My Chiss operative just hit 50, and I really do love Chiss as a race. I got the unlock when it was on sale, and currently have Chiss: inquisitor, smuggler, agent, and consular. I wanted to learn healing and have leveled exclusively as a healing operative. I used Kaliyo at first and switched to SCORPIO once I got her, loads of fun. The operative healer is versatile enough that it's not much work to keep the companion up while doing some DPS, or... Just stealthing around to objectives can be fun too. Seemed smoother than the same thing with a consular (which I ditched for DPS and was much happier). K

Hey all, I'm working on leveling my operative, and I've been having a lot of fun using SCORPIO as a tank. I love her comments, and I think she does a great job at tanking. I have yet to see any customizations for her, which is fine, but are there any techblades which actually show the installed crystal's color? I've looked at several in the Dressing Room (to borrow a WoW term) which usually have the default orange installed, but I've only seen little blue electricity animations. Not much of the power crystal. I know they're not light sabers or saber staves, but I think it'd be great to see the crystal color. Ideas? Thanks, K

Hey all, Noob question here, I've searched but I'm not sure I understand what's happening. Is there any way to tell if mounts are intended to be in the collection, or not, or may just not appear yet? Sometimes it makes sense. For example, I can't find the Praxon Aero in the collection. That kind of makes sense to me, it being an alignment-based mount. Sure thing. It falls apart slightly with the Special Ops tauntaun. That mount appears in the collection, but it says that "additional" mounts are available at the rep vendor. Fine, it's rep-based (with a Cartel faction if I recall correctly). Cool, but if that's the case, why doesn't the Aero show up with the same message . . . hmm. Take the new mounts added with the last couple of Starfighter packs. I may just be blind, but I don't see the Cartel version of the Korrealis Duke in the collection at all. The Korrealis Duke SE is there. The Droid Sidecar is also there. By "appear in the collection," I mean whether or not there's a panel in the collections window which even shows the mount. I understand that once SOMETHING is added to the collection, there is sometimes some apparent lag (like when you're on some kind of return timer, it waits until the item is bound). And I also get that for armor sets, you have to have an entire set bound before the pieces could be shared across a legacy. Perhaps this question would belong in another section of the community pages; if I am in error I apologize. I await your guidance, community! K

Seeing as my talents were refunded with the latest patch, I find this question important again! I think I'll be trying shield spec, but I have an equipment question for you all. I leveled my Jedi Guardian as a deeps spec, using deeps armor and a healer, it worked wonderfully. I'm wondering, though what people think about how best to equip my vanguard: shield with shieldy mods, or shield with deeps mods? I don't know that I'm ready to queue as a tank, since I don't know the FPs well enough to lead a group. I also don't have enough lowbie guildies to make a guild group so I use the group finder. I want it all! I guess I'm just wondering, does using DPS armor offset the (decreased) DPS of not being in a deeps spec, or should I max out the shieldiness of my armor, and use whatever companion seems appropriate? I know it's a noob question, I can always try both. I think it'll be fun to give the shield spec a try. Go easy on me! Koko
