Adding a new start point is all well and good, however I wish you stop removing past start points like you have with level 60 KotFE start point. I still may want to start at KotFE or at Ossus. I mean really is it that hard for players to not understand a story starting point. Give us a little be more credit than that please. Putting a new one the mix in is ok. You can come here as much as you like with statements like "we don't want to have to many start points" Sorry but why do you care? If I am buying one of these tokens, then I want the choice not have you decide for me. A long as the topic starter understand that a new one will be along the lines of how it is now. You get to pick your character class/faction/gender and that it. everything else would be you get all light or dark choices dependant on the faction, and you remain a loyalist to it. yes it is short sited by BW to do that, but that's is how it is now. If you start from Ossus you don't get a choice in well....anything. Which bring me back to my point about starting story points. It should be our choice not yours's BW. We as in your customers are paying for these tokens.

Headline says it all. I got some blue 320 gear as loot for my level 80 character. This gear cannot be upgraded as you must have a perfick name item to trade for the upgrade. So must go back to my green gear 320 to trade for an upgraded green gear. So, what is the point in getting any gear blue, or purple loot at all in story questing. You know what BW, just not going to bother. When you start bringing out story that requires upgraded gear. Guess just won't be able to do it. So, if your plan is to continue to do story players cannot do. Go for it. Getting gear the way you have it now is just tedious, pointless and just not worth it.

I recon a lot of us have done similar silly things like this I deleted a level one character as it was cheaper to make a new toon than use the character changer. I just forgot that I moved that server's cartel stuff into that characters cargo hold. This was a long time ago long before we had SH's. Did not even think about until I wanted an armour set I had.

I still play almost every day. Having said that, I am not enjoying it nearly as much now as I once did. This is due to the crap gear upgrading method introduced in 7.0, lack of care for things like crafting, the constant nurths being introduced to just about every part of the game. Not sure how long I have been playing this game but yes, I think it is coming to an end for me.. Glad you still love the game, despite what I have said, these are my issues with the game, so don't let anyone else grind your enthusiasm for the game down.

It is doable as many do, Vet mode and even master mode. However, I recon far more won't be able to than can. Not even bothered to try myself. Have zero intention of doing so. I certainly hope no BW staff ever use the term "play your way" ever again on these forums.

Yep, disappointing. BW cannot really justify this at all. It's a way of trying to make subs spend the free coins on the items given in GS3. Ok not all will but the point is valid. none-subs to buy coins to get them on their other characters. New F2P players should be able to earn enough CC in-game to unlock the odd item, but older members probably won't be able to if already used in-game CC. Getting a few CC may still be possible getting 150 or above, not so much. Sure, it's free stuff, but also comes across as very calculated on BW behalf. As said just disappointing all round.

Well said everything I wanted to say on one of the other threads. Yes, this was started first, but it was also further down on the forums. I really with that players would not start multiple threads on what is the same subject. However, this comment not directed at OP as he was first, or at least before the other one I posted in.

As I have a very similar Armor set, I would not buy this one. Also did not BW say that bronze Armor sets were being removed in favor of more detail sets? A re-skin is hardly that. On the plus side, if you don't have the other, it's a nice set.

The problem with this kind of quest is not just the number you need. No real information to begin with (yes, a post very late in the day about it but not at the start) but there are just too many players there. After one hour I just gave up. I not going to waste my gaming time on a mind-numbing quest like this, no matter how many points you get. I just hope that this particular type of quest id removed for up-coming weeks.

