difficulty somewhat.
  9. Simple things here that will make sure that you never die. 1) Keep your gear up to date by using custom/adaptive gear in every slot except the implants / relics slots. 2) Since you're dps, use your healer comp (Use healer comp for most classes, it's by far the best and handiest in terms of max survivability) 3) Make sure you're similar level or above when doing quests on a new planet. I'm not saying you can't do planets under leveled (I can myself) but they're just that much harder. 4) Finally be cautious and always on point whenever going into a new fight. Here's a list of priorities that should be done in this order before anything else: - Make sure you have all the relevant buffs on your char before storming into a fight - Make sure you're using the right comp for the right fight - If you have any cc abilities, use them, they help out a lot - Lastly always take out the weaker enemies in a group first as fast as possible. That way you'll take a lot less damage throughout a fight and you'll have time to concentrate your maximum efforts on the strongest of the pack. 5) I don't use this last point very often, if any now at all (I used to whenever I was still relatively new to the game). I would be in a heroic by myself or a hard mission and I'd kill one or two enemies in a group, then I'd run out of the mission with my life and return. All the mobs will have been evaded but you'll still keep the kills you racked and the mission won't have reset itself. It's handy if you're really struggling. Hope this all helps and to anyone else who's experiencing difficulty themselves. Good-luck.
  10. Xalek is the true best companion. Cold, ruthless, charismatic with his snappy one-liners of "Master" and "My Lord". He is everything a companion should be. With a softer side as well which he rarely shows. He would die on the battlefield to protect his master from death, he isn't just an apprentice to the inquisitor, he is also a best friend.
  11. A long time ago we thought the boss fight was bugged (back when I was still realtively new to swtor) and we thought all you had to do was stand behind one of the apprentices whilst Ikoral blasted them with force lightning. Then I only realised shortly after that you also have to manually interupt the casting to progress.
  12. I don't know why but that made me lol so hard.
  13. This is constantly plaguing my mind whether or not to use my high level alt to go back to planets and grind achievments. Is that the quickest and best way of doing so, or is it naturally more viable to gradually build up the achievments from beast kills, lore etc. from the creation of different class characters? Thanks ))
  14. Just realised the abysmal size of the images I linked (apologies in advance, I'm brand new to this forum and never really link or upload images on the other forums I browse)!
  15. I'll upload more in the future when I can be assed. This is my highest and best character. Level 55 lightside sorcerer.. enjoy! :DD http://i.imgur.com/e3tWOcT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/tTdU4q3.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CNohJyG.jpg For the first image, I wanted to leave my nameplate on just to show you the title I use for that specific char.
  16. About 800k. Doing dailies and being smart about what you're selling and also not dieing a lot really racks up the creds.
  17. For some odd reason, the way comp characters look really never bothers me compared to how my own character looks. Unsure why that is but I'm super particular on what my character looks like. I have a lightside inquisitor with some really nice custom white armour (Will post an image once I'm able to login) and a darkside Jedi Knight with a dark evil looking robe.
