  1. The thing is guilds should have rewards and features for those that are guilded. Sure, we get 5%+ XP, but there are prob other games out there that do it a whole lot better. And not just content features, but just things to make it easier to run guilds and just put things together. QoL things for the guild interface. Fixed it for you, but WildStar does look quite promising. I'll keep a close eye on it before jumping to conclusions.
  2. If this account's sub is running out and I might not be able to post thereafter, might as well leave with a bang of honesty.
  3. LOL true, but his post was already invalidated by the time I posted.
  4. It is a sign of changing times, but it's showing how this market is churning out lower quality games by half-assed developers. This game ended up going F2P due to an incompetent dev team lead by the greedy folks at EA only looking to make a quick buck. With the implementation of F2P, they were able to increase the survivability of this game and milk anyone they can for as long as they can. I don't see the grass being greener any time in the near-future.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if someone had the audacity to claim EA/BW was promoting false advertising. Although this vendor has gotten updates—albeit extremely small updates—we all know Andryah's agenda here. If we avoid responding to her remarks and unsubstantiated accusations, she'll go away.
  6. Honey, the proof is back on July 31st of last year when we got that call from EA saying SWTOR was going to the F2P model. I have already proved my stance, and won. F2P saved this game from sinking and further. If it wasn't for that garbage model, this game would have failed. Except, it still failed. Over 2+ million players already agree with me. This game has a very bad reputation in the MMOverse. Your "fact" is nothing but an unsubstantiated accusation used for your own personal agenda. Give it up. The switch to F2P was a good thing in order to keep this game alive, but it shows how badly this game did that it needs some garbage model just to keep itself afloat. It's also honey for those who defend the game and love to serve as apologists.
  7. The F2P is a failure model. That is why SWTOR went from P2P to F2P... in less than one year...
  8. I agree with all your points. I'm not sure if it has to do with the pre-alpha HeroEngine we're using for this game, but running a /who or opening a Friends List I have noticed that "lag" moment.
  9. Agreed. F2P is just a last resort that all it really shows is how bad their game really is. If this game's cash shop was removed or started being largely ignored, this game would sink hands down. No more SWTOR. F2P is such a terrible model. Complete and utter garbage. Hopefully there will be future MMOs that can live and thrive under a P2P model.
  10. Goodbye, OP. I wish you well on your future gaming endeavors. I'll still stay subbed to SWTOR, but if 2.4 doesn't deliver I might drop my sub.
  11. Gabe Amatangelo talking about PvP and WPvP at PAX. I have no words...
  12. Just for that, I might actually resub for 2 more months...
  13. /Agree My sub on this account ends in one day. I might not be able to post on the forums after my sub finished, but if I still can, well yippee! After this account can't post on the forums, I won't be back on the forums for a long, long time. Possibly for good, too. BW will keep getting my 6/mo sub, but once other games come out, I most likely will be playing less and less and may end my sub. SWTOR is one of the games worth playing and subbing to on the market, but I don't think it'll be the same thing in the near-future. Lots of huge titles coming out in the next 1 to 3 years.
  14. You progress in an MMO through gearing. How about BW adds a PvE bolster to FPs and Operations? Now wouldn't that be dandy?
  15. It's probably not constructive, but I'm not bothered by it. The defenders? Most likely.
  16. I agree. Tbh, I do like the CM, but I see EA/BW deviating more towards cash shop patches and not enough content patches. The game still lacks endgame content. Virtually no one does the tier 1 Ops anymore, and PvP has been getting shafted. Hell, RP'ers are the "Untouchables" of the system. I get that EA and BW are businesses, but the more subscribers feel undervalued and feel like they're getting nickel and dimed for more and more things, the more subs this game will lose. Sure, we have F2P'ers and Preferred players, but eventually they might leave too. F2P'ers and Preferred players are most likely just here for the Story, but once they run out of things to do (which they most likely will) this game is going to tank again, and EA/BW will be forced to do something else so they won't be forced to shutdown the game (and I highly doubt they have any other options left). Unfortunately, with Biodrones running around, and with others even having the audacity to say the stuff they say is pragmatic, there will never be an honest discussion. Biodrones will keep droning, and people who back up their responses with what they think they say is objective won't help this game at all.
  17. Someone should copy the thread's url and message it to Copperfield or Marty.
  18. Taorus speaks for me. I still think SWTOR is in maintenance mode. BTW, I love all your responses, Tao. They crack me up!
  19. The list doesn't have either Copperfield or Marty. It's not proper till we have our Gaming Legends on there.
  20. I am in full support of this. PvP is by far the best play style, and it beats the static and boring PvE and leaves it in the dust.
  21. Another reply, but I think that won't get BW to respond just yet. We just need to keep racking in more support and ideas.
  22. There's another thread about it. It's a known issue. It'll be fixed... Soon™.
  23. More signatures, please! We need more if BW is ever going to comment here! We need their acknowledgment of this issue!