I am playing it, however given the amount of group play, or things like SF as examples. The G.A.M.E event after spending an hour on it, I just gave up. Overall, if subsequent weeks are like this one, I'm not even going to reach level 50 by the end on my main account. Not even that far on my other account I subbed on for this event. It's one of my newer accounts so just don't have the number of characters to do the crafting or the higher end FP's. I subbed on the second account to get two of the companions I don't have. I also think this is the real reason BW put most of the CC at the high end of GS levels, simply they know most won't get there, certainly not solo players or new players to the game. The reduced amount of CC is disappointing but the fact they put most of them towards the end is beyond disappointing. I will continue to sub on this account but won't sub on a second again at the same time for any reason going forward. At one time I had 5 subs going. The cartel packs? sorry but I don't believe that these are anything but limited to what you can get in them. So far as with season 1 & 2, I am getting the same weapons as I did then. One of the antique ones, I wonder how many of you also got one of the 4 of this weapon? one for each weapon type. Bronze items had a very large selection yet still getting the same items. Will see if this continues with the other packs if I get that far. On the few servers I got a different weapon, yes you guess it Starforged weapon with was the other one I got last 2 time. If I manage to get as far as the classic Armor set, what are the odds it will be yet another home or away huttball one? So far got to levels 4- 6 on various servers. Yes, am playing across the servers but as I am a solo player once I have done what I am willing to do, see no reason not to jump to a different server/account. BW also knew this is what players would do from the onset, in-fact did they not even mention this themselves on the first season? I do like the companions you get, but from a story point of view, for those after KotET story arc, it makes no sense that any character would give this droid the time of day, let alone go out and help. To much like Scorpio for any character to trust it. On that note, yes do like new companions, this particular one, not so much. I agree with a lot of the negativity that has been put down for the same reasons. Overall, this compared to the last two seasons is a bit of a killjoy.

No, BW are under no such morality at all to answer. No company is or would under the same topic. It is not a positive change as you claim, no company in their right mind would ever give out such information to their competition or customers. If you have a problem with BW and how they conduct their business in the language you are using, then you do not come here to voice them, certainly not in the regards to this topic when you are claiming such bad business practice. You either do it with private messages to the individual or you go straight to Watchdog or the equivalent Independant oversite company to where BW is based that's what it's for. You won't do that though as you know full well you don't have a case to begin with, other than you don't like it.

Despite being selected to have the test version of the launcher, which worked fine except one time but closing it down and re-starting the launcher fixed., Today after patch 18/10/22 up-date it no longer works. It loads but all servers are greyed out and none can be selected. Tried closing down and re-starting so far 5-6 times, same. No longer working for me at all.

I've had this happen just once so far. I enter details press play and seems to endlessly try to load. However just closing it down and try again fixed it. Overall, it did not seem much of an issue, at least, so far...

Agreed. Flattax you need to grow up. No one from BW will ever discuss such things with you or any player. That is the same for every online game out there. It does not make you look big or superior in keep asking Jackie to comment, even more so when everyone knows full well you would not except any answer, she gave you.

Yes, it can be very difficult if you make a certain choice in a previous chapter. OK you are clearly past that chapter, but other players may not be, so won't give away story spoilers.. I think my first run though I made the choice (wrong one if you want the easier battle) but at the time it was before endless so-called class balance, which is OK for the most part but in some story areas such as this fight, one of the boss battles in Traitor amongst the Chiss as just two examples it just did not work. Pointless doing class balance and companion Neffs if it prevents players going forward. Expect the same after this round. As others have already put down the best way, no need to say it again. LOL, Not about guilty as charged so to speck, It was more to say that yes I often do see founders say that they are founders so know that there are some still around The VIP area was not just for founders, I been here now since this game became F2P, though started subbing off and on since then. I have always had access to the VIP area as you could buy it at least back then a little add on pack from store. The VIP area was my very first disappointment to with the game. To me the VIP area offered nothing of value in any way. Other than less players around. Which unfortunately did not reduce the lag at all, or gen chat. Which I now have switch off all the time.

