  1. Toller Thread, trifft genau ins schwarze. Leider sind die Lowskill-Millienials von heute mit sowas überfordert. Die wollen instant gratification, LoL, Overwatch, Valorant machens möglich. Die haben nie in Force Unleashed den Sternenzerstörer mit der Maus vom Himmel geroppt oder den 150. Stern bei Super Mario 64 gefunden. Fazit: unter den "gamern" von heute befinden sich wesentlich mehr lowskiller, als es noch zu unserer Zeit der Fall war.
  2. Es listet sich auf dem Tulak Hord Server niemand mehr für Raumkampf. Dabei ist die Weekly extrem gut, um Tech-Kompos zu farmen. Warum? Ist euch das Spiel zu schwer oder was?

  4. It creates the following graphic bug: My graphic card is Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti. The crystal should color the saber black at the start and white at the end. The problem is the extrudig white fragment in the black part, making this look horribly.
  5. Gives you 10 seconds of dmg reduction per target you hit with crushing blow, stacks 8 times. This skill will at most hit 2 targets in pvp. Could be buffed a bit. Or increase the AoE range of crushing blow.
  6. Man, those Tactical Items and Set Bonuses are weak. If you add something new, please make it have an impact on the playstyle. Maybe if you fuse all those bonuses into 1 item it would be able to make a difference. This way, 1 bonus changes 1 little thing about 1 skill. I am not impressed.

  9. Die dümmste Aktion, die ich in all meinen Jahren gesehen habe: Voidstar, Team will von Schmuggler mit Schmuggeln getarnt über die Brücke schleichen. (eigentlich mal eine gute koordinierte Aktion) Wir sind halb über die Brücke, da pullt der Schatten (tank) den einzigen auftauchenden Gegner (Söldner) mit seinem Ranziehskill. Der Söldner haut scheinbar aus Reflex erstmal seinen wegpush-Skill rein und fegt damit 6 Leute von der Brücke. our face when
  10. Actually, why (instead of making 1 new slot for new gear) don't you just expand armor slots, so people can fit 1 Tactical Item into each gear piece. For boots, there could be an upgrade to boost movement speed, or another upgrade, that resists slows. For armor, there could be different modules designed to resist a certain type of damage. For Blasters, there could be scope or magazine modifications that increase range or reduce energy/ammunition consumption. I'd really hope to see more KOTOR in SWTOR.

  12. Idea 1: Vampirism Each Weapon-attack heals you for 1% of the damage dealt. Idea 2: Force Slow -> Movespeed Leech For the duration, Force Slow now leeches the targets movespeed and maybe some HP aswell. Idea 3: DoTs tick without disturbing Mind Trap or Whirlwind. Idea 4: Force Slow also reduces the targets Alacracy, so they cast slower. Idea 5: Every target you hit with Death Field / Force Balance will increase your next Weapon-attack by +10% damage.
  13. For Madness/Balance, I'd really like to see a buff to "parasite"-effects leeching HP from opponents over a long duration. Idea 1: Force Vampirism Increases all Life Leech by 50% (the healing effect) Idea 2: Stolen Life When you would leech HP from enemys, but are already on full health, your maximum HP total increases for the amount of leeched HP for 30 seconds. This effect does not stack and only counts the highest amount, so if you first leech 500 and then 6000 HP, you will only get +6000 temporary HP. Idea 3: Death Field/ Force in Balace now also spread the effects of Force Slow and Demolish/Vanquish Idea 4: Mind control Supression turns into a channeled Mind-Control stun, during which the user can't move or attack and which stuns the target for the amount of the duration, kinda like a mix of the Assasins Mind Trap and Force Lightning. How the animation should look? Go to the temple of the dark side on Dromund Kaas, there are enough examples. Would be cool to have this as a player skill.
  14. Idea 1: Healing Ticks tick faster, but in smaller amounts, and over a longer duration overall. (needs buff) Idea 2: Out-of-bubble-effect: Blast away inceases the AoE-Radius and the Push effect of the next Overload / Force wave by 100% when Force Bubble ends. Idea 3: Burning Heals Revivification / Salvation deal damage to all enemys inside the AoE. Idea 4: Force Connection passive - heals you for 1% of the heal you give to an ally. Idea 5: AoE Cleanse that also heals a bit (upgraded Cleanse) Idea 6: A Disspell effect that removes positive buffs from enemys Cause I feel this game kinda lacks Disspells/Countermagic.

