  1. According to the notes you can .... or should be able to drag your character up and down when using the preview window. However you cannot. If you are not going to fix a bug, don't say that you have.
  2. So with the way gear drops is supposed to work .... versus how it works in practice, More often than not you do inevitably wind up getting the same piece of gear dropping. Now to expand on this. Lets say that you are running an operation. On nightmare mode. What should happen is that the gear dropped is going to replace something, anything that is a lower tier. Not in level but in colour code. However you often get lets say an earpiece, or a relic or the chest piece .. and what you have on already is also Rakata. For the love of god guys have it set so it will replace something that is not Rakata. And the principle applies to each mode of play. Have it replace based upon colour code. Not number. This way you are always getting something a step up, given you are playing something where this would be appropriate. Instead of "Hey guess what, you know how the last part you needed was a wrist or a focus, or an offhand? HERE'S ANOTHER HEADPEICE FOR THE SEVENTH TIME IN A ROW." It's not amateur hour guys, get your **** in order. Christ sake.
  3. Lower personal conquest back down to 50k. The way it is now just screws over PvE players. this is just insulting! Instead of lowering the reward and increasing the requirement lower it back to 50k and put back the original system!!!
  4. Really need to lower the personal conquest back to 50k. It is virtually impossible to get done if you have more than six characters. Not to mention it is a hamper on smaller guilds and seems to only favor the large conquest guilds. So fixing this would be very simple. Set it back to 50k. Or you could increase the amount of conquest gained from all the things you can do, in order to make up the difference. Either way this needs to change. Having multiple Large, Medium and small invasions would help quite a lot. Perhaps having three or five of each. This will help prevent gigantic conquest guilds from going into even the small yields and winding up with 100 million or more in something that requires 500k. Having more to choose from will help this. Giving the small guilds that focus more on Role play (Think 60/40 split between RP and Conquest) a chance to even get onto the leader board. Not to mention the amount of the isotope stabilizers (gearing currency for Veteran flashpoints) needs to increase. Back in 6.0 the grind was there, sure. It was an enjoyable and manageable grind. That is objectively not the case in 7.0. Another thing to do in tandem would be to slightly lower the cost required to upgrade gear. Having a decent grind is healthy. and helps keep players happy. But the way it is now is a slog with no reason. Do better. Having the group finder have all the flashpoints is going to be great so it's good to see that a step in the right direction is being made. The glitch that seems to have came up in 7.0 in regards to the previewer is still present. Not allowing you to move the view of the camera up and down. Please fix this. And the outfitter colour dye clicker does not work at all. It was working just well in 6.0 but has been broken in 7.0
  5. Agreed. I would gladly take a roll back to the 6.0 system, as would a great amount of long time players of the old republic. The gearing system is absolutely pathetic, what they have done to conquest is just plain abysmal, not to mention all the new currencies for gearing is enough to make you throw up with disgust. This new update is an objective downgrade from what had prior, in every conceivable way.
  6. Gearing is something that everybody that plays this game will have to do, that is something that goes without saying. The best way to have a gearing system is something that is easy to understand, and does not feel like you need to carry a block of dry ice from the desert to the north pole. Sadly this is the system that has been implemented in 7.0 A simple fix for it would be to combine the operations, conquest and the flashpoint vendors into one person. And adjust how the currency is obtained. Have it relatively easy to gain, and simple to do so. If you simply how it works, it would make the game far more enjoyable. Also, why is it that my old 306 gear is objectively better than what I have now at 322? Would it not make sense that with the 322 gear that my stats would be higher than what they were and not lower? Seriously guys, get your show together. This is just sad.
  7. So the Valkorian Royal armour set shows up in collections, but it does not show in the cartel market. That and when you go into collections, there is not button to purchase it. I know that some items it seems are only going to be able to get via getting the collector pack. The Valkorian royal armour set is not said to be one of those. So when / is it coming to the cartel market? PS: The glitch that had appeared on the PTS has somehow managed to be in the live game now. When you preview something, be it an armour piece or a weapon, you are unable to move the camera up or down. Only able to zoom in and out. This bug really needs to be looked at and fixed. I don't understand how a bug that was not a part of the live game prior to the pts, has somehow managed to be a part of the live game, and existed inside of a vacuum in the pts.
