  1. Just recently playing MM FP this. I am gonna say some of the weird people got tone down a bit but some small percentage shouldn't playing this mode. I still experience bunch of healer not healing. Some DPS not using their defense utility, not focus on one target and understanding the mechanics of the FP. Tanks not using their defense utility and some taunt abilities. Basically some people who just boasted their toon and not understanding their toon abilities. Played MM Hammer Station easiest MM FP in the game some weird people will make this FP difficult. I played as a tank on this another weird FP I experienced. In this FP a healer charging in with the mobs wasting his heal on himself. Then calling me out not Taunting the adds he currently engage. He forgot his grp still currently engage on some old adds. He just charge in to a new grp of adds without waiting for his grp. Boss battle 1st boss the Tunneler I really don't understand the mindset of this healer. Charge the boss without waiting for the grp again. Luckily he survived. Then I taunt the boss. This healer suddenly realize he is a freakin healer. Seeing my low health but It's already too late I already use my defensive abilities, adrenals and health pots. Luckily this healer uses battle res on me kinda salvage this FP but he forgot to heal the DPS who is currently tanking the boss ended up dying. Then DPS that died got mad at me because I am tank. He told me I should taunt the boss but at that time I am dead and still currently being revived by a healer. What a dead tank gonna do? Even I got res at the time my HP is so low to tank that boss. I am waiting for the healer to heal me due to my low health. That DPS just suddenly rage quit on the grp. When I call him out. 2nd boss Volcano Healer finally healing me but this battle took forever. The DPS is not focusing killing the other 2 adds. Healer set his companion to DPS I believe he and his companion attacking the main boss who is tanky. They could just kill the 2 adds who are quite vulnerable. Then me focusing killing the other adds. Believing this is the one that DPS focusing while tanking the boss and the adds. I just suddenly realize the DPS on this weird grp who remain keep spamming Sweep gunfire. No wonder this boss battle took freakin forever. Final Boss It run smoothly but the healer again charges the boss without waiting for the grp. Causing the boss to do Sweeping Gunfire hitting all the grp. Again this healer barely heals me but the boss mechanic is easy. I just taunt the boss in one direction. When he uses Sweeping attacks I just dodge.
  2. Same thing w/ people posted here I am starting like my Gunnery Commando utilities and skills after I unlocked them all. Gunnery Commando is counterpart of Arsenal Merc but Merc have cooler animation and Commando in my opinion have cool gun. It took me long to master this class like what is my initial skill to use in order to avoid threat in a FP which works for me. I learn to never use my AOE skill in initial engagement to avoid threat compared to Sith Sorcerer that can instantly remove it's threat and Sniper that have shield to mitigate damage. Definitely this class is hybrid between Sorcerer and Sniper but it is focus on debuffing mob armor which is great being group w/ low level toons and new players in the game. I have group up w/ weird PUG like Tank trying to skip most mob area like we are doing some sort a marathon. I have 2 low lvl toons which are could be returning players, sage trying to be a healer even though it spec is DPS. It feels like in that FP I am the one doing the most damage. Yeah sentinel help too but some areas me and the sage that is the one clearing mobs. Being mercenary and commando it's utility as semi healer works great too even able to do a combat revive. Also able to CC or disable a mob during combat is amazing especially w/ competent group not attacking the mob I just disable. I can even heal myself so my healer would just focus on the tank and other DPS which makes healing for the healer a easy job. Also there are bunch of post being posted that merc and commando doesn't do continual damage which is not true for me it totally much depends which rotation you are using.
  3. Thank you for advice. Next time I am doing w/ random uncoordinated PUG in this FP I will try to follow this. I guess I just panic as a healer seeing my grp mate health already melted right the beginning of this FP.