Ok, Yet again I will try to explain. On SF I have 87 characters out 102 slots. If I ended my sub I drop to 90. I have 58 characters on SS out of 102 slots but again I drop to 90 if I end my sub, which BTW I often do as I don't sub all year round. So if these two were merged I'd have 145 characters, my new total is then 145 characters slots as long as I remain subbed. If I end my sub I drop back to 90 characters. So loose 55 characters. Not only that but if not subbing I can only re-buy 10 more slots so would perinatally loose access to 45-characters until I resub. It's really really not that hard and you really really need to do far more research long before you start asking for a merge on how such a merge affects other players. Not only that, I would also loose characters on all my other 9 accounts, none of which are subbed. I have already brought extra slots for all these accounts that I lost after the last merge. Across my accounts I would after re-buy over 100-character slots at 600cc each just to play characters I have already brought and paid for. That is not even counting the empty slots I have now and would lose.

You can do both. You can make character on all server up till your max available slots. Remember that you get 12 extra if subbing, this is important as if you end your sub, you lose access to 12 characters slots unless you buy extra. You can loose even more than this as many found out after last server merge, I lost 45 on what is now DM You can pay to transfer characters to other servers as well, there can be advantages in this as it also transfers any unlocks you may have. It's not free or cheap. You can only transfer to a server you have available free character slots on. At present time I have 102 characters slots on DM. but only 90 unlocked. So if i ended my sub I still have access to all 90. If I transferred a character from SF to DM, I'd have 91 out of 102. (Remember 12 slots are due to subbing) So now have 91 characters, If I ended my sub I have access to 90, so one character while still there cannot be activated unless I buy another character slot, or re-sub. If you play on just one server, you can make characters on the other 4 or transfer characters to any of the other 4. Remember transferring is not free or cheap. In the contents of this thread, the difference is, if you transfer your character(s), it's your own decision and cost. What the OP is asking for is forcing that decision on everyone else regardless of their wishes and putting any cost of that merge on the other player(s) so they don't have a monetary cost themselves.

As a well let's say older player who is a techno phoebe, I just never know how to find symbols, I can just about do it in WORD doc's but if I needed it in-game. OK I am just old, lol

I tend to agree, BW really has a bad rep anyway for it's long term customers in so many ways I'd be here all day and night to list them. I have no idea how many founder players are still around, but clearly a few that often mention they are in posts. For me I don't really see the point of a founder area, A guild, SH serve this if needed. But really most of the founder you just don't know. so why would it make a difference it they are founders or not? I guess I am just not seeing the OP's reaoning on this.

A date would be nice; however, I understand why BW won't give one. Far too many times in the past a date given has been missed. It is a judgement call, as to give a date that might be missed or not give a date at all just a vague timeframe such as the fall this year. Both ways will annoy players. Is one better than the other, again it will be for some but not for others. I mean how many times so far have we had a thread saying I subbed as xpac is out on (insert date) it's been delayed so I have now lost a week's sub on the new xpac. On the other hand, we get a thread like this one, I sub for story when is next one due out. Yes it would be nice to have more story more often, On the other hand it has been like this now for several years. Given that anyone who has been here for more than 2 years should really already know what to expect. Thats not making an excuse for BW, it's just a reality check on the current situation of the game.

First off, no not every sub has over 1B credits as you claim, but if they did then GTN costs would be irrelevant as according to you they have the credits to buy anything anyway. Secondly, yet again we have a player who thinks it's ok to dictate what happens to other players brought items from CM. What they have paid for NOT YOU. Thirdly, none of your so-called fixed economy solutions, would fix anything. all it would do is and there is no polite way of say it so I will be blunt, it will just piss people off. Other players have already said why without saying it again.

Why don't they just pay to transfer their own character(s). OH, as already mentioned they don't want to pay, but very happy to make everyone else pay real life money. I am F-sick to death of these players who don't want to pay out real money but more than happy for others to have to pay out real money to re-buy' character slots, or to endlessly have to sub to retain the character(s) they have already brought and paid for. As far as I am con-concerned its players like you who are self-centred. I have already paid out again 45-character slots at 600cc each. That was just 1 account, out of the ones I have. Always expecting everyone else to compromise, to pay money out, yet do nothing themselves, absolutely nothing.