  8. What you should do is simplify the gearing. Just have it be PvE and PvP. No breaking it down by what you are doing. Like this is just needlessly annoying. Lower the conquest rating to 50k and have it be more or less how it was prior to the launch of 7.0
  9. The way that 7.0 has conquest is abhorrent. This has got to change. 100k just for personal conquest? That number is way to high on it's own. Not to mention that it becomes a far more glaring problem when you factor in that the amount of conquest points that you get from doing things is quite small, and they have nerfed the things that you would normally run to complete it. Seriously Biowere, lower the amount back down to 50k and undo the complete death nail that you have done to conquest! Not to mention, let's talk about flashpoints. Not having all of the flashpoints on the group finder filter is beyond the point of frustrating. It is putting yourself into a bad position just because you can. The sooner you lower the amount back down and let the players decide for themselves how they wish to go about conquest (IE: HOW IT WAS PRE 7.0) The sooner this thorn can be removed from our collective backsides!
  10. (Don't know if there is a dedicated forum for conquest but it will be posted here for now.) The way that 7.0 has conquest is abhorrent. This has got to change. 100k just for personal conquest? 11. Agreed. not to mention just having it as an option would be nice. scale the companions to match the droid you would get. and if you are under a certain level, you can just go combat droid if need be. select the "Crew loadout" as an option. or go default. that way everyone wins.
  12. Completely agree. if they can do so with KoTE they can do so with the prologue, chapers 1-3, the other expansions etc. It would help breed new life and give players a lot more re-playability. They would just need to add it to the same bar that they have for the knights of the eternal dlc's
  13. Here are just some ideas that I feel would make the game a bit more enjoyable. Love the game to bits, and I've been playing for years, these are just some thought I've been kicking around for a while now. Not the most tech savvy person this side of Dromund Kaas, and its the first time I've posted to Forum. But with out further a-do, here we go, in no particular order. 1. Allowing guilds to own multiple properties. Be it flagships or strongholds. Maybe a max of three each? But only having one of each is sort of limiting. 2. (More so a mild nitpick if anything) When you remove a hilt, barrel, mod, etc, from a weapon or armour piece, it should not cost you anything. However I think it may be good to have it so when you do so it does... However when you are doing so with a workbench, it does not cost you anything. 3. Voice modulation with helmets and having a toggle. Sort of like how you can turn dark side degradation on and off, it would be nice to see the same with helmets. That being said some of the helmets that do not have it by default could just have the generic voice modulation added via the toggle. 4. More weapon variety. Now what i mean by this is not exactly adding more weapon types, but granting access to toons, so they can use differing types. Allow bounty hunters to use blaster rifles, and auto cannons. Grant the warrior access to the double bladers, etc, etc. And as a bonus I would say that just like how you can hide your helmet, allow classes to do the same. Now this one is a bit more specified. Allow for example (Again this is just an example, and could be expanded upon.) With the lightning spec sorcerer hiding your lightsaber while you are using your force abilities would be very cool. 5. New mirror classes. If you were to say that the trooper class storyline is the "Boots on the ground", and that the agent would be the intelligence branch / james bond spy master style, it would be nice to have the respective mirrors. Having the imperial boots on the ground and a republic intelligence officer styled class storyline. 6. Adding an option for vanilla / early game life user interface. When you go into interface editor, the addition of a vanilla preset. Not just with locations of things, but the style as well. for the cartel market, the chats, equipment stats. Now this could be either vanilla or early release. Think in the time span of roughly from launch to 2014. 7. For new stronghold locations i would suggest: Korriban, Tython, Ossus, Hoth, Illum. 8. Adding new curved lightsaber designs. The twisted fang is a saber i wanted to like, given I am a Makashi mark. that being said the segmented design, i am not a fan of. Think something more akin to count dooku. Not to mention having your toon hold them correctly would be big. 9. Lockable chat bars. Self explanatory 10. New operation modes. Adding Solo mode. Queuing for an operation can take upwards of thirty minutes, and finding a group via chat is just a joke. Allowing players to go in like a solo mode, will give players the option to go ahead and play them for the story if nothing else. After all they did this with flashpoints, so it is something that is possible. 11. Full planets. and adding strongholds to them. Nathema is a great example. You cannot visit it. but you can if you are running the nathema conspiracy mission. Having it as a flushed out planet, would be great. Not to mention a stronghold for it would be great.
