Recently returned to the game after a two year hiatus, have cleared all content in NiM including timed runs, and HMs, except for the new operation. I main a sniper/slinger, but can also dps with mercenary or powertech. I have cleared numerous nightmare ops with these three classes and have tons of experience. Am looking to join a NiM group to clear content. Pubside or impside doesn't matter, however I would prefer impside. My availability to raid is any day besides Mon/Fri. I fairly disagree with this. Marksmanship is an extremely important spec for more than 2 fights because burst is necessary. and if played extremely well and if the player is skilled enough, can more than out-dps disciplines like Virulence or Engineering on fights like Brontes or Styrak. In the end it all depends on how your tanks actually tank the boss. Some groups are allowed to do extra damage from dot spread or AoE's for higher dps numbers. For example, fights like Revanite Commanders or The Underlurker and Torque are fights where dps can vary just because of the tanks. Some may argue that it's entirely dependent on whether or not you choose to fluff. After all, Suppressive FIre is amazing in Marksman. Other cases are the raid group's composition and varying roles in a fight. It's all entirely dependent on things like this. Does Marksman need a buff? Sure, it could use a buff on followthrough or PB but nothing too huge.

While this is all true, it does not call for ridiculing someone simply because they've only killed five bosses in scum and villainy. The thread is simply about who is active and doing nightmare content. Yes, they didn't respond to the OP's original demands, but in no way shape or form should you be ridiculing players just because they "killed easier bosses"
