Well, there use to be Open World PVP on PVP servers, but the population died off. BioWare's fix to this was to make PvP/PvE instances on all servers. So now all servers are basically the same. The former PVP servers are so low population that it's like playing a single player game now. I've never played WOW. I just had no interest in it. I guess it was the Star Wars thing that made me try this game. I still enjoy the PVP in this game though.

I've Pugged all the ones I've done so far, lol. I'd say actually around 80% of the Group Finder teams for Flashpoints have been good or good enough. I decided to do the Dark vs. Light Event on Harbinger because it's the only server that has pops 24/7. And I live on the east coast.

I'm going for Legendary! I'm like 5 HM Flashpoints away. Queue Hard Mode Flashpoints people.

That's how you bring back PVPers to this game. BioWare/EA should have a ranked season and the top players get into a Tournament with real money prizes. Esports it up. That would bring back players and a flood of new players too.

On dps I do top damage in WZs around 75% of the time. On heals in WZs I do top heals around 80% of the time. My rotation between nodes and doors is really good. I'm not saying I'm the best player, but if I'm on a team with good players it usually wins. I have been on pug teams that have beaten premades from good guilds when I have good players on my team. It happens and it is fun to do.

So, I solo que WZs maybe around 70% of the time. I'm playing my sniper which I made for the Dark vs. Light Event. Sniper is my least played class, but I do alright on it. I get a reg arena pop. There is a Premade on the other team (1 healer, 3 dps). Our pug group has 1 healer 3 dps too, so I say to myself this might be a loss but let's see what this team is made of. 1st round I get tunneled hard. I'm at 35% HP for most of the round. I'm popping everything, using seismic grenade. . . We kill their whole team and I'm at 2% HP. The healer saved my *** for sure. 2st round they switch tactics and tunnel the healer. I free cast and just destroy them. We win a hard-fought 2-0. It is fun beating Premades! I've done it lot's of times on every class in the game because I can pump out the dps or heals (I rarely play tank) . Sure, I've lost to Premades too, but if you are getting stomped into the ground by a Premade it's because you have bad players on your team. If you have good players on your team, you have a good shot at beating them.

I was in a WZ the other day with some of the worst sorc's I've ever seen. You know the force storm spamming backpedaling free kill kind. Anyways somebody kept saying in Say Chat, "Reported for hacking", lol. I only did like around 2.5k dps (which is not that great) but still did 5x their damage, lol. It was hilarious.

Merc can LOS and heal to full. Merc hits hard too. It's basically the same play style as sorc, positioning and kiting wise. Sniper has no where to go when in trouble. Both can do lots of damage in WZs. In arenas both take heavy focus.

I remember last year "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" seemed to give this game a noticeable increase in players for about 2 and a half months when it came out. Will "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" give a similar increase?

POT5 is where I really learned to play this game. The most fun I've had in this game was on POT5. When this server had population the edge feeling in the open world was thrilling. You could be jumped at any time, any where. I remember back during the Gree Event in 2013 there would be all out operation group wars over who would take on the world bosses. It was insane. I learned PVP on POT5 from playing in WZs against really good players like: Turrican, Mudclot, Noshadow, Fíg, Glôry, Xékshek, Mãngo, Bobbydigitall, Dolçe, Cáprica, Líquíd, Tie. . . to name a few. I don't play on POT5 anymore because the population is gone and no group content pops. It was good times back in the day though. RIP POT5

I just went 10-0 on 65 PVP pubside on Harbinger, and my mando is like half augmented. You have good players on your team and you have a good shot at winning.

I can go 4 or 5 Warzones without dying once on my operative. It's the most troll class in the game. Their only weakness is it can be a little squishy in group fights and you have to watch out for stun locks, but that's it. Positioning and smarts fixes most of that.

I always thought a "Skank Tank" was a dps who changes to tank stance to protect someone on their arena team. Trying to give an unfair advantage. Like a ranked match with 1 healer and 3 dps. One of the dps (Jugg, Sin, PT) "Skank Tank's" for the healer. A tank with some dps gear is OK, I guess. They would gain some dps and lose some of their tankyness.

I'm leveling a darkness spec assassin for the D vs. L event. I'm playing in mid PVP level 41-65 and it feels really squishy. And my damage sucks. I wanted to play tank because I never really played tank before and I thought it would be something new and fun to do. What's strange is that I do really well on Hatred and Deception. I have a level 65 sin and shadow on another server. I'm not really sure why dps is so easy and tank is so hard. Plus, I've seen sin tanks do really well in pvp, I just haven't figured it out yet.

I know for a fact that POT5 and Bastion should be merged. The population is so low that group content doesn't pop. It's like a single player game on dead servers. If a new player had the misfortune of picking a low population server they wouldn't even see 3/4 of this game, and would most likely quit. I don't think it's very healthy for the game to have servers where group content doesn't pop.

I actually like WZs more than Arenas. Some classes get focused down in all dps Arenas (sniper, merc). That can't be fun to have 4 guys on you every round and die in 10 seconds.

Because PVE servers are super lame. There's no edge, no feeling of danger, no thrill in the open world. You could sleep walk through the PVE on a PVE server. PVE servers will always be a super lame place for the scared players (oh I'm so worried about my flag).

When was the last time there was new pvp content? It's got to be over a year. Make a new map. Bring back 8v8 ranked. Create a new ranked 2v2 (or something). Do a pvp tournament where the best players can win real money or prizes. Create a reason for people to play on PVP servers. Do something. . .

Gunslinger has better burst, Sorc has better everything else.