  4. Even w/ those Kolto you will meet some Random PUG not doing Teamplay like not checking the grp health, not using their defense utility, interrupt and not using Kolto. Every time I played a Sith Sorc w/ random PUG I usually the one doing Kolto and reviving people feels like I am a necromancer. I think one of the worst exp as a healer w/ Random PUG. Being group w/ class that are fragile and players not using their defense utility worst a class that have tons of defense utility proceed not using them. In FP called Boarding Party right from the start I got a new player lvl 40 Sith Jugg grp mate having tunnel vision charging w/ other mobs and my other grpmates already engaged w/ other mobs. Maintaining their health as healer is quite frustrating especially they are not using their CC, def utility and interrupt. Worst of them all is the Sith Jugg not using his def utility to survive longer. Proceed to have a squadwipe in that first area. Don't get me wrong Lvl 75 Sith Sorc combat revive me trying to salvage the first area sadly the mob is too much for my grp. The weird encounter on this PUG, in one of the area I planning to skip mob using stealth due I am a healer Operative. Sadly I didn't notice the Sith Jugg is afk and my Stealth field is on CD. Then this Sith Jugg proceed to attack the mobs I am trying to skip which is fine w/ me. Then that mob fight become longest FP mob fight I ever exp w/ random PUG. As usual Sith Jugg dies so quickly then the lvl 70 Merc. I proceed to combat revive this Merc trying to salvage this mob fight. The Sith Sorc also dies due it is not using it's skills at least this toon able to kill 2 weak adds. So here I am as a Op w/ a Merc fighting 4 mobs consist of 2 strong Jedi and 2 weak adds sadly this merc is not using his skill and he is not dealing enough damage to this mobs. Also I am quite focus maintaining our health due both of our health is 30%. After we got 70% health I start helping dealing damage. I am just surprise this merc not able to deal a single damage to this 4 mobs. This merc could have CC the healer type Jedi or interrupt the mob's skills but nope this merc just proceed spamming his skills. The weird part 2 weak adds are not attacking us so basically the Mer that is lvl 70 is fighting onlly 2 Jedi adds and I am healing him. We finally kill the healer type jedi and my combat res can be activate. Then I proceed to combat res the Sith Sorcerer. Thinking this merc will do fine fighting one Jedi mob. Then the Sith Sorcerer I just res and fully heal proceed to hide in a corner and not helping us. The merc also dies fighting one single adds at least this jedi mob only have 50% health. I proceed to kill this add. The only left are two weak adds that are not attacking grp. I proceed calling out the Sith Sorcerer to help me kill 2 weak adds. Then after that, the Sith Sorcerer got but hurt I am calling him out giving lame excuse he is hiding in the corner in order to heal himself even though he already have 100% health due I already heal him before he hides in the corner. Also the merc got but hurt calling me out I should just focus healing him even though he is fighting one single mob.
  5. This is rather true, another weird PUG I met. One boasted he have done this before so I don't need to explain Czerka for 2 new PUG for this FP. Also I am having a bad day when I ran w/ this PUG. They have a very stupid plan in this FP splitting up fighting 2 Czerka boss at once underestimating this FP. Here I am not checking the chat and their conversation. One PUG also didn't get a memo due the conv is just weird because one PUG is a Troll keep filling the Grp chat w/ his GF's story which I don't give Now here's the weirdest part they abandon me against the mobs due they are stealth toon that are lvl 75 w/ gear 306. The other 2 PUG go straight to the boss then die instantly against the Desert storm boss. The other stealth PUG who didn't get the memo also go straight to the boss and temporary survive due the boss area is lockout but this PUG is just dumb as a brick:rak_01: getting damage on the Boss Desert attack eventually dies when I reach the Boss area. I need to clear all the mobs by myself to reach this boss area. I am also lvl 75 gear 306 Sith Sorc so this issue is not problem w/ me but when I reach the boss area it ended up a squadwipe luckily I am not inside the boss area and near the door of the boss area dying like that random PUG. I will be honest looking at this situation I should have rage quit early. The one who so called I Solo this FP is quite surprise on his dumb plan didn't work. Then we do this as a grp ended up a squad swipe due how they are uncoordinated because one reason I ended up dying first and they also don't know the mechanic of this FP. Luckily one PUG decided to google this boss mechanic did they even listen to his advice nope. One Sith Assassin volunteer to be a tank but imagine this he is not using his taunt skills and this dude should lead the boss on that cannister to stop the boss AOE. Luckily I survive the 2nd round ended up playing as a tank as Sith Sorcerer running around playing as necromancer reviving all the PUG 6 x giving me a threat leading the boss to a canister and even use Kolto for this PUG. Luckily this PUG beat the boss but me ended up dying. W/ other boss same scenario. my Sith Sorc tanking and reviving this PUG also dying on this 2nd boss then this PUG finally beat the boss. Final Boss, I just ignore the final boss and let this PUG deal w/ it. In this area I am focus on dealing w/ obj. Also when the boss tried to attack me I use my weakest attack giving me lesser threat. Luckily it work. W/ this Weird Random PUG only died 3x for them it will be worst for their repair fee especially they are gear 306.
  6. This kinda happens to me doing Foundry doing the 1st boss, this random PUG dies quickly on the 1st boss AOE. As a Sith Sorcerer I got combat revive then started to revive this PUG then suddenly rage quits. It snowball resulted to squad swipe. Another Sith Assassin new player lvl 75 the same PUG that doesn't use out of combat CC also rage quits. Some people just doesn't wanted to learn the mechanics of FP. I am fine dying 2-4 times if we are new to this FP like Maelstorm Prison and Crisis on Umbara. The best exp so far w/ Random PUG in a FP will be Maelstorm Prison, playing as GS. 1st match against Colonel Daksh we ended dying due we got new players. 2nd match getting better w/ the same PUG and I almost solo that FP boss but loses focus and become impatient. The boss almost had 30k HP. 3rd we won and we become coordinated. After that FP run smoother. I just love playing w/ random people just wanted to play the game and learn the mechanics of the game instead of rushing the FP content.
