  1. Agreed and I'll leave you with a little ditty.
  2. Yeah I'm with you on this too man. I was so disappointed to find out that my companions were generic to others. Vette looks like she's in her underwear even. haha I mean..what's the point? C'mon devs, get it together.
  3. That's true. I'd personally be willing to let detection go to have stealth and cloaking screen. I can always use suppressive fire in certain situations. Anyway, just an idea.
  4. Would allowing snipers stealth and cloaking screen be out of the question as for helping with pvp survivability or would this be out of the question? I mean by definition a sniper should be steathy anyway. Don't beat me up ok. lol Just tossing in a suggestion.
  5. At 55 I basically retire a toon. I grind dailies with my first 55 for credits so I can have nice things for my lowbies that primarily PvP and do the class quest just to follow the story line. I'm a casual player and I don't have time nor do I care to grind like crazy for lvl 55 PvP gear all the while getting my face blasted. As for OPs/flashpoints I work nights so I can't really do that with the guild I'm in until the weekends. But I find that if you don't know the Op/flashpoint already and you're stumbling around in there and/or want to see the cut scenes your first time in you're not that popular whether you're in a guild Op/flashpoint or pug. lol I did one Op with my guild since I joined like 8 months ago. On a weekend. I had a great time and although I got everything right eventually I wasn't invited back. lol So anyway, now I"m pretty much solo all the time and I still manage to enjoy myself. For me guilds in SWTOR are pretty much useless except for the 10'% XP bonus. As I want my characters to have a long life for lowbie PVP I'll join a guild till about lvl15 then get out so I don't get that bonus anymore. So in short, occasionally I'll see a player asking for help in local chat and I'll pull out a 55 to go help. A bounty quest for instance. But that's about all I use a lvl55 for now other than dailies.
  6. My sniper is lvl32 MM and I'm doing well in pvp but I'm at a stage where I'm not sure what route to take to upgrade my armor. I'd like to increase my dps of course so I'm confused on whether I should go for power over crit. For instance, although I'm at a point I can get the (discipline enhancement 14) at lvl33 it actually would take some power from the current enhancements I have but give me a boost in surge. Obviously that must be the right thing to go for correct? I'm trying not to waste comms so when I get to lvl40 I can buy enough ranked wz comms to max them out before lvl55. I hope this makes sense. Thanks guys.
  7. I've read most of the post in this thread. I'll admit I haven't read all of them. From what I have read in this post and from discussions I've had with other people in game that actively pvp is that we never wanted arenas. Most of the people that pvp in SWTOR aren't new kids on the block when it comes to mmo's and pvp. We've been there, we've done that. And most pvpr's know that arenas, especially 4 man arenas are going to get boring fast. What I feel most people wanted is more warzone's that were of the same 'type of warzone'. We wanted to keep 8 man ranked warzones. There was a petition against taking it from us. But you,Bioware, as far as I can tell and I think most would agree, chose to ignore that petition. More ranked 8 man warzone's was your answer all along, not 4 man arenas. World vs World would have been awesome although I understand the game engine might not hold up to that. Another idea might have been to introduce software that would allow SWTOR players to design warzones and then conducted a bi-monthly or even a yearly contest where other players would vote for the best warzone. The winner or winners would receive some cartel coins or maybe a month free sub etc. and have his/her winning warzone implemented into the game permanently. Anyway, 8 man ranked you should have kept and introduced more maps for. 4 man ranked arena, which is not another warzone type by the way, you should have canned.
  8. Well played. Useless title. I bought RotHC about two weeks too early to receive the cartel coins. I would have complained in these forums for those that didn't if I had though. Bioware has no honor.
  9. Well said. I started playing this game about two months ago and bought this expansion about a month ago. Now it's free? *sigh* I guess when the next expansion is released, if ever, we should all just wait until it's free.
  10. Yeah today was my first time at this event. I was trying to level a character to 55 last month and didn't do any of it. It's sorta boring as dailies go for me too. I'm in it for the hat on my gunslinger. After that I'm pretty much done. lol
  11. No but I keep lagging and then loose connection.
