  1. Lol ever heard of group ranked? thats WAYYY more toxic. Ive been apart of many raids where people are fighting amongst eachother and still achieve their goals. Competition doesnt care about your feelings. You dont have to play pvp if you dont like the people. You cant force others to change.

  3. this could be a cool idea. Its worth atleast a pts run! I would suggest the weapons still stay within reasonable class limits. I.E. Snipers with lightsabers and what not. It'd be sick to dual wield double blades, or have a jugg with a double blade

  6. Yes! *claps* Very good break down. The spec is far to vulnerable to CC and is easily shut down. Its damage with fanged god in pvp is alright, but in order to output decent numbers you are railroaded into using this. Much of the marauder sets, and tacticals for ALL specs need to be re done. Carnage specifically has to see either a damage or utility gain somewhere somehow. Its an all dps class for crying out loud and (carnage) is doing sub-par damage in pvp and pve.
  7. Exactly. its an oxymoron. If you are going to rob it of damage, you better be giving it some utility or a bigger toolbox. I prefer firepower though.
  8. Lightning sorcs are already going WAYYY too much damage in both pve and pvp. Why are you giving them additional critical damage. Justify! I'm looking at this and thinking, "The devs are maining lightning i guess." Please dont do this. If anything, lightning sorcs need their damage (splash damage mostly ) reduced. Storm watch specifically will not only proc on its target, but if that target is guarded.. the tactical will ALSO proc on the damage being absorbed by the tank (in other words, the tank and guarded target both receive stormwatch proc). Why, why, why does this spec need MORE damage? Don't do this.
  9. Thank you for breaking this down. The spec has alot to be desired, falls short of dps, and doesnt have many options in how to play it. In terms of performance, you have to use fanged god. The other tacs are a waste. Agreed the spec has lost its burst. Idea i was kicking around is even giving ataru as small DOT to help with aoe and single target dps. Sortof like bloody slashes. Sever should be restored to its previous bonus too. Would love to see the Prosecution make blast splash. Would like to see Malevolence buffed to atleast 75% armor pen. Tome of Unyielding blades needs to be rebuilt entirely.. Maybe make it so during berzerk, your sweeping slashes hit the targets twice. Not saying these are golden ideas, but maybe something can become of at least one of them! Hope something changes for Carnage, because the spec is very fun to play and had a high skill cap before.
  10. PLEASE BUFF CARNAGE!!!! Aweful utility, easily countered, has lost its burst, poor tacticals (exception being fanged god), AWEFUL aoe capability (tome of unyielding blades is a JOKE), and overall underperforming damage in pve and pvp. FIX THIS!
  11. Yep most of the tacs are impractical. They had a good idea with fanged god, but they missed their mark with how easy its falls off. The set bonuses for mara as well are just plain trash with the exception of DoTF. Who designs a set that requires us to use force camo, and then mad dash to get a slow and a crit. Thats just an example, but it makes me wonder how well this was thought through and tested
  12. I totally agree it needs a little tweaking. I feel a good start would be to include sweeping slash in the hyper stacks. It's kindof the only useful carnage/combat tactical out right now.
  13. Exactly. 3% heal when we use a 3min DCD legendary uitility, but other than that no self heals. We have not taunt, easily controlled, and our burst/overall damage is rivaled if not topped by classes with far more utility. Carnage specifically needs some love.
  14. This game has alot of unique swords and lightsabers. My primary example here is the eliminator's vibrosword. Big, cool looking, great sounding, but you put it vertically on your back. Imagine kicking your heels up against that, you'd never walk again. It would look soo much better if they were crossed. I feel the same for the Vigilant swords. They are so big that you practically drag them on the ground. Try and place them crossed on the user's back. :wea_03:
  15. I'd love to see tunings on swords of all kinds, but ultimately I would be more motivated to put one on a weapon if the effect traveled throughout the entirety of the blade, not just the base.
  16. Agreed. Ranged cooldowns are far too strong. As a carnage marauder I need to stack 3 rootbreaks just to get close to a sniper or merc. On the small chance we get close, their defensives, shields, and heals still topple us. I like to think if myself as a pretty capable player who has played both sides to this conflict. Ranged is far superior right now
  17. Agreed. This is a nerf in disguise. If anything ferocity needs to last for more seconds, and not 2 charges to be used exclusively with certain abilities.

