C'mon pvp players.. This isn't anything to you. But it means more for those of us who aren't here to make your epeen bigger. I don't play this game to make sure you have the best pvp gear. I play because I grew up with this story and galaxy. No pvp player deserves a say. You joined this game knowing that you had to do story. I joined for the enjoyment of star wars. You aren't real pvpers anyway. You're "kill, die, repeat" players. Play a game where there are hardcore rules. You die, your toon is DEAD.. Gone.. Forever.. You won't.. Because you are, at heart, pve players. Players who grind for their own wants.. And your wants don't earn the right to force me into your enjoyment. I've played those games. Hardcore rules. I've pvp'd with players where my toons "honor" was at stake.. I've played when I knew my toons permanent death was waiting around every corner. Go play with your kill, die, repeat.. But don't brag..

This game, is the only place.. They are part of the -family- of actors who made the movies that draw the majority of the player base.. There is no Alec Guinness' "Great expectations" game.. No Christopher Lee's "Dracula" game.. Nor a Peter Cushing, well.. I'd choose "Shock Waves", but that came after star wars.. Lol The point is.. The actors in this series of movies are part of the love most of us have for the game. The game would not exist without the books then movies, which carved in stone, the epic story of Star Wars..

I've always said I would be sad when we lost Clint Eastwood or Robin Williams.. Yes, SADLY, we lost one.. But as a movie enjoyer.. Both Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee were gods of B movies.. And Alec Guinness was an actor of great talent. So yes.. Lore be f***ed.. A small plaque is worthy for all three in a game based on a player base of those who love this galaxy of imagination.. All three deserve a tip of the hat..

I guess for me, I am exempt.. The jet pack was.. I prefer small mounts.. But.. It would be kinda cool to see a Luke ep IV speeder.. Or a mechanized creature mount..

It would be nice just to click any mount to dismount you..

Part of this game is using a comp.. If you want no 12x exp, then go solo 100% of the time.. No team mates, no crew, nothing! Fill your boots Treek lovers..

I was a neverwinter nights player from the release, and then directly onto to self made servers.. Then, with the hardcore rules, you'd be lucky if you made 2-5 exp per kill.. Let alone major boosts for completing any quest.. Here?? Lol.. Yeah.. It doesn't matter at all whether there's 12x exp.. Even playing without, the game play always has me a few levels ahead of anything I do.. Plus after 4-5 chars played through, I can enjoy seeing the other stories without the repetitive planetary missions. If this game followed the former method of the most minute exp rewards, these forums would be washed away from the flood of tears of the spoiled..

As far as games go, I find this game pretty tame in this way.. Seeing anyone dressed overtly sexual is rare.. Even the "naked troll" is rare..

Why are "loyal subscribers" the stupidest people? Think about it.. This may get crazy in thought, cause I use LOGIC.. So stay with me on this.. I have a drivers liscence.. Does that mean I can drive an F1 car? No!! But!! Someone who can, can also jump in their crappy family minivan.. Same as armor.. So you have light armor.. Wow! My hero!! You'd be dead like anyone in the F1 armor..

As a former nwn player, I don't miss the screen clutter of multiple players speaking at once. Although, I would like to see something changed with the chat as it exists now.. For example, an actual whisper mode.. Sitting in a cantina and three or so players at a table using whisper so that only they hear their conversation.. Or reducing the "sound travel" of normal talk mode.. Being on the fleet and reading the emote rp of a player I can't see anywhere near me is annoying.. It should have a much shorter cut off distance..

I suppose I could throw some more mods over for my alts companions.. But my main two chars comps all have the Yavin gear..

I have a couple chars at 60, I've been doing rep dailies with.. Aside from helping my Alts with mods, or trying to sell lower level gear from comm vendors on the GTN, is there any good use for them? It seems I'm always hovering near the max limit even after fully gearing up an alt..

I'm sorry for necroing an old thread.. But of all I've read here, the only point worth recognition is the "ignore button".. When I first recieved my NS SH, all it had was my utility room.. Mailbox, storage, vendor etc.. But now.. I have the freedom to decorate. But, I am limited as I only play at work. That means I cannot do anything group related. So my decoration unlocks are limited to what I can buy off the GTN. In saying that, I've noticed two themes being stated here.. A) People make crap SH's to get 100% for conquests.. B) I unlock good decorations through conquests, therefore I should be better than others!! Uh.. Wrong.. At the moment, I have 17k prestige, and 62% completion.. At no point have I ever needed to fill my SH with random crap for any reward.. But what most people miss the point of, is that, even though I buy most of my decorations from the GTN, a SH, is only meant to be a personal retreat.. Your own space.. Sure players get some rewards from 100%, but I would put my limited HOME up against theirs easily.. Even my basic benches in a pattern on the large NS balcony have an aesthetic value that I wouldn't upgrade to something "nicer"! I've spent, after room unlocks, close to 15M credits on decorations.. And again.. It's only 62% complete. Basic decorations have a use if they suit the need.. And just because you bought/unlocked a nicer piece, is meaningless.. And again.. It all boils down to "ignore".. I like to post my SH on the public listings.. A few times people have come in and told me of a certain decoration that may look good "here".. I check and cool, they were right.. So I bought it.. Prestige is a number.. And even those who think they are making a great home, can still end up with crap in the eyes of someone else..
