Everything after Shadow of Revan should also be playable with a friend/friends. Of course, the person who launches the story content has full control and the person joining them is just along for the ride. This is an MMORPG, not a singleplayer-RPG so I don't see a reason as to why someone can't roll with you in Fallen Empire for instance.