  20. I couldn't agree more. I too feel that the developers rely too much on leaderboards in the like. I am aware that this thread is discussing PVE status of the lightning spec, but from a PVP perspective, lightning is outright victimized by its single-target damage output. For a BURST spec, it is not up to par.
  21. Hi everyone! I've been a lightning spec'd sorcerer for about 3 years now! It's my favorite spec by far. I enjoy the concept of blasting and casting lightning - like abilities from your hands However, I feel like its preformance has decreased. Many would look at the numbers in warzone leaderboards and disagree. I understand that these numbers balance out, but I feel that those numbers are reached by use of lightning storm spam and chain lightning spread. Another problem I have with the discipline is the feeling of it being far more predictable than other "burst" specs. By this you can tell I consider Lightning to intentionally be the burst spec of the sith sorcerer. It may have decent AREA burst, but it's single target burst is just not up to par I would just like to suggest a few changes/additions to the LIGHTNING discipline. - Perhaps make static barrier act in a similar way to "Cloak of Pain" which is used by sith marauders. The damage delt by it does not have to be equal to their ability, but it would discourage others from attempting to break the shield hopefully. - Reduce the CD on force speed. I understand that the ability USE to have a shorter CD and was met by a nerf. I think by reducing the CD time once again would increase the lightning sorcerer's dps. - Make Enduring Bastion increase movement speed and grant immunity to movement impairing effects. This could help the sorc be more slippery when put in a tight situation. - Make Chain Lighting a PASSIVE ability. A lightning sorcerer's burst attack is uniquely and inconveniently TWO different attacks. If it was made a passive, It could have different chances for trigger such as.. Thundering blast has a 100% chance to trigger CL Lighting Bolt has a 75% chance to trigger CL Lightning Storm has a 25% chance to trigger CL I get that this won't exactly fix the problem, so I feel that it should work similar the the warrior's Smash ability use to function. Make it so that it's damage is increased on its primary target and lessen the damage it does to surrounding targets. This will help the problem with single target damage, but perhaps not fully solve it. -Increase the damage delt by Thundering Blast once again. I dont expect this idea to get very far, but I thought I would suggest it anyway. Dont get me wrong, I greatly appreciate the auto - crit relationship is has with Affliction, however being the lightning sorcerer's main attack, it doesn't feel very rewarding for being the center of a rotation. - Lightning Flash makes next Crushing Darkness instant. I can't express how annoying and unsettling it is to have to stop moving around to cast Crushing Darkness even if it is for a short time. I don't think this is too unreasonable to have it cast instantly. Since it would revolve around the CD of Lighting Flash, It would only occur every 15 seconds (give or take). - Allow the Suppression utility to last a longer amount of time or increase damage reduction by a greater amount. I was happy to see that they were giving sorcerers a defensive CD when they first discussed it. Further along, after getting experience using it, I do not see it acting effectively. Maybe make it last 10 seconds, or increase damage reduction by 50% - Make Electric Bindings a SKILLFUL utility for sorcerers in general. I'm sure this will be argued against by assassin players that this is an advantage they need, but atm E.B. is under MASTERFUL for a sith sorcerer and under SKILLFUL for a sith assassin. What's going on there O_o - Make Convection (Lightning spec passive) have 3 stacks granted by Force Speed. The lightning sorc was given two passives (Fulgurous Fortification, Charged Reaction) that have the potential to stack 3 times. It is difficult to achieve this when Force Speed only grants 2 charges of Convection. I understand that the sorc is given Subversion as a way to get another instant cast of Lightning Bolt, but in order to gain this buff, it needs to be attacked. Even while the sorc is being attacked, it only has a 25% chance to trigger. NOT a very impressive counter - attack. -While in Lightning Discipline, Force Speed grants 75% defense chance. I think this isn't too unreasonable when thinking of Mad Dash and Exfiltrate granting high defense chance. It would take a load of the sorcerer's mind forsure. -For all sorcerer disciplines, heavily modify Sith Defiance. This is the most pethetic utility I've ever seen. A whole utility to grant ONLY a 3% damage reduction. I ask that this either be replaced, or grant a greater amount of damage reduction. -Make Recklessness affect Thundering Blast. I am not sure if this is just a rumor, but while using TB with recklessness, I find it believable. I have heard that Recklessness does not grant an extra crit damage boost when use with the affliction auto crit. If it does, I'm not seeing it. -Rebuff Forked Darkness to allow Crushing Darkness a 50% chance to tick twice. This would help with the increase of single target damage. These are the ideas I can think of off the top of my head! I appreciate you guys reading them!

  23. I beg to differ. I find that madness can EASILY best lightning.
