  1. I don't usually complain about bugs in the game. This one is a complete fail. Needs to be fixed. I won't do the fp again until it's fixed. It's not worth the aggrevation or wasted time.
  2. @Keith and @NeoBlakkrstal It might not be such a bad thing for SWTOR to sell in game creds (or creds for cartel coins) OR have authorized dealers and SWTOR get a cut of their earnings. To Keith's message about be vigilante in reporting credit spammers, I used to when I first started the game but stopped when I actually needed support and I'd used up my allotment of support tickets reporting spammers. That was 5 or 6 years ago. Hopefully that's been changed or it will create problems for conscientiousness SWTOR players that heed your advice.
  3. It's great to hear that you're looking into the root cause. I hope you find it and are able to set up automated testing/regression testing to prevent it in the future. In the meantime can the support team work with players that have this problem to get them back in the game? Can they at least respond to the submitted tickets so that players know that they haven't fallen into a black hole? I'm concerned about several of our guildies who are talking about leaving the game because it's been 6 days since they've been able to play and they've gotten no info on how/when they'll be able to play again.
  4. Thanks to everyone who's trying to be helpful. Our guildies who are having this issue have rebooted their computers, removed bitraider folder, uninstalled and reinstalled SWTOR a couple times. 1. One guildie gets it to work after removing bitraider but then the next time he tries to login, the problem is back and removing bitraider may fix it or not. 2. Other guildies have done all of those things and still have not been able to log in for 6 days and counting (and no response to their submitted ticket). They're telling us that they're going to leave the game as soon as their subscription expires -- why pay for something that they can't use and Bioware doesn't seem to care about their problem. BTW, they were able to login/play without issue until the 6.1.2 update.
  5. It's been 5 days since the 6.1.2 patch and there are still player who CANNOT access their toons to play the game because of this issue (Quick Play Mode and incomplete download/installation). There are now multiple forum threads about it, but this is the original one that should be tracked. There appears to be no response from Bioware since they said that they're aware of the issue. As paying players expected this bug to be prioritized as Critical and that we'd see a patch to resolve in within 24 hours of the 6.1.2 release. In our guild on the Star Forge server about 10-20% of our active members that I know about, are experiencing this issue -- they can't play the game as of today because of this issue. I'm assuming we're not an unusual guild, so I'm assuming that a large number of players are in the same situation, if they're like our guildies, they're getting angry and frustrated. The software tells them that they can play toons on starter planets. That might have been an acceptable for a day, not nearly a week. That's not really being able to play the game -- it's not even a poorly applied band aide. They've submitted support tickets which have not been responded to. You might think that only 10-20% of the player base being affected isn't so bad, BUT you'd be wrong, because it's not just the players experiencing the bug that are affected. Since they can't play, their friends and guild mates, their raid teams, and their pvp teams are ALL AFFECTED by this bug. And we're all getting frustrated and angry at the lack of response to this issue. 5 days of paying for subscription without being able to use it and with no communication as to when it will be resolved or how they will be compensated is not an acceptable way to treat customers. When will the fix be available? Please tell us that you're not going to turn on the new Swoop content before you resolve this issue for players! Bioware should be thinking about how it's going to make it up to the affected players. They should also look into how they're going to prevent this issue from recurring again, as this seems to happen every few patches. Automated testing and regression testing should catch this before it ever makes it into production. If you can't reproduce the issue in your dev/test environments and you need more detailed info, then screen share with some of the players experiencing the issue. I'm sure you'd get volunteers if they thought it would help them get back into game sooner.
  6. This achievement is seriously broken. A guildie and I made the rounds to kill the droids becuase we had previously done the fps and ops for the achievement. I got the achievement when we finished the droid on Tat. He still has 4 droids to kill. He's now killed them on 2 different toons and the Corellia and Tat ones still haven't been counted.
  7. I still can't log into game. It says the login service is unavailable, but my guildie was just able to log in. What's going on??
  8. Hitting the same bug on my Sorc. I've cleared out everything, including the "dogs" and still only have 3/4 commanders.I would luv to be able to advance my sorc thru the Revan storyline.
  9. I think the trophy art is great. But how do I share it with the guild ship or guild stronghold. There isn't a purchase button like the trophies and speeders.