  16. Idea 1: Give them Arcann's shield-breaker skill. Replaces Force Jump. Class fixed. Basically, you select an small to medium area where you want to jump, then you jump there and knock away any opponent in the AoE circle, breaking Sniper / Slinger entrench and breaking Sorc / Sage bubble. Minimum Range of 15 and generates rage/focus like Force Jump.
  17. I agree that Shii-Cho should be a balanced from between damage and defense. Thing is: dont make them too tanky. That's what tanks are for. It's got enough burst imho, maybe even the best burst sequence in the (pvp) game. (sages be droppin') Idea 1: 99% Damage Reduction while in Flight (Force Jump, Obliterate aswell as Intercede) So while in-air, attacks do almost no damage. Just like Darth Malgus in the SWTOR-Trailer. Idea 2: X% Damage Reduction against DoTs varyiing with how much Rage you have. Like, in full rage, you don't feel the pain of Poisons, Drones or Curses or Fire. Same idea with full focus. Idea 3: (just for the discipline-name s' sake Bloodrage/ Battle Focus a CD you can only use when having a full rage/focus bar, which it does not consume, but always replenish to full rage/focus after using a skill that consumes those. Maybe also include a damage reduction against Kinetic Damage, increase the alacricy and attack stats by 15%, but therefore reducing all incoming healing by 30%. The Bloodrage/Battle Focus lasts on unti you disable it or die and it can not be cleansed by friend or foe.
  18. Idea 1: MASS FORCE CHOKE / MASS STASIS HOLD (should be exclusive to Tanks) modification for Juggers / Guardians, basically turning Force Choke / Stasis Hold into an AoE. (like Darth Malgus in that one flashpoint where he proclaims himself the new emperor and then in the bossfight Force Chokes the entire party) Idea 2: PULLING FORCE CHOKE / PULLING STASIS HOLD that pull the targets to your location, but not as fast, more like in a medium speed. Idea 3: MASS FORCE SCREAM / MASS other stuff (sry, I'm not english) Basically turning the skill into an AoE that deals a lot of damage. Idea 4: BLASTER REFLECTION WHEN EVADING (defense stat), passive X% chance to reflect a ranged weapon/tech attack back at attackers (dealing X% or full damage) INSTEAD of the normal evading animation you get on a sucessfull defense. I mean, cmon, Soresu-Form. Obi-Wan does it all the times. It would also increase the overall damage output somewhat and be true to KOTOR.

Hello, I hereby request a Cartel Market sale of the new item "Executioner's Maw" (1 handed lightsaber) Because, do you really expect people to pay 300 Million credits to buy it off the goldseller-pricepushers? I'd rather prefer to buy this item from bioware/EA rather than from those people that intentionally push prices, hold back stocks of rare items and raise the Inflation extremely.

  21. Just let me destroy your arguments in under 1 minute here: One of my Charackters was supposed to be a simple doorman. Bioware made him Commander of the Eternal Alliance. Guess what, he's still a simple doorman in my RP and kicks people in the groin from time to time. Real RP means you don't give a single flop what the story tells you your Charackter would be. Past storyline would be mainly for entertainment, what you believe your Charackters to be has nothing to do with that. It's a great idea and just because you claim it would destroy your imagination, that's not an argument to turn this idea down. Real RPers are not bothered by this, and it would be interesting to have for 90% of all players.

Playing LS Sith Warrior, supporting republic side on Iokath, I get Quinn back who said he'll leave the empire after the Iokath story because when Acina took the superweapon I convinced him that she is bad (and killed her myself). Then I clicked on the Ship Terminal to start the 5.10 Ossus stuff, skipping the traitor-storyline = automatic decisions based un faction (really bad, you should consider our Charackers previous decicions or DS/LS points instead), and instead of Quinn I now have Dorne. Which is ok, because I sided with the republic on Iokath, but I expected to have both, because Quinn told me he'll join the Alliance. :rak_02:

Afaik, the only thing we ever get to know about the past live of our chars before hitting that sweet level 1 is from the imperial agent story in the voss temple of healing, where you got 2 options of memories to restore. The rest is beeing left in the dark. Was my inquisitor born into slavery or did he do something else before that? How did house Kallig fall? Instead of always saving the galaxy and diving into the future, why not make a class-specific story arc that takes us back to the past lives of our charackters? I mean, we already got hinted that the alliance will fall and the commander will go insane, and then the Heirs of Zakuul (idk their english name) will assist the commander. Maybe, during that insanity, we can get a past-live story arc to restore our charackters mind and then get a choice of how to continue. Just a suggestion, hope it get's read by the right people.
  24. My fav. is Orbital Station, 2 floor map that gives you choices wheter to fight top or ground and whether to go left or right side (for the openings to kick people down the platform). Choices and options are always good, because it's a team decicion and if it fails you can try the other way next round. Go top = don't get your healer or tank kicked down, strategical plays Go bottom = zerging What I like about Orbital Station is that there are not much things in the way that block your path. One thing I'd like to see changed tho is the big pilar in the middle. That needs to be made into a round 360° circle pilar please. From time to time people get stuck and glitched in there, even sorcs can't pull them out if they are glitched. Self-kill with /stuck is ineviabletetel. (pls don't mind the Rakghoul slang here) In comparison, Makeb Mesa is horrible for that reason imho, which is especially annoying for force speed and group speed buffs if you want to rush, and then get stuck in some stuff in the ground, costs you secons, costs you ground, costs you the game maybe. Correlia Square is okay, hiding behind the box, going sideways or zerging in the middle is mostly zerging, nothing too special. Good straightforward arena. Nothing to change here. Rishi cove has kinda bad map design, the platform top is very unreliable and not really a big choice, most fights are on the ground there in the end. If the circle was smaller in diameter and broader or with a fence and have more options to get to top again it would be better. Also, the rest of the map is way to large. Mando ring - again, kinda unreliable because people can easily hide behind pilars to get the vision obstructed, which means constant relocation, especially when your healer tries to relocate for vision and then gets kicked down, very annoying. Tatooine canyon, kinda straightforward map, I really like it, but one thing that annoys me are the pilars in the middle. The middle should be kept free. Or you could remove the 2 houses on the side and build 1 big house in the middle instead. TL;DR: maps that I like are straightforward, but with options which way to go. Map size should not be to large. It's a 4vs4, not 8vs8, people need to be able to hit eachother. Also, no annoying stuff in the ground and no annoying pilars or statues that obstruct vision. I'm an oldschool pvper that values team coordination and personal skill over dirty little tricks like pilar hopping or pulling enemies into gaps in the map where they glitch and can't move. For new maps, I'd like to see an Umbara Train arena. Straight line map with top of train = you can get kicked off the train and die, and inside the train = closed waggon for inside zerging and a ramp on both sides to get up or down.
