  1. I would personally rather companions play a bigger role in the game than they do. Someone mentioned respeccing would make other companions obsolete. As Sith Warrior all but 1 are obsolete anyway. Aside from minor roles in story arcs and their own "stories" (which are a joke - terribly uninteresting), they have little effect on the over all story. *MASS EFFECT 2 & SITH WARRIOR SPOILER* I love Bioware because they create some awesome character development. At the end of ME2 I was incredibly meticulous about choosing the right people for the right job because I loved my crew. All of them. By the end of my main quest as SW the only person I cared about was my character. I never had any motivation to increase companion affection. My companions rarely spoke out about any of my decisions, and the last 2 were thrown in as mere after though. I don't even REALLY know who they are, but I have intrusted my life to them, I guess. Sorry to get so side tracked, but companions are a touchy subject for me.
  2. I disagree. The quote is implying that IA was inspired by the Druid class, which it wasn't. To me it seems that the Operative was meant to heal and be a stealth DPS class. If the player wants to be a ranged DPS he needs to roll one! As a Sith Warrior I can't suddenly say I want to be ranged DPS and expect a fix for my own fallacy. There are different classes for a reason. Unique playing experiences. To expect AC RE-CLASSING is pooing all over this. It's also directly against Bioware's "tons of alt" game design. If you have a stealth operative and want to be ranged DPS then roll a Sorc or BH.
  3. If Bioware EVER implemented AC rerolls it would have to be a 1 time thing in which you got, say a week, to try it out. After that you had to choose between the 2 and it would be PERMANENT. Just like they told you a thousand times when you first had to choose. For most players, being able to have dps, heals, and a tank tree would make rolling another character pointless. Then the classes without a tank spec (or dps/heals) would qq. By the end of it we would all be playing one class that could do anything. Yeah, sounds like fun.

    Sorcerer Nerf....

Yeah, he was probably just out of combat while doing 500k+ dmg, too.
  5. Which is why all PvE gear as been randomly looted from bosses for years? And why Diablo 2, one of the best games ever created (and all of its predecessors) flourished? Hmm... I see your point. While it may piss off PvP'ers, random loot it exactly how the other portion of the game plays out. At least in PvP we have the option to play as much as we want to potentially unlock a piece of gear. If you go in an OP and the piece of gear you need doesn't drop, you have to wait until next week to go back and try your luck. That being said, refer to 1.1 patch notes.
  6. Don't bother replying. Lord Sparky has spoken. Everyone cancel their subs and move on.
  7. Seems pretty obvious that you are either not tank spec'd or not a very high level. Juggernauts have a range and aoe taunt. We have several types of stuns and interrupts, including an aoe stun. We also have several abilities that cause high amounts of threats, including 2 aoe attacks. If you're having a problem with threat then you need to look at your rotation because you're doing something wrong. I do think immortal spec might be lacking in the pvp department, but we're far from useless. We offer amazing protection through guard, taunts, and intercept. We should either be running the ball, defending points, or defending our healers. Immortal spec isn't meant for huge numbers damage wise, but we're tough to take down with our defensive cool downs. I can't speak for the other specs, but I haven't seen any *competent* players complaining.
  8. I've been immortal spec since the beginning. I don't do terrible in WZs, but I feel like I'm working a lot harder to be in the top than other classes. How do you guys think a Juggernaut would perform spec'd as rage or vengeance while using tank gear?
  9. Why do you need to save them? Keep buying and opening champion bags until you have a full set of gear to look forward to when you hit 50.

    We Love Huttball!

I think everyone's main concern about Huttball is the fact that we have to play it entirely too much.
  11. Not agreeing with you is not comprehension failure. xD It shouldn't be percent based. That's like saying the amount of xp required to get from level 1 to level 2 should be the same as it is between level 49 to 50. Just because you don't want to take the time to grind it out. You talk about skill, but natural skill only takes you so far in anything. Unless you're some type of prodigy (and trust me, you're not), you have to sink some major time into whatever you're doing to become good at something. Therefore, rushing to valor level 60 is meaningless. You just want to get better gear faster than everyone else so you have a crutch to lean on until other people catch up. The problem with that is that everyone and their mom is going to have the same gear meaning you're still going to have to put in major time to be better than them. In the end, it's better to be constantly working towards something than to have it instantly. Although it doesn't matter in your case because if you weren't crying about this you'd be crying about already being valor rank 60 and the game not having enough content.
  12. People like the OP can't comprehend ideas like this. They don't understand the time to create something is always a significantly longer process than going through and experiencing the end product. Whether it be a book, movie, song, game, etc...
  13. I'm sorry you don't understand game development. Beta exists for several reasons. One reason it doesn't exist is to cater to your specific wants and demands. Could you give me a list of all the things they had time to fix in beta, and the issues they planned on releasing with hoping to iron out afterward? Okay then.
  14. The thing is... what you're describing is a 50's pvp bracket. It's rather pointless. Why spend all the time buffing bolster when you can just put in the hard mode (50's bracket)? Save the time and effort and just do it. The real reason Bioware didn't put in brackets from the start is because they didn't think so many people would rush through leveling. They've only done it to reduce queue times. Imagine having to wait 10+ mins to get into Huttball rather than 2-3. Anyone who doesn't think Bioware isn't going to incorporate brackets is ridiculous. So, stop making the same thread as everyone else and just chill.
  15. He made the comment because of your premature sub cancellation. Everyone wants ALL of the problems they've attributed to the game fixed tomorrow. In reality it's going to take MONTHS! I completely understand being concerned for the game, and wanting them to make it as best as they can. I think that's what everyone wants. But people are being so unrealistic in the timeline they want Bioware to respond in. The game has been out 2 weeks, and I've seen so many people claim to have cancelled their subs over the dumbest things. I don't understand how anyone could be so shallow. If you want to help the game, stay for a few months, voice your opinions in a coherent manner, and have some freaking patience. No one knows what Bioware has in store, and anyone who knows Bioware knows they keep things to themselves for the most part. As far as anyone knows, they could have a miracle patch waiting in 2 weeks that puts lvl brackets in pvp, solves server stability issues, etc. A lot of the issues I see people complaining about were things Bioware did out of experimentation. Such as not being able to select WZs, pvp lvl brackets, ranked pvp. Things Bioware could easily change if people would just give them some time to do so.