  7. I do agreed sadly w/ my luck of my random pug and not paying attention to preset of grp. I have been party w/ 3 new players that doesn't know how to use their class skills even though they are lvl 40. A random pug healer struggling to heal the grp or just not basically healing. 2 DD not using their defense utility and me who is lvl 75 w/ set that is a Jedi sentinel that is quite fragile. I have been the one tanking the turrets. When I reach the 2 turrets, one DD suddenly ragequits so basically 2 random pug and me taking turns against those turrets. I have no time to re-summon my comp or reque. This is also happen to my Sith Sorcerer in this FP and the Foundry. I basically played a role of necromancer keeping my meatshield or groupmates alive even though my role is a DD. Definitely I could CC a turret in HS sadly a random pug will keep breaking my CC even though I told them not to attack my CC and that CC target even have some label on it.
  8. Like others have pointed out do some flashpoint you will gain some random gear. I suggest only take armor pieces w/ high armor rating don't bother w/ armor stats until you reach 306 armor rating and have sets. To speed this process up you unlock some legacy renown boaster perk which I believe in total cost 3M credits this will speed up your renown lvl rate (every time you lvl up your renown lvl you gain crates), your guild have renown boasters and your guild is quite active trying compete w/ conquest earning you more gear boxes that have a chance of an armor sets and tech fragments. I suggest don't bother saving up those tech fragment until you reach an armor rating of 306 use them. Buy some unidentified armor piece to the vendor found in Supplies section in your Fleet. The vendor is called Spoil of War. From what I remember those unidentified armor could have 3 lvls above your armor rating. If you planning to create another alt I suggest save some armor that have armor rating of 306 so that you will not do this grinding again to your new alt.
  9. Taking turns against turrets is quite possible especially w/ lower lvl random pug. What if your random pug doesn't have a CC? You cannot always have an optimize group especially on a Random que and I have done this w/ lower lvl PUG. It always works for me. It also help lower lvl new healer to heal their groupmate especially they have limited access to their skills. Honestly FP itself needed a revamped why some lower lvl are taking veteran mode? Why story mode is lock on lvl 70 is just weird? Is FP lvl 10 necessary, no one has been queing on that FP? What is wrong pointing out that Interrupt skill are rarely use in the game, some new players not reading their and asking for Combat revamped in the game? There are bunch of FP boss skills that can be interrupt like Revan, Darth Serevin and Lord Kherus. It is just weird all FP boss their skills cannot be interrupted, this kind FP boss mechanic feels lazy.
  10. People slamming this FP even though 90% random PUG I met performed horrible. Bunch of new players not reading their skills like lvl 40 not using their out of combat self heals, high lvl stealth toons not using out of combat CC and worst old players not using interrupt really?? In all spammable FP I play this FP is quite fun it teach me as a returning player how to use LOS and cover against Turrets in the bridge. This small things in FP makes SWTOR combat more fun especially I am playing w/ low lvl PUG. I could see some Random PUG listening to my advice and doing teamwork taking cover and healing themselves then take turns against those turret then see some tunnel vision random shmuck not having situation awareness he is the only one dealing those turret ended being gun down. Totally wish Bioware revamped the combat in the game so that people will use their skills correctly. I really don't understand why most FP bosses all their skills are uninterruptable seriously they got some few bosses that can be interrupt.
  11. For me having conversation with Skadge. Yes i hate him but having conversation seems ok due you can somehow insult him and gets good affection
  12. Yes! They could wreck havoc but you need to babysit it and never go to solo. Just don't forgot you are a range dps and your best defense is the range and never chase your target. Also you can heal yourself. If you are taking damage run away and heal yourself then wreck some havoc again. Seriously Pyrotech Merc has high survivability and damage ratio than Arsenal Merc. You got some instant ability that could do alot of damage but it takes time.
  13. Why not lower all the cooldown of all def buffs except saber ward. I don't care about damage. Your job is to take all damage and survive so your grp would kill it for you. Seriously i just hate the feeling i am to dependent w/ my healer especially in lower lvl and dependent on timing my skill and i rarely watch the screen and dependent w/ my gear. 3 mins cooldown for def buff is too much especially in lower lvl and have crappy healer and some healer who is actually a damage class. I know if you got immortal you will have 2 min and 30 sec cooldown for def buff. Seriously only 30 secs reduction and your damage in bare minimal and smash armor reduction doesn't stack. Make all def buffs 2 mins or 2min and 30 for balance or def buffs use to much of rage. If you spec w/ immortal make it 1 min or 1min and 30 sec. The new def skill is useful due it has 1min cooldown and you don't need it time it. For balance issue for lower cooldown why not increase the rage cost for using the def buffs. Also makes smash and sundering assault armor reduction stack. Also remove stun immunity of some boss. Seriously why not give some boss some ability to removed there stun instead of giving them an immunity. Seriously a freaking flashpoint boss padawan is immune with stun and force choke or a fatass mandalorian.

  15. Agreed the Expansion felt really lazy! I know it adds more story line but seriously adds some requirement like you can only unlock this one after you are given a title like Emperor Wrath.
