  1. and it is even less fun when you can't kill anyone because the healer is too strong and geared even if you time ccs, etc. and often you have to rely on team mates that won't sync ccs and stuff. healer in this game is BROKEN and overepower as they outscale dps and heal for multiple dps players. Now, what the problem is that the it will get boring since everyone will die (this is how it should be, the best team should win by playing better, not being hard carried by heals). The reason why it is boring it is because death m atch is a very sh 1 tty way to measure skills. Ranked pvp should follow the form of 5x5 and conquest. When you add rotations you add outplays, smart games, and more skill is in game, making not the team be able to stay at one single point the entire fight etc. it is more fun and measures greater skill than "force through" a broken death matchsystem. this game failed in many ways because it COPY and Paste WoW with star wars skin. pvp in wow is another anomaly in MMOs, and sadly, we copied and paste that anomaly.
  2. Are you really defending a healing in this game? LOL... ok answering your first question. Not everyone plays healers for the same reason that not everyone play mercenaries even though they are the FOTM. There are many different classes and specs, and some people (most have more fun) playing something that does damage than heals. Furthermore, some people have self respect and doesn't like to play broken things in PvP. I personally would not feel I am any good if I was geared and was surviving versus 2, 3 people trying to kill me forever. Same way I would not feel good playing a mercenary that is being carried by strong self heals and bubbles while having high dmg output that is ranged. Now answering your other question. yes healing 1: 1 ratio IS a solution. A healer SHOULD NOT out Heal in numbers of several DPS players. THIS IS ABSURD. I don't know what history of MMO you play, but the balance of this game is terrible and that is why the pvp servers died, not because we don't like pvp, but because the balance with healing and other classes are broken. Check Guild Wars 2 for example, the "healers/support" classes there does very minimum healing, and still, the team with a support versus a team without support still has a huge advantage. So yeah, reduce the healing and increasing some dmg from healers won't kill the game. yeah maybe the healers will finally realize they suck at the game that all they cando is play close to immortal class that takes little skill, and then they will die and die, not because healing is weak, but because they suck at the game. period.
  3. I will tell my experience with all the 3 specs: Many people say Fury is great for surviving, but I disagree. it is for some reason the spec where I feel the squishiest. It has a great burst damage, and for regular warzone it feels very strong (as people don't focus you so well and you are mostly free casting). In ranked though, feels like the squishiest of the three because I think it has the least "sustain". Yeah it has the "cc immunity" of force crush, and the defense rate increase from fury strike, but that is it. I feel like carnage is not as bursty, but it has a good sustain damage from massacre when t he burst is on CD (different from fury that you don't have sustain damage once you used all your burst cds). so even if defensive cds eat your burst on carnage, you still have some sustain from massacre, and the buff that increases DR and Defense rate works great. It is my 2nd favorite spec. if you have a good team healing or peeling for you, you are a true killer. My main spec however is Annihilation. It has a great sustain damage potential (bleeds+vicious strike spammable). Bleeds are annoying and if you can spread you can win a team fight very easily. also it gives a little sustain and a 5% DR on bleed effect which gives you some independance, and the berserker gives even more sustain for you and your team. obviously, the sustain is fair and not broken like other classes self healings, but it is there and it is impactful. some people argue annihilation has FAKE dps... I disagree... the dots hit harder if you can manage them and put them all at once on a target, people often understimate it and try to heal when it is too late. also, some people say anni doesn't have any burst... well... I disagree... Perhaps it is the spec that scales the most with gear because of the juyo stacks. I have hit as high as 34k with Annihilation, it is a very deadly skill in a short cd. and the dual throw saber buffed hits really hard also. see that match vs 3 mercs: http://imgur.com/a/pGOdh

  5. This is scary very very scary. for two reasons: -it makes the game unbalanced for far too long. -and even if they fix, there is no guarantee that the problem was really fixed or if they made the class useless, or whatever... we need pvp class balancing more often....

    Healing Debuff

    yes there is. when you see numbers of a healer pulling 4~5m where a good dps pulls 2~3m you know something is wrong. a single healer should not outscale multiple dps players. it should be a one to one ratio. the way it is make fights too long and not even fun and real, especially when you also add the incredibly strong defensive cds of some classes. there should be an overall healing debuff on pvp of about 40~50% and healers would still be useful. perhaps a boost to dmg skills of healers. and that is it.
  7. even the tanks, some jugs, are pulling more dps on tank speck with dps gear than DPS by nature characters... my fight is that i want to be more immerse on a pvp game. having matches where things can't ever die or in 10 minutes of match there is like 1 death... i mean... feels like my light sabers are made of bananas and blasters are actually nerf guns haha
  8. i agree my team was not much well of dps. but i have had plenty of matches where the outcome was just the same. there is no contest or denying that a single healer is outscaling multiple DPS players. a healer should do about the same amount of healing as a single dps, not be a player that is worth multiples. this is what is killing the pvp.

  10. this match here summarizes everything: http://imgur.com/a/spj4S i topped the DPS of my team by a lot, and was still second by close against the enemy team. more than 3m DPS, and still one of their healer, alone did 5m+ healing... and of course... NOTHING died... But the white knights here will say I need to l2p, time my cc, and keep defending broken heals because they play heals. and they know very well healing scales above dps by a lot. the game could be much more balanced and fun if healing was tuned down on pvp we need a debuff by at least 30~50% in order to keep it balanced in PvP. things will die, matches will be quicker, will be more fun, everyone wins. a suggestion i give is debuff the healing for healings at same rate increase their dps in their damaging skills. at least for pvp. it is not hard to do, they dont even need to change or mess up with PvE. it is easy to create a buff that works on pvp only. many other games already have similar features.
  11. is it not disgusting? another match: http://imgur.com/a/spj4S i topped the DPS chart by a lot. and I still ONLY GOT ONE KILL... their top healer managed to get 2M more healing than I did in DPS even though I topped the DPS of my team and still almost caught with the top dps of their team... now 5m+ healing not mentioning the countless bubbles that absorb damage also... IT IS NOT OK... Nothing dies if there is a good geared healer... healing is scaling too much... we need a debuff for all healings in PvP something between 30~50%. i AM SURE pvp will be a lot more fun and healthy. if 50% ends up being too much, reduce to 40, if too much to 30% I am sure at least 30% is necessary

  13. lmao.... clicked on that youtube chat and saw "operative healer"... yueah he plays a class knowing that healing scales above dps... is not even worthmy time to discuss with a guy that is scared hewill become useless ONCE THEY BALANCE the game.

I know how to play this game. have you ever made it to legendary in the current season in Guild Wars 2? no then ****. guild wars has real balance. not this game and I didn't even oplay the fotm. sadly, star wars has a really poor design that even a pvp player like me (high ranking in many different games) can simply point out this game has a trash balance. doesn't take much brains to agree with that. if you defend that stuff, then either you are crazy or you are either a healer or you main a mercenary.
  15. dont even start bro... i did a lot of research and yeah eventually I can win and outplay broken classes. but geared and smart players on a merc will **** on everything else. there is no arguing that mercenaries are not broken altogether with sorcerer healers, healing overall scaling too strong, and ranged vs meele
